After playing beautifully in Inter Milan’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham in Champions League, Marcelo Brozović was the hero Saturday; scoring an injury time winner to beat Sampdoria 1-0 on the road. Brozović took the ball down on the right side of the box and put just enough juice on it to beat the Sampdoria keeper. Ivan Perišić came off the bench in the 60th minute while Šime Vrsaljko remains sidelined after the knee knock he picked up versus Spain. After a slow start in Serie A, Inter now have a winning streak that have put them tied for fourth place in Italy.
Brozović Winner
Pjaca Goal & Assist
Marko Pjaca opened his account for Fiorentina on Saturday, scoring the first goal of the match in a 3-0 victory over SPAL. In the 18th minute, Pjaca would have an easy open shot on goal as the defense and SPAL goalie were scrambling. He would also assist in the 56th minute as he – maybe accidentally – laid off the ball to Federico Chiesa in the middle of the box. Croatia need Pjaca to get back to his old 2016 form on the right wing to replenish the squad to full strength.
Good news for Croatia and Eintracht Frankfurt supporters as Ante Rebić has finally returned from injury. Rebić came off the bench twice this week and scored on Wednesday in a 3-1 loss to Borussia Monchengladbach. Rebić tapped the ball into the goal following miscommunication from the Monchengladbach goalie and his defender. If he can get close to his form last season, Croatia will be in good shape in October versus England.
Hahah Bobby it’s cool they’re in the game but FIFA is utter horseshit tbh with u. I bought FIFA18 just for the WC mode but it was so slow, tedious and boring i couldnt bear to play it and make my usual pro-Hrvatska YouTube video. It might be better for Hrvatska to be in Pro Evo!
Your vote doesn’t count
Here’s my votes for FIFA player of the year.
L. Messi 1st, E. Hazard 2nd, K. Mbappe 3rd.
@Maminjo-Couple of killer posts where you have totally nailed it.
@Truth-Keep trying and maybe you will nail things one quarter as well as Maminjo has.Its just that you are too simple to do this ever.FFS,your post earlier about if we didnt make it past Denmark, then no award for Modric. No shit Einstein! Progressing further,he was able to keep highlighting his talents.Go out early, however close…..No award,Einstein. At the end of the day, winners are grinners and losers eat turd.If your daddy had pulled out 2 seconds earlier, you would have been a stain on the floor.
@Soul-Keep up the good fight my man.You inspire us to believe in ourselves, rightfully so.Look at what we can do!This has been our time to shine. Our boy Luka is the Champion Of The World! This has been the greatest achievement in our short recent history. Some will want to tear it down for self interest.Such is life.
Fouls were actually 28 – 12 that match.
We know it was bs. No need to exaggerate.
And definitely no guarantee we roll through Poland or Wales. Especially after a match that gruelling and with our history of playing down to opponents.
@ maminjo
I agree completely! Plenty of times Croatia has been on the wrong side of things!
The ones you mention i think about
Obviously there was Turkey 08
And i still think what if with rakitic header vs Spain in 2012
In the end, luck has a way of evening out somewhat. I think Croatia s world cup run though put them in the more lucky than not lucky category ultimately
@Maminjo – fantastic post. I sometimes forget the what if’s that go against us so I can be guilty of that sometimes. Regardless, great points you made.
What If What If What If…
I like how people cherry pick all the ‘what ifs’ that favored Croatia, but ignore the ones that did not favor Croatia.
At Euro 2016, we were the team that killed it in the Group phase, beating Spain with our B team. The French newspapers were all writing about us and about Luka Modric.
Then, Portugal’s smart (but sleazy) coach decided to just have his team hack our players all game and pray that they can get away with it. The ref allowed for this strategy, and 40 fouls called that game (with many missed calls as well) and only one yellow card.
Croatia loses, and all the hype and notoriety that Modric and the gang received, went away.
If that game was properly called, we win it, and we take out Poland and Wales with an easy path to the finals. France was inexperienced and played like crap that game, so you could argue that our experienced squad would have beaten them and we’d have had a Euro cup by now (and Modric wins this award two years earlier).
@Truth – I see what you’re saying but Croatia wasn’t eliminated by Denmark and they finished 2nd. The stats aren’t based on what if’s but on what actually happened and what actually happened is Cro finished 2nd Andy Real won CL and Modric was instrumental.
Also as you mentioned Ronaldo had no fluke elements but Ronaldo and many other strikers are as successful as the service they get. Ronaldo’s stats aren’t what they are without Modric and it took consecutive years for people to see that until Modric finally received the recognition he rightfully deserved.
90% of Ronaldo’s goals are in the box and 80% are 1 touch goals (read that off of goal.com).
Modric was responsible for keeping both Cro and Real ticking. The pass before the pass, keeping possession etc. There’s no fluke in those elements as well so I can use the same logic.
http://nogometne-vijesti.hr/ovo-ce-biti-zanimljivo-evo-kako-zagrebacki-dinamo-izgleda-u-fifa-i-19/
Iggy!
dumb overly loyal imocan, could have been 4-0 for monchen in the first half, frankfurt are utter shit. when ur able to kick the ball 10 yards in front and pass up 3 defenders that is a good indicator that the ppl on the field arent on the same level as you. needs to get on a better team/league
Sorry been away everyone…i was in mental health inpatient because i tried killing myself after Modric won the best footballer award
Im a fag bc im from Lika
@croatianperson
My question is a little bit of both
As much as i love modric he was probably not the best player last year
Croatia could’ve really been eliminated by Denmark and the resume would look a lot different
Real madrid generally had a, weak season and caught some breaks in champions league, particularly the ramos tackle of salah and the Liverpool goalie forgetting how hands function. In addition, is modric is a top 3 instrumental player for Madrid is still very much in question
What Ronaldo and messi and salah did this year had no fluke elements in terms of their counting stats
@Truth – I agree about metrics for success traditionally were built around goals and assists and hopefully things are changing but that’s not how you originally phrased you’re question so it sounds like you’re backtracking.
Had you said something like “traditionally a forward or someone with more goals and assists wins this award but now Modric has won, is the criteria changing/becoming more sophisticated – has a player with so little goals assists ever won? Is this is a positive?” You wouldn’t have gotten so much push back.
That’s why it doesn’t sound genuine when you now bring up that point now after everyone called you out. Again it’s after the fact.
Ante, are you guys doing something to honour Modric? Post? Dinamo Zagreb produced a legend!! Worlds best player 2018. Biggest accomplishment in Crotian sports history. The biggest single achievement of any eastern European athlete…King! The worlds royal game.
why fuck me? bc i keep showing that Kvartuc is a yugo cuck?
Why does everyone keep thinking im Turkish?
@ Maminjo
Well said. That is the best breakdown ever .. some us realized all along .. sone didn’t.
@ Kathy
Peder Portuguese = Ronaldo.
Modrics Wife isnt bad looking either.
Modrić actually never played like a bust in Madrid.
People who say that are just regurgitating the weak articles that came out of a couple of Spanish papers, and never actually watched any games.
I watched them. He played well. Some journalists (who never watched Modrić play before) assumed they were getting a Pavel Nedved or a Johan Cruyff which are terrible comparisons.
But idiots will be idiots and only compared Modrić to Nedved because of the hairstyle and them being ‘Eastern European’… Or Johan Cruyff because of the identical looking face.
Nedved and Cruyff operated in the attacking third, so when you see Modrić sitting deep, he looked like he wasn’t doing anything. Anyone who watched the games and called him a bust is an idiot. But my guess is that most people never watched the games.
portuguese porkchop ronaldo should go back and get some more plastic surgery and quit crying about a fair and square voting process, he’s making himself look like a hotheaded bigheaded small penised greasy north african morrocan which most porkchops are proven to be, not european, waaa waaa waaa i’m so great king of the greasy small penised runts who smell like foreign codfish.
Truth (aka Ziva) you are eating your own words buddy! Lol. Turkey fuck you too goof!
@ truth
I promise you if you own up to calling Luka a bust and acknowledge your lack of belief in the greatest nogometaš of all time .. you will not die.
Just a small annoying part of your fragile ego will be liberated by your Soul.
Also you would gain a bit of credibility .. of which you seem intent to have here.
I believe modric was never called a bust but that he was playing like a bust, which was quite true
@‘the truth
Your faith in Modrić has been a guiding light for all of us here who post but do not have your mastery of insightful perspective.
May you continue to teach us selective memory.. and forget you called the greatest player in Croatian history a BUST, after a few months, a deadline day transfer and a toxic mourinho locker room at Real Madrid.
I’ll say this .. once in a while .. you can be amusing.
Lmfao .. “ I always stood by him ..”
You sound like a pravoslav with that Byzantine duplicity.
Croatians aren’t fooled by that BS.
We are ready every 40 years for millennia on how to take care of that.
ZDS
A couple notes
1) everyone so jumpy cause i asked if any player of the year ever had so few goals and assists…. It’s a legitimate question…. Mainly because it asks if soccer has become more sophisticated in assigning value than goals and assists…..i still likely think those are some of the most telling metrics
But in a world where tactics continue to trend toward aggressive high press, a player like modric is ever increasing in value as he is able to neutralize that pressure like few players and create opportunities out if it going the other way
2) unlike most on this board who called modric soft, undeserving of the armband, a perjurer, a traitor, no good….i always stood by him as a true player. The rest of you kvartuc disciples must have more faith in the future
https://www.facebook.com/HNLDruga/videos/272927946893754/
The next biggest story this week was my Zadar’s come from behind tie while short handed against Lucko.
– just kidding, well, sort of.
@Zlatan Hrvat
Maybe he’s an excellent teammate?
Yep Krama is a real concern. HE could easily chuck a N. Kalinic. Kinda worried about that..
@Goku
Do you feel a Modric article should be made to confirm that he won the award?
I don’t understand how Nikola Kalinic went to Atletico Madrid he is a bench rider there he is playing behind Grizemann and Costa. He isnt good enough to be playing for Atletico Madrid he struggled at AC Milan he is just a squad player. He would have only played against Iceland had he stayed on the Croatia squad EPL Serie A reject
I’m taking a jab at his Lovren perjury article b1tch
^
Why does one have to be made, we’re already talking about it?
Maybe you bozos should not talk about it until an article is put up next time, idiots!
How has an article about Modric not been made yet?
Fifa men’s player of the year is the ballon dor. They changed the name this year.
Rebić power and pace on the RW was the X factor.
@ BZ
LMFAO !!
7 year old daughter : “ why are they these colors??”
10 year old son : “adidas fit me better when I play .. “
I am just blown away by all this recognition.
It’s like I walk into these soccer shops and see so many scrubs on posters etc ..
Finally I want to see some nogometaši.
Could you imagine Boksic – Boban – Prosinečki in today’s market?
Like to see Rebić make the next step in his career.
He has that hunger back and looks to run over people.
He is our center forward.
Kramaric acts closer to Nikola Kalinic then we care to admit.
Pjaca had a pulse today.
Icardi is in the way of Perišić.
Brozovic looked good again.
Vrsaljko is sorely missed at Croatzionale.
Hope his knee heals up soon.
@Soul-wtf is up with the Modric’s? That colorway, in no way, represents him.
Nike ceo: Holy shit that is an ugly ass shoe!
Nike designer: Can we see if anybody on Nigeria will wear them?
Nigerian team: hell no
Nike Ceo: Who’s our least popular athlete?
Nike designer: Modric, just below Kap, sir. Nobody knows who the hell he is.
Nike Ceo: Call those the Modric’s then, who gives a shit what he thinks.
100th post, so much for waning traffic on this site.
Well if there wasn’t players at Real Madrid that got more than 1 goal and 6 assists then what would Modric be a part of?
Like @Soul Champ used to say when the NT was struggling, “Modric is surrounded by scrubs,” but at Real he was surrounded by anything but scrubs.
The funny thing is he won this award on the back of Croatia’s world cup run, and the only real change to the NT was Rebic.
So the conclusion I’ve come to is that Rebic won Modric the award.
Still good though!
@Mile – at times he is pragmatic but it often borders on cynicism so understand what you mean.
Why do you people read Truth’s comments? I just skip over them. Why would I want to read nonsense?
Truth – with that logic only forwards are capabale of being the best players in the world. The fact of the matter is a midfielder was more influential this past year in his club and national team’s success than any forward. Madrid and Cro both did well.
Did you’re San Marino simulation not tell you that? (This is a joke, I known it’s Monte Carlo. Just want to make sure it doesn’t go over your head).
Cannavaro won ballon d’or how many goals and assists did he have? Buffon finished 2nd and Kahn 3rd one year, how many goals and assists did they have? Iniesta and Xavi, how many goals and assists did they have? You’re argument lacks substance.
I don’t know if you either don’t know about soccer or are just trying to ruffle feathers.
Has there ever been a player off the year with so few goals and assists?</i?
Im sure i remember Oliver Kahn winning one year
Funny .. cynical Hrvati ..
Said we would never produce a team better than ‘98.
Luka was not world class ..
Luka will never be in the world 11 ..
Luka would never be World player of the year ..
Luke signature shoe ..
http://news.nike.com/news/nike-mercurial-vapor-pe-modric
Scumbag Kvartuc still crying over Modric’s success
(2 weeks later when a perjury against modric is brought up again) New article posted 5 min later
Woah i still havn’t made an article about Modric being the best player in the world! Im such a loser!!
No one cares that Croatia lost 6:0 to Spain in the Nations League its irrelevant to what Modric done and Croatia finishing second at the World Cup.People say we had easy run but yeah if you win your group you deserve it. We defeated Argentina 3:0 with Modric out playing Messi no one expected us to win that game.
Negative people always pipe up when their predictions come true, but you won’t hear a word from them when they are wrong.
Look at Iniesta and Xavi great players with not many goals. If it wasnt for them two players Spain doesnt win Euro 2008,World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012. Also they helped Barcelona to Champions Leagues Titles and made Messi look better than what he really is. I wonder why hes not as good with Argentina.
The truth: you thought he was a bust. Great powers of prediction. Who cares about goals and assists, what a shallow metric.
@bobby v
I still laugh at Ziva. He was always on this site putting down modric. Interesting how so mAny are quiet now. Not a peep. Lol
Don’t know but true football minds know there’s much more to the game than goals & assists…Ako znaš, znaš.
Has there ever been a player off the year with so few goals and assists?
https://img.fifa.com/image/upload/ag30shazs0wdowcyettg.pdf?_branch_match_id=561745841580400325
A long but interesting list of all the voters for this award and who they selected.
The one player who received more votes than should have, really disappointing me, was Antoine Griezmann. The only trophy he should have been awarded was for the best dive at the World Cup.
Next time, he should stay on his feet like a man. He is celebrating now, but, one day when he is done, it will bother him. He cheated himself and the World of a properly played final.
It is voted on by three individuals of each country in the World who are members of FIFA.
The captain and coach of each national team and one media member.
To Real Madrid fans and Ziva: From bust to best. You’re welcome.
LEL
Sorry guys! I’ve been too busy crying in my bed over the fact that this criminal is the best player in the world! DAMNIT
Wow.
This will be the 11th year since someone other than Messi or Ronaldo wins the award.
Kaka and Fabio Cannavaro were the last winners of the award, lol.
Insane.
Modric is the first player to ever win the following below in the same year. Also, odds have him as favourite to win Ballon d,Or.
And we still have doubters?
– Champions league midfielder of the season
– Club World Cup MVP
– UEFA player of the year
– WC MVP
– Fifa player of the year
https://www.google.ca/amp/www.goal.com/en/amp/news/who-will-win-ballon-dor-2018-messi-ronaldo-the-favourites/1u2ahpenhm2dc1gr07f92xqn68
Also, as a few people already mentioned – how the hell are there Lovren/Modric perjury charge articles up immediately but not one for this? I doubt/hope it isn’t intentional but you have to understand how this looks right?
Luka Modrić honoring Zvonimir Boban .. legends brotherhood.
Rakitic > Kante .. any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Can you imagine all the kids in Croatia seeing on of our own as the best midfielder on the planet?
Luka Modrić has been the best midfielder in the world for the last 3 years running.
He makes everyone around him better .. a true leader.
Comes from Zadar where they don’t even have a first league club anymore?!
Need to pipeline all that local talent and get the best grassroots academy in the world in Zadar. You can turn out a pro every year.
Ronaldo je peder.
Balon Dor ?
If they don’t give it to Luka then they can shove it up there ass.
Atheistic Dalic should be blamed for letting 6 goals in when Modric was there! not only Croatia has been deemed lucky for running an easy path to Final but also make a French team look superior and deserve the title!
Poor for Modric, the 6-0 would drive voters away from him.
this is currently only my conjecture!
Still no write up on Luka?
Not looking good
For you Fanooks!
West coast homos!
Strode up and took his umpteenth award like a BUST 🙂
@ real modric
If modric continues to win this award, he’ll turn into an egomaniac like Ronaldo, and not show up to congratulate when he doesn’t win it. 🙂
This award given to Modric looks second rate the Balon D’or award is Golden. Ronaldo also won the FIFA best player last year maybe Modric will win the Balon D’or as well. The short list will be decided on the 8th of October 2018. Modric said he’s not to interested about individual awards I bet you he is even though he said it’s more about the team. Messi and Ronaldo have won to many awards and are egomaniacs they will never congratulate.
So when is the Balon D’or decided?
Modric/Boban:
http://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2018/09/24/5ba9542d22601d93548b456d.html
Shameful display from Messi and Ronaldo from not even attending the event. Respect your fellow footballers
It’s sad that Kvartuc had enough time to spit out the Lovren article the other day about perjury on time but still hasn’t written about Modric being the best player in the world yet
Cestitam majstore, najbolji igrac na svitu….kralj
The Best award was introduced either last year or the year before I believe. It is FIFA’s best player award. FIFA used to have the Ballon d’Or as the award but now they are 2 separate awards. I believe Ballon d’Or is now only France Football’s award. So basically they are different but the same if you get what I mean.
Luka will win B’allon Dor.
Cry baby ronaldo stays in Turin to do push ups and look in the mirror in his underwear. Loser shows no respect when a long time team mate wins an award. CRY BABY!
You guys know that award was NOT the ballon d’or right? That was just a lesser one. The bigger one is end of the year; i know it’s easy to get confused cos there’s so many of these awards.
This is the same award. Used to be ballon dor now its Fifa mens best.
No apparently ballon d’or is still it’s separate thing and is announced towards the end of the year i believe
Is it not the same as Ballon D’or? Did they not merge the awards?
Hopefully he snags the ballon d’or as well
Luka Modric is the greatest Croatian athlete ever! This award is the holy grail of sports! You could win 10 gold medals…20 grand slams…basketball MVP etc. This is the global kingdom of sports!
Ignore the idiot. It is a great achievement.
Here is commentary worth reading:
https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/luka-modric-fifa-best-award-player-year-ronaldo-lionel-messi-champions-league-a8553316.html
Most deserving winner, the obvious weren’t as good last year.
LUKA! LUKA! Greatest EVER CROATIAN FOOTBALLER. No debate. Well done Luka.
almost everyone had modric winning, you are no Nostradamus
Well what do you know, modric wins like i predicted
Sometimes things are so obvious
What you young ones can learn from me is my underrated that the world is like a machine. Once you understand the mechanics and the rules of it, you can predict what the machine is going to do
Modric will win this award. These awards are always just about a feel good story when guys get bored of the obvious answers
Modric winning the award would be MASSIVE for Croatian Sports!!
In other news, tonight they will award the FIFA player of the year award. Word is Ronaldo will not attend, which likely means he was informed he was not chosen. I think, and everything points to the fact, that it will go to Modric. How significant is this for Croatian sports? How proud should we be?
@ Maminjo
Not exactly sure what we mean by trequartistia in the modern context of where the game is at.
I see the #10 these days as a Messi type who takes on multiple players by himself and either scores or assists for goals.
Kovačić for a brief time under Benitez at Inter looked to be developing into that. Then that Buffon Mazza clipped his wings.
Then he spends 3 years as a bit player lost on the field and/or on the bench.
It seems in the modern game that #10 player needs to be dynamic in the final third with the ball.
Vlašić .. as you have pointed out .. has both the physical and mental make up to attack in the final third.
We were never sure about his final product but now we are seeing with U21s and his loan club that he has it in him.
Hazard is the prototype #10 and unfortunately for Kovačić he is in his way most of the time at Chelsea.
Funny .. Kovačić finally gets on the pitch as a #8 but can’t fully express himself with an all world #10 in front of him.
Point is .. I feel we need a legit #10 type like Prosinečki or Boban. Shit .. we also need a full service #9 forward like Alen Boksic.
Rebić is that #9 for my money. He came on for 20 minutes and created havoc and should of scored the game winner.
I feel he will become a better finisher like Olić later in his career.
Pjaca is also a #10 candidate in the role I have laid out above.
Modrić and Rakitic are all World #8’s.
Brozovic has come alive as #6.
Perišić is our #11.
We need a 7, 9 and 10.
Barišić getting used to life in Britain.
Give him a start in October at least he will be physical.
@bz
About 3-months ago, i proclaimed i waa upgrading brekalo from bustalo. He had long been on my most promisingyoungster list as his advanced stats as a youngster predicted a lot of success. For his hateful actions involving the arm band, a lifetime ban from the nt is still worth considering though
What about the ones that fought in the war 25 years ago
^
A wise man once said that,
“The good of the whole is better than the good of each part, the best maker is not he who diminishes the good of the whole in order to increase the goodness of some of the parts; a builder does not give the same relative value to the foundation that he gives to the roof, lest he ruin the house.”
No Croat since Ante Pavelic has given a shit about the Catholic whole in Croatia, all after him have been nothing but shit builders and puppets, they can all go to hell!
Can any Croat leader after Ante Pavelic say they were ZDS? None, fuck ’em all!
Let’s all be clear.
Ante Pavelic and the Ustase were not good people
Tito and the Partizani were not good people
Who cares about Modric’s taxes
Kvartuc is a yugo
Let’s just be Catholic Croats and be proud of who we are and hold on to what we’ve got.
It’s just great to see Vlasic tearing it up and making the Sofascore champions League team of the week. Wouldn’t be surprised if Everton recalls him during the winter transfer window. Pretty different situation for a supposedly healthy Halilovic not even making the bench (Italian league allows for more subs to be listed than most top tier leagues). The U21s can spare CMs but not many high level attacking options past Brekalo or Vlasic. I don’t think the coach even called up Coric, Balic or Majer last go around.
Rog finally got the start over the weekend. And more importantly Rebic finally played and he played CF!
@Maminjo
I agree with you.
@the truth-from Bustalo to a higher ceiling than Perisic?
Sad day for me. I am less optimistic than The Truth about some of our young studs.
@The Real Deal
Are you quoting me because you agree with me?
Was I not right about Vlasic being an intriguing prospect? Dude is doing pretty good right now.
🙂
^
Titoljub
Let me end the speculation….vlasic will not be hazard. As usual, the cap for our young guys in a best case scenario seems to be perisic if all goes great
The one exception is brekalo who has a higher ceiling
Kovacic has spoken how he’s spoken with saari about becoming more threatening in terms of goal scoring. Let’s hope they can make something of that because for all of kovacic many qualities, he lacks offensive bite to his game
@Poglavnik
“Catholic bullshit”
Pull your head in ya Canadian moron, vast majority of Croats are Catholic you idiot. Poglavnik was a Catholic, Tito was like you, an atheist.
Perhaps you should call yourself @Tito, you are a Yugo like your boy Holiga?
I asked this question after the world cup,
“Does anyone know if we have an Eden Hazard type midfielder coming through the ranks? That’s the type of midfielder we really need.”
July 16, 2018 at 6:20 PM
Maminjo answered,
“Nikola Vlašić is intriguing and could be an Eden Hazard like player. He’s still surprisingly young at 20, and he’s an excellent physical specimen for his age. He’s already very built, and yet has excellent speed. The good news is that his father is Joško Vlašić, so if Nikola has any sort of potential Joško will definitely make sure that he maxes out on that potential.”
Did we even have a legit #10 at the World Cup?
Honestly, all of our midfielders have a bit of that offensive fair and creativity, making the need for a dedicated trequartista unnecessary.
Any one of Modrić, Rakitić, Brozović, Vlašić, Kovačić or Kramarić can be slotted there right now.
You can probably even count on guys like Krovinović, Ćorić, Bašić, Majer or Moro being able to play there too in the future.
Last conversation Cro football fans will ever need to have, lol.
@ Svima
Full disclosure as I have been known to post from an optimistic lense ..
Is Vlašić the only thing we have to a legit attacking #10?
That dude runs at defenders like Hazard.
I love Kovačić but it’s like the goal area is a foreign place to him these past 3 years .. hope he makes nice soon.
Vlašić has that Hunter in him like Mandžukić but in a whole different package.
Hope Dalić understands he has to call hungry players.
Vlašić wants to be great.
Give him a shot in October.
Call someone else into the U21s
@ MG
I appreciate that clarifying point.
You mention a simple post on Brozovic playing well and then you get a tantrum about all his comparative short comings.
IMHO after this World Cup and what he did as a CDM he is plus one in my book.
Now if he doesn’t want to run for the Vatreni going forward then he can keep his banana head in Milan.
Rebić .. alive ?!
Haven’t to see how he is running.
Stari said he was Beograd with some specialist?
Need that dude in October.
Also Vlašić would love to bust that England crew up.
Don’t forget about Rio Ave. They’re fifth in the Portugese League.
Central defender Toni Borevkovic (21) and defensive midfielder Nikola Jambor (23) are always in their starting 11.
Rio Ave was the club who discovered Filip Krovinovic who went to Benfica where he did great before his injury.
Indeed, no one made such claims about Brozovic. This is just the Truth, a third pressing of that rebarbative douche bag Ziva Istina, promoting his self declared predictive prowess on an irrelevant subject.
Nikola Vlasic is playing amazingly well.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DnfJAtYW4AAXqwc.jpg
^^ me
caleta car sent off!!!
Halil not even on bench again?
Caleta car with another start!!!
Good news:His D was integral in limiting the opponents to only 4 goals.
Bad news: Duje got a red card at the end of the game.
If he bangs in the odd goal like he did twice vs Iceland last qualy campaign he’s doing great
@ bz
Many times i do feel people think that’s who brozovic will become
Not to be
Vlasic with another one for cksa. He’s been smoking it lately. Santini with another as well. I’m glad Vlasic is playing good.
@The Truth- nobody ever thought Brozo would be any of that. What’s the point of the post?
Hrvatska Skola was a long time ago for me but I’m pretty sure lying and cheating was not promoted.
I wouldn’t get too excited about brozovic
Ultimately the guy will never be that talented offensively
He has a good shot, that maybe 1 out of 8 to 10 games produces a goal that might get someone excited
Brozovic peak potential is in the workhorse role like he played for Croatia in the world cup where he uses his great capacity to run a ton to essentially give his team 1.25 players defenders in front of the defense
Don’t ever expect him to be as clever or as cool as modric. As accurate a passer and penetrating a dribbler as kovacic. Or as insightful with his passes as prime rakitic
Paying taxes is all a game (especially if you are paying millions into it every year). It has nothing to do with morals.
I wouldnt expect a Canadian to understand that anyway.
If you can’t pay Spanish taxes then don’t work in Spain. Simple as that.
Or cheat the system for all I care just don’t try coming across as some God loving person.
I don’t try being a Catholic and a crook. I gave up that Catholic bullshit a long time ago.
If Dalic doesn’t go with Wreck em Rebic or “club first” Kramaric at striker, I think Pjaca is worth a shot. He has yet to gain his full speed so wing might have to wait, but he can still dribble in tight spaces.
Being Poglavnik Pavelic “who killed thosands of people” is better than being a white Yugoslav whose white Tito killed thousands of white people.
^
Serb.
I think tax fraud is better than being Poglavnik Pavelic who killed thousands of people
@Pog
Im telling you that.
Now explain why paying taxes to the Spanish authority makes you a good Catholic.
I just want to announce that im Yugoslavian
@jesus nigerski
I know right, damn niggers leechin the medicaid and food stamps
Luka won’t serve time he’ll just pay it off like Ronaldo and Messi did. Ya soul champ brozovic looks real good. No world cup hangover for that guy. I think perisic should also dye his hair marmalade. That would be good.

Epic – Brozo
This dude has turned the corner with his career.
Banana head or not .. he starts to bang those goals to go along with his field play then we are business.
Sure. Keep telling yourself that.
What does paying taxes or “pergury” to Spain’s tax authority have to do with being a good Catholic?
I could probably argue that he’s a better Catholic for doing so, lol.
Almost as good a Catholic as pavlevic

Tax fraud, perjury..
What a good Catholic boy.
Marko Pjaca .. LIVES!!
God bless him as this game time will give him physical confidence.
Hope he can get into a good run of form for himself and the Vatreni.
Brozo with the late winner for inter. What a finish!
Its a good day to walk around san pedro and los angeles shooting niggers wherever you find one, do the world and future a favor and shoot your local niggers
Kramaric played CF today and statistically had a decent game. Pjaca got the start on the wing and had a decent game with a goal and assist. Still some over dribbling and forced passing though. Lorenco Simic came on late for SPAL and helped solidified the back line. Good showing from the young guys.
Doesn’t look like Lovren is starting today … which I think is good … it’s going to be a long season
Remember what i said about how the 6-0 wasn’t a shock given the enormous, monumental physical and emotional effort the boys exerted in the WC?

I think some of you whiners need to take this onboard.
