Salernitana left-back Domagoj Bradarić assisted on the game’s opening goal Sunday in a painfully slow week across Europe for Croatia’s national team players. Last place Salernitana would lose 2-1 to Genoa however despite the early lead. Although Bradarić has only been capped by the senior side four times, he could be a left-back option in the future if Sosa does not work out. He’s receiving ample playing time in Serie A for Salernitana, who are expected to be relegated this season, sitting six points behind safety. Bradarić received a 7.9 grade from FOTMOB. He put a perfect pass on the ground to teammate Martegani for an open shot on goal in just the second minute of the match for the assist.
Josip Stanišić played the full 90 minutes for 1st place Bayer Leverkusen in a 3-2 injury time win over RB Leipzig. With the win and a Bayern Munich loss, Leverkusen now sit seven points clear atop the Bundesliga table. Stanišić received a 7.2 FOTMOB rating. He was not at fault for either Leipzig goal. Good to finally see him receiving solid playing time under Xabi Alonso for the top side in Germany.
Luka Modrić remained on the bench as an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s 2-goal ‘come from behind’ victory against Almeria. Real Madrid would score the winner in the 99th minute to beat Almeria 3-2.
Both Mateo Kovačić and Joško Gvardiol had the weekend off as Manchester City was idle on the Premiership calendar.
Does anyone have any idea why Marco Pasalic was taken off after just half an hour during Gorica vs Rijeka?
According to Rijeka’s coach Sopic, he took off Pasalic and Ivanovic before HT because of the poor pitch. Heaps of snow and muddy patches.
Sopic in post-match interview stated that he did not want to start the match because of the poor condition of the playing field.
They were playing bad. Coach claims it was for health.
Čop with the hat trick, Dinamo downed 3-0 at home.
We still have a ways to go… but that’s a big loss for Dinamo. A lot of followers just assumed this game and the other make up were in the bag. If Dinamo lose that other makeup, it’s a true uphill battle to the championship
They deserve all of this for what they did to the master of Croatian football…. Mamic. They should be treating him like a god, instead they try to imprison him. Srmota
U Hrvatski jezik je “sramota” a ne “srmota”.

Čop is a player I’ve always liked. He had quite a few highlights when he was in Spain. I just think it’s funny that a player with his ability to change a scoreline has been bouncing around the HNL in recent years. I get the impression that he made his millions abroad and is happy to just play close to home and help out these smaller HNL clubs. Anyone have more of the story about Čop?

Nothing overly interesting here, other than stating the obvious, but it’s always nice to read something about our boys.
Dunno if it’s true but article mentions Josip as a fan favorite👍
I watched stanisic play past few games. Too laid back in defender and sloppy too. His passes are short simple passes, no risk taking in attacking and through long passes
What the heck are these reports that Baturina might go to Ukraine??? Like how does that make any sense. Play another year in HNL if you’re not getting picked up right now. Have a good year in HNL and then go to a top European league. This smells like Frigan going to Westerlo or Biuk going to LA.. ridiculous a top talent going to a crappy team
Biuk might be on his way to Real Valladolid. Spanish 2nd league. Decent move if he gets mins.
Lol he shouldn’t have left Hajduk for La in the first place. If he had a good year at Hajduk he could have gone to a decent club at a top tier league
Yeah Marc, going to Shakhtar would be ridiculous and I was also reminded of Frigan’s bizarre move to Westerlo when I read that report. But I really trust that Baturina would be sensible enough to say no to such an offer.
Stanisic didnt play well for leverkusen so far..i agree with the rating article. He has not playing well even though leverkusen is winning..look at back LCB hincapie..he is so good at reading and making last ditch clean tackles.
If stanisic cannot even displace kossounou, i cant see him have any future at bayern..great disappointment..expecting much more..maybe he is better at 442

Josip Stanisic – 5 – An average game from the Bayern loanee, the drop in quality between him and Odilon Kossounou in the right centre-back position is noticeable.
It’s a shame things didn’t work out for Musa at Benfica. I had thought this would be his breakthrough season.
He definitely needs to move elsewhere to get regular playing time. Besides Bologna, another Italian club – Genoa – has also been linked to him. Think it’s not a bad idea if he joins Union Berlin too, as he will get to play under a Croatian coach. Pretty sure he will leave Benfica, just a matter of time.

I took a look at match summaries of the Dutch league games played yesterday. Ivanusec only played 10 minutes for Feyenoord while Sutalo and Sosa were not even on the bench for Ajax.
Erm, has Ivanusec been playing much for Feyenoord? I’m too lazy to check, hehe😜 Seems pretty quiet from his end…
W/ Jordan Henderson signing – who will take 90 minutes per game – can imagine Ivanusec doesn’t see another minute this season (unless injury / suspension)…
Pretty embarrassing for us – 3x players at Ajax – all three busts
All right I went to check the status of Sosa and Sutalo. According to transfermarkt both guys are carrying a knock, hence their absence from the game yesterday.
And nah, I wouldn’t label them as busts. I have full confidence in Sutalo, yes he’s still a little error-prone but he is a classy defender and will go on to have a fine career. I also have some faith in Sosa (who played the full 90 minutes for Ajax in the recent win at 6th-placed Go Ahead Eagles before taking a knock afterwards). As for Medic, I’m not sure what’s going on… he was a standard first team player throughout his time at St Pauli… I would imagine he’s a decent no-frills CB. Maybe he should return to St Pauli who are currently leading the 2. Bundesliga and stand a chance of being promoted.
Henderson moved to Ajax btw, so no impact on Ivanusec who’s at Feyenoord.
Ivanusec doesn’t play for ajax
He never said he did…
I was replying to anonymous. He said he did
Nemoj im reć. Nek tipkaju. Ionako ne znaju ništa.
Ivisic getting a lot of love after his first game at Kentucky. Super behind the back pass for a 3 for his team-mate.
Rex chapman tweeted about him ffs. Hopefully, he will be our Jokic.
He has a nice 3pt shot and he’s a legit 7’2″ tall.
He will get a lot of interest in the draft.
One good game doesn’t make a great 3 point shooter.
He was at 30% in his last season of organized ball.
As far as draft prospects BIG Z was late 2nd round at best in most mock drafts.
If he keeps this up though people are saying he can sneak into the lottery it being a down year as far as NBA prospects goes.
There is no room in NBA for slow 7ft.
The next Croatian who does anything in the NBA is years away.
He’s 7’2” and very nimble for his size, you’re light years away from knowing anything about hoops!
Hi. You’re pretty dumb.
Musa should really leave the club now..benfica has signed marcos leonardo for 18m and he has scored two goals in two games..even arthur cannot perform, benfica sub in leonardo first at 70min..and then musa at 93min. With danish striker injured and once he returned to squad he will be first or 2nd choice striker as benfica plays only one striker.
I saw somewhere union Berlin was looking
Went to find it and now I saw Toronto Fc and Dallas
Wtf
He is too good for MLS….right??
I think Musa’s preferred destination is the Serie A with Bologna. Should be good enough for a mid-table team in the top european leagues.
What is wrong with MLS? The league pay good money. People leave Hrvatska to escape the corruption and go make money so they can come back to live better. I do not know too much for MLS but their games are on Arena Sport. Stadiums look great they have money
