Brando “The Balkan Bear” Peričić has his second UFC fight officially announced. He will take on English-Scottish Louie Sutherland (10–4). The fight will take place in London on March 21 at UFC Fight Night: Evloev vs. Murphy.
Brando is coming off a dream debut, knocking his opponent out 1 minute 55 seconds of the very first round. He’s now looking for his second win in the UFC and to further establish himself as a top UFC heavyweight contender.

We already have a problem in Athens
They have Jagusic #88
U know, the # that Mario Pasalic wore, until it was BANNED in Serie A!!!
Anonymous is fearful the Greeks are exploiting young Jaga to promote some far-right objectives
Poor Jaga – already been exploited and trafficked on his first day
🙁
Delete this post before Iggy sees it
MCGA Perkovic fanatics, the lot of you! Sorry, for my ignorance, what does the number 88 signify.
So is this the far-right issue:
In Christian tradition, the number “88” is often associated with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is because Jesus rose from the dead on the eighth day, which is the day after the seventh day, symbolizing a new beginning. Additionally, the number “88” is also associated with the infinity symbol, which represents eternity and the endless nature of God’s love and mercy.
Seems pretty tame.
WOW that was the 88th comment!
What is the 8th letter in the alphabet ?
What song was requested in a Miami club recently, whereby Clavicular and co were ultimately banned for singing along
That’s at least the reason why Serie A said they banned it
Can’t believe Mario wore #88 at some point – shocked there hasn’t been more outrage over it he must be a far-right-wing nut job !
Well, you know, you dont really need to speculate about dog-whistling when you have the actual POTUS posting Obamas as monkeys and similar things !
Budimir with another header goal vs Celta Vigo.
He has 11 goals in 22 games…but 3 are PKs.
He needs to keep scoring to get his rate back up to what it was last season.
He needs a minimum 50% scoring rate (not including PKs) to secure his starting spot.
1st news of WC ticket allocation.
My cousin was successful in 2 Cro-England tix. Unsuccessful for Cro-Ghana.
I haven’t heard yet for me regarding Cro-ENG or Cro conditional Rd of 32, so I’m guessing I am unsuccessful
I was successful for 2 conditional tix for Quarterfinals. Nothing else. And I put 2 applications in for Philly and Toronto.
Group Stage games were impossible to get.
American secondary market scam system in full effect.
Dalic / Nose-Pickers –
You said you’re visiting Italy, Germany, and England for lunch/dinners
What about Greece ?
Vida (who you want to bring on as coach anyways), Lovren, Ivanusec, Jedvaj and now Jagusic – I’m sure there is probably more playing there too
Get working
Hajduk offering Marko Livaja to Panathinaikos !
Hopefully they say yes !!!
Jagusic will have a real F-ing bodyguard by his side – at all times
U f with Jagusic in training – u get a black-eye from Livaja
He’ll make the Gavin McKenna incident look like small-fry
Always think of Danijel Pranijic, and his big fat lips tattoo, when I think of Panathinaikos. A Kovac favorite call up, not mine.
Hope Jagusic gets a lot of playing time and stays clean. Hope he has more ceiling and class like Goran Vlaovic.
Remember when Kovac played Pranjic in a more central midfield role to start the must win Mexico game in 2014 WC. A true WTF moment for me.
That was the game that it was clear, no doubt, Pletikosa needed to retire, and the Kovac’s Germanized Disciplinary approach coaching style, had run it’s course, and might not work for the long term.
Yeah for sure. Even in the Brazil match a couple of goals looked like he had concrete in his boots.
Very few things anger me more than Niko Kovač at the World Cup 2014.
His obsession with starting Pranjić was almost derailed when Pranjić got injured in the warmup friendly against Australia…and we played a good match without him against Brazil with Vrsaljko playing instead.
When I saw the lineup in the third game against Mexico and saw that Pranjić was placed in the regista role … I knew we were done.
We should have been down 0-2 at the half, and despite this, Kovač still didn’t change tactics in the second half (trying to preserve a 0-0 draw in a must-win game).
Then the wheels finally came off.
Did Jagusic’s GF dress him today ? He rolled up to Athens in LV
x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2019702388752581007
It’s nice Tin Jedvaj (who’s playing every game in the league) is there to protect him from the couple of Serbs on the team (who will probably try to sabotage him) and the Greeks (some no doubt will be jealous and nasty and try to sabotage him too)
The message of wearing LV is “sorry kids, I’m too big for Belupo” – suspect he never rolled up to a Belupo match wearing LV (they’d probably send him home)
He’s young and from a small Croatian town – and doesn’t realize wearing brands is dumb (you pay to advertise for the company for free) and over time we’ll introduce him to stealth luxury, but one thing at a time
just wait till he gets his first sleeve tattoo.
According to VL the below line up, barring any injuries is the most likely to start against England at the WC.
Livaković (31) – Jakić (29), Šutalo (26), Ćaleta-Car (29), Stanišić (26) – Kovačić (32), Modrić (40), P. Sučić (22) – Kramarić (34), Budimir (34), Perišić (37).
No Vuskovic is diabolical
lol
How are they predicting vs. England, when there is FOUR FRIENDLIES between now and then
Silly
Jagusic to Panathinaikos, not sure if that is a good move for him at this stage of his career? Greek comp is stronger than HNL and he may need some time to adjust which could mean spending time on the bench ?
With the WC 5 months away, I think he would have been better off staying with Slaven Belupo and continue to put in good performances on the field. If he is not playing regularly in Greece there is a possibility that Dalic may exclude him from the squad for the WC?
Pasalic with a goal for Atalanta. Video should auto go there but about 1:45 is the spot.
https://youtu.be/B_ZE9eT-DH0?t=103
The more I look at all other giants at the World Cup. We’ve punched above our weight the last two tournaments. After a disastrous Euros where we were unrecognizable. Allowing 6 goals in three matches and failing to clutch against Italy in the dying minutes was a tough pill to swallow. We look way stronger since then. The friendlies in March will give us a glimpse as to Dalic’s gameplay looks with new faces. We are just easing into our new generation now. Players like Gvardiol can lead the young bucks like Vuskovic considering he’s already played against the best forwards in the world at this stage. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. We will have a solid back four if everyone is healthy. We have a wonder kid that is getting attention from numerous top clubs, a tall two way forward centre back that is just starting his career, and Stanisic who can play multiple positions and do it with ease. The remaining defence we have are average and nothing more nor less. The rest either don’t start or hardly get positive or negative coverage. Just there and never stand out. I’d like to see how are midfield blend in. We went from having the top midfield in Europe from 2016-2022 with Modric, Rakitic, Brozovic, Kovacic. We still have two but Modric can’t play a full 90 and Kova id injury prone. Vlasic as attacking would make sense. Pasalic is a toss up and doesn’t start as much now. He can go from hot to cold.Baturina would start if he continues this pace. Sucic looks good too but same concept as Batutina, has to prove it. I have no idea what’s happening with Kova. Any update on him? He hasn’t had any reports or timeline. Perisic would be out only starter upfront above 30. Need speed too. He has that left foot but need gas in the tank with younger guys against a team like Ghana for example. Hell, I’d even bring Kulenovic, Prpic, Jagusic and too bad Grgic can’t make it with his injury. Let these young guns takeover.
Pasalic scored today too lol
“we look way stronger” because we had a insanely weak qualifying group. It’s difficult to gauge where we stand vs the other contending teams. It’s a tournament format so anything can happen.
That’s how qualifying groups work lol. I don’t know what you expect. You play Mickey Mouse teams time to time. Spain had Turkey, Georgia and Bulgaria. Germany lost to Slovakia. Switzerland drew Kosovo. Netherlands drew Lithuania. That’s why I emphasized two tough games against Colombia and Brazil. Teams that have offence and tougher than our qualifying group.
Agree with more young guys but no to Mario pasalic and vlasic. These guys are what they are bench players. Mario pasalic and vlasic good players if we’re down and crossing in balls late in game yes to being in WC squad but no to starters.
Baturina Sucic x2 is back in action. Peter Sucic is a penciled in starter at this point and I hope kramaric brakes his ankle so Baturina will start for WC. When I look at Croatia best young offensive midfielders like Barurina , L.Sucic , Jaga and stojkovic is that they can also play ball possession vlasic struggles in this.
Some people mention pripic which I don’t get he never plays at porto. Given so much talented CB coming up and with the current CB I don’t see prpic ever being a national team core player.
Prpić has depth player potential.
But yeah, our starting CB pairing are Gvardiol and Vušković for the next 12 years.
Even Mlačič, a teenager, was bought for more money than Prpić. If this Mlačić kid is legit, then there is not going to be a starting CB spot for anyone new until WC 2042 at the earliest.
Prpic now sitting on the bench bc they bought a 41 y/o Thiago Silva (who wants to go to the World Cup) – bad luck for him
At U21 – Olic started Prpic over Mlacic – every single time he could – the only time Mlacic played CB at U21 this season is when Vuskovic wasn’t there – otherwise it was Prpic and Vuskovic, ahead of Mlacic (not saying Olic and Kranjcar have any clue what they are doing – they also played poor Jagusic on LW in one of the games lol)
It’s not like Mlacic is going to slot into Udenese starting XI in Serie A today – how many Croats in the last 20 years went to Serie A team, but disappeared, never to be heard of again (and never playing one game in Serie A) – don’t have the list in front of me, but it’s dozens of names
Basically – we have zero clue how either will develop from here – at least Prpic is on the bench at Porto (and one injury away) from playing – while Mlacic might never make it out of the academy for all we know
If we end up with three great CBs – than Josko (bc he’s left-footed) can always go to LB (like Netherlands does with Mickey VDV)
P.S. Inter attended the Mlacic vs. Kumar match – where Mlacic didn’t play well (apparently) – and didn’t buy him
TBD whether Inter go for Kumar in the summer – but Mlacic played games with Inter – and now at Udenese (that’s already a downgrade)
Anyways – add Kumar and Jakirovic to “potential CB” list
200,000 Nepalese and most of Croatia want them out . I was in Croatia in September for a few weeks went to Istria, Krk, Pula, Rovinj, Porec. Lovely trip and had lots of Napalese kids serving us. Couldn’t believe how terrible they we’re saying Croatian people are to them. If you can’t speak perfect Croatian , they are told to buzz off and get someone to serve them who speak perfect Croatian , so they send over a Serbian kid. Kind of laughable. I know it’s a sports site, but the irony of the whole thing is incredible. imagine 1995 to this, it could not even be imagined. No Nepalese but load up Serbs, Albanians Macedonians etc. Progress isn’t always a straight line up. I think the Napalese are ok, their quiet, keep to themselves, try and assimilate but yes, they stink at soccer. We won’t be having any players out of this but maybe we become the best in sherpas . Always a stream of positivity.
I don’t think there are 200k Nepalese, but people are justified in being angry.
Nepalese are a tool used to lower wages for corporations there.
They are paid below the standard pay in Croatia, and companies are not even accepting resumes from Croatian youth for any of these jobs anymore. They just go directly through agencies, who bring in Nepalese and Indians to fill in the hotel, food delivery, and other roles that young Croats used to fill.
The problem with multinational companies (like Glovo, Wolt and these hotel chains) is that they’re not used to employing real people. They only want slaves and servants from the third World. Politicians take donations, then put out some BS about there being labor shortages, meanwhile most of these jobs pay below minimum wage and are still closed to Croats being able to apply for these gigs.
Also…
What’s your issue with Albanians and Macedonians?
I don’t mind them. They have been in Croatia a long time and are well integrated. They are great as workers.
Serbs I don’t mind either. I like the idea of their ancestors fighting a war with Croatia, only to have their children and grandchildren serve as waiters there.
Is it true that Croatia has established a Croatian language school in Nepal – so they have to learn Croatian – before they ever arrive in Croatia ? That’s a bit “crazy”
It was on a program on HRTi
CC @Mart
Yes, I pulled that number out of thin air it is more like 36,000 as of 2025.
Still it sounds like Croatia leadership and economy is a model aligned with spain and england rather than Poland and Hungary, unfortunately. A guess it is a stream of positivity progress compared to robotic AI replacements.

Contrary to popular belief, there are probably more people from the third World in Poland and Hungary than in Croatia.
Jagusic off to Athens
5.2+0.8+20% sell-on
Boban a MORON trying to low-ball Belupo lol – DZ could have easily made 10-15m profit on selling Jagusic
What’s wrong with Boban?
Why is he so hellbent on low balling Croats and HNL clubs?
I thought the offer was 3 million plus 30% future sale.
Instead, it was 1.75 million and 15%?
You can’t blame Slaven Belupo for declining this bad offer.
But Boban has no problem paying 3 million to a second division club for a guy like Villar?
The only thing I can think of is Boban didn’t want him that bad ? Boban sold Jakirovic for 2 mill plus % of future sale. So he must of known the best player in HNL would be sold for more than Jakorovic?
Who knows what’s the truth.
The guy introduced a player salary cap (which is a good idea) but it largely chased out the Croatian players.
Then he breaks his own rule by bringing in Bennacer and paying him way more.
Seems like a two-tiered rule system he has for domestic players vs foreign players.
Maybe Boban thought “oh the top 5 leagues” transfer windows have closed I can swoop in with a low-ball now – not realizing the Greek transfer window was open for another week ? lol
It’s crazy by Boban – easiest money DZ could have ever made (like 95+% guarantee they sell him for a profit – even at 5-6m)
At the same time – Belupo shot themselves in the foot with DZ by sending the wrong signal (that they are a selling club) by selling Suto for 500k and Agbekpornu for 150k in the week before the transfer window closed – those are tiny prices from a tiny club for players in the starting XI when you purport to be trying to win the Croatia Cup and/or finish top 4 (or whatever) in the league to get a place in Europe next season
Interesting that the country who has been in the final 4 in the last 12 years, who consistently punches above their population/GDP/ Soccer Investment infrastructure weight, has less chance to win the world cup than than: USA, Switzerland, Morocco, Ecuador, and Mexico. I guess if it is based on “It’s about time philosophy”, than you might as throw in Slovenia.

Our lack of Population/GDP/ Soccer Infrastructure Investment has proven to be a winning combination over and over again. When will they ever get it.
Yea. These are bad.
We’re tied for 19th on this list? lol
Italy hasn’t even qualified yet lol
2026 Croatia odds should be considered a 1926 -1930 version of Uruguay chances. We should be just above them. If the ascending trajectory of the last two weeks keeps apace, the only team we should be below is Spain. We are no match with their latest infusion of 500,000 potential young soccer players to choose from. Our 200,000 Nepalese can’t compete.
this is NOT a bad thing tho right? For ppl like us who think Croatia is constantly undervalued, we can continue to profit. I bet Cro to win it all in 2018 at 40-1, and then again in 2022 at 80-1. I hedged in 2018. I didn’t hedge in 2022, but would have if we got to the final again. But between the two, I still came out way ahead. I some some on them again in 2026 at 100-1
From your perspective you are quite right……..Nice! Actually, I don’t bet. I just found it interesting since for example, Mexico rarely makes it out of group stage. If Gvardiol comes back, Baturina keeps ascending, and Vuskovic, a wild card from the heaven keeps flying, and we play England like it was 2007, why not better odds, like 40-1 in 2018. This is the first Croatian team to not have lost a game in the qualifiers, albeit a weaker group compared to the past.
agree. The reality is, it’s not the odd-makers that are undervaluing us. It is the general population. The casinos would never set these long odds if they felt alot of ppl would jump on the odds, it would be too much liability for them. Since people aren’t jumping on these long odd in droves, the casinos will keep setting them like this.
It works out well for the minority of population like us that see this as a great value/opportunity
also, another part of the reason for the longer odds this year, there is an extra knockout round game. So one more additional round where mere bad luck can kick you out of the tournament
DDC
Should we have a chat about his recent lack of discipline and poor decision making ?
Y’day vs. Alaves
Pulling the shirt over striker’s head causing a penalty – you have to be pretty dumb to think you’re going to get away with this – what’s the point
Last week vs. Celta de Vigo
Needless and reckless tackle near the centre circle where he drew a red card (there was no need for that kind of tackle in the middle of the pitch – he hasn’t saving a goal or anything)
Ante Suto’s goal on his debut
Love his run into the box, stop, then drift-back, then jump including using his hands on his teammate’s back for leverage to get up, and finally the looping header – really nice striker’s instinct and technique here – two thumbs up

I watched most of the Inter v Torino Cup fixture and Kulenovic and Vlasic started the match for Torino while Sucic was on the bench and came on early on in the second half.
Torino were really bad in the first half, essentially defending against Inters 2nd 11. Kulenovic did a lot of running and chasing and actually had a header in the first half that just sailed over the cross bar. Overall, a good performance from Kulenovic.
From what the Croatian TV commentator said Torino has some forwards currently on the injury list, so not sure what will happen to Kulenovic once they return to fitness.
Vlasic also played well and was one of the better players for Torino. I have watched Torino play a few times in last few months and Vlasic has looked impressive. I was never a big fan of his because he was very slow and a bit lazy.
He has improved his fitness and as a result he runs a lot more and is also quicker. He also looked impressive in the last two WC qualifiers against Faroes and Montenegro scoring in both matches. On current form he probably deserves to be in the starting 11 for Croatia ?
Who does he start over?
We usually start a central midfield trio of Sučić, Modrić and Kramarić (in front of them).
They’re all playing well, and they all have technical ability that compliments one another (something Vlašić lacks).
We also have Baturina playing even better than Vlasić is right now, and we also have Kovačić coming back as well.
I like Vlašić, and I like his work ethic. But I can’t see him starting. Even out of position (as a winger) Dalić would still go with Baturina or Krama on the wing over Vlašić.
I do want to see him become a joker off the bench for us.
I like Kulenović’s work ethic too (and I love that they’re building chemistry together at Torino).
I hope Kulen gets hot and receives a callup.
I want to roll out a “hardworking” bench lineup of guys like Vlašić, Kulen, Marco P, Mario P, Oršić… who all know how to push forward and play aggressive for a late goal.
Watched Kule’s goal + last few minutes of Torino vs. Inter and the scenes after the whistle
Sucic and Vlasic were chatting for awhile after the whistle (Sucic wanted to speak to Vlasic, more than the other way around, based on body language)
But when they were done (maybe 2 minutes) – Sucic went off the field – and never went over to Kule to say hi (Kule was hanging around the area to go over to the Torino fans)
This is very poor manners by Pero – not only bc Kule’s a fellow Croat, but also bc they played together at DZ for two years, and it’s Kule’s first start and he scored (he played the full game) – Sucic probably thinks he’s already at the level he only needs to talk to fellow NT members and it’s very cliquish on his part not to at least acknowledge Kule
Anonymous doesn’t like it – it’s the first negative thing observed about Pero
Hopefully Kule takes this disrespect as additional fire – and when he scores 8 goals for Torino this half-season – and gets called up to the NT – he sticks it to Pero
On the Kule goal – it was really a nice hold-up play near centre – and then he followed the play and rushed the net and headed it in – really nice
@87:40 Pero did a nice Zuti-like twirl with the ball
Anonymous is sure someone actually watched the whole thing and can report back
Also
Belupo’s Suto scored the winner for Hibbs in the 93′ (over Dolcek)
Wedding boy with winning assist for Real Sociedad
Union Saint Guilloise played a draw today, with Biondic remaining on the bench 🙁
He’s a hard worker.
He constantly puts himself in a position to score, and there was no way he was going to miss that header.
He’s essentially a poor man’s Mandžo, and even though he probably doesn’t have a high ceiling, he can definitely get better and become a good depth player for the NT.
Kulenovic with a goal for Torino v Inter, match still underway.

Svaki Cast to Brando- kick butt. Now, if Dalic doesn’t give Vuskovic a fair shot to make the starting squad for WC 2026 ; that should be considered treason against your own country. Not saying he should start but man, you have to seriously give the kid some attention- Dalic smarten up!!!
He should start.
It’s comical to even consider starting guys who are having poor seasons over what he’s doing.
It’s entirely because he’s young. No other reason.
France, Spain and England regularly start young overperforming players….but for whatever reason, we have to wait until they’re well into their mid-20s before giving them a cap.
I should hope rational thoughts pervail
For WC, I say Musa on Top, and Marko Pasalic RW, home field advantage, no jet lag.
I like Pašalić as a bench option to give you some width.
But there is no way he starts with Perišić and Baturina having good seasons.
If Dalić was more of a forward thinking coach, you could justify giving Hagušić some minutes off the bench on that right side too.
Musa needed to get out of MLS. He didn’t, and understandably, he will be overlooked for a starting role. He could become a good backup for us.
When your bench options start looking good, that is a good sign.
What I find hilarious is that my post is the first one that mentions the fact that this chat string was supposed to be related to Brando and his UFC fight…I would have at least expected a comment from the other Croatian Aussie Iggy lmao
Cmon man, you know how it works: we simply hijack whatever the most recent story is to comment with whatever is topical at the time, regardless of whether that may or may not be relevant to said thread. LOL.
Tuesday 2:45pm ET
Modric vs. Moro
Pandur vs. Watford (sans Alleyen @ Man City) – a win and they’re 2 pts back of automatic promotion places (but inferior on GD – so need to be ahead on points)
I think Jagusic to Dinamo would be great for him and club. I’m curious how they would use him. Can him and Stojakovic start at same time? Jaga on the right wing and stojkovic in middle. With kule gone, Bakar is prolly more used as striker Lisica is prolly a few months from top shape, the room is less crowded with players being sold and injuries.
Yeah I would start those three in those same positions.
I wouldn’t wait on Lisica. Mono can keep you out for a while.
Dalic interview SN – he revealed what him and nose-pickers are doing
IT’S A COMPLETE F*CKING DISSASTER
HE STILL HASN”T BEEN TO GERMANY TO WATCH VUSKOVIC LMAO
Anonymous gives up – there is no point – they are clueless
#####
– The other day I was in Dortmund for the Borussia – Inter match, in the upcoming weekend most of the staff will be in Italy for the Verona – Pisa match, i.e. for the Domagoj Bradarić match , then for the Fiorentina – Bologna duel, where Marin Pongračić and Nikola Moro are , and on Monday for the Atalanta – Cremonese match for Mario Pašalić . The plan is to have a joint lunch or dinner in Italy with potential candidates for the national team, to talk, to introduce them to our plans and thoughts. All the players who are candidates, or who can come, will be there: Martin Baturina , Hrvoje Smolčić , Luka Modrić , Luka Sučić , Pašalić, Pongračić, Moro, Bradarić. Soon we will then go to Germany, then to England, after the tour in the USA, to Manchester for Joško Guardiola and Mateo Kovačić , where I will talk to their coach Guardiola about their situation ahead of the World Cup.
#####
Inter vs. Dortmund – Only Petar Sucic played (unless he was scouting Kovac to take his job?) – complete waste of time – Pero is a obviously a starter this summer
Verona vs. Pisa – both teams have fired their coaches – Semper is injured (I’m sure the nose pickers don’t know) so only Bradaric will play – what will they learn about Bradaric playing against another crap relegation side ?
Fio vs. Bologna – sure, go watch fringe Pong and Moro, too of your favourites
Atalanta vs. Cremonese – sure, go watch Mario sit on the bench
Why isn’t someone going to watch Baturina ???? He plays Napoli in the Cup in a week – doesn’t someone have to watch him ??? LMAO
Why is Dalic inviting Wedding Boy (who plays in f*cking Spain) to the lunch in Italy with all the other Serie A players ???? LMAO
“Soon we will then go to Germany, then to England, after the tour in the USA, to Manchester” – Germany makes sense – but why hasn’t he already watched Vuskovic in person – as example last weekend vs. Bayern ? Re: England – the only players we have playing there is Ivor Pandur and Sosa (Crnac is injured) – so how many people will be invited the this lunch – Pandur and a hungover Sosa ??? What’s the point ?
4 months to the WC – and Dalic and the nose pickers are still completely disorganized and lack any plan – just going around randomly without any thought
Sad
The funny thing – he thinks he’s bragging to the media that he’s doing work – but doesn’t realize how dumb he sounds
What concerns me most is that Dalic didn’t sign a new contract. If he is ready to step away after WC he is less incentivized to play new/ younger players as he doesnt need to deal with the egos and players in the fall. He might just be ride and die with the old boys and say bye bye after WC.
I have to believe Dalic is closely monitoring Vuskovic, i think everyone will get a chance in March. MLS guys might be a little off like Musa and Pasalic but if it was me, March i would experiment a bit give guys some opportunities especially in defense where he has no choice with Gvardiol. Monitor players rest of year and in my two friendlies in June its my starting line up.
I have a hard time believing Gvardiol is going to be ready for WC from what I’m reading he prolly cant start rehab for another few weeks.
Besides Gvardiol there is a lot to like I’m more encouraged with our prospects lately a lot of guys getting minutes at the right time. You can never waste a opportunity hopefully Dalic and the team gets it right.
Wouldn’t the fringe players be the ones to follow closely? Everyone knows what the stars are doing.
I would hope that he owns a television.
Hopefully he’s been closely watching what Vušković, Baturina and some of our younger strikers/wingers are doing…since many are beginning to heat up and could provide that ex-factor we are looking for.
Need to really understand how much Vusković playing in a back three vs a back four matters. Also need to understand what his defensive partners do to support him and if we have the same on the NT.
Need to understand if Baturina can simply just “plug in” to our lineup as a LW… or if there is something else we need to do to get him to play for us like he does for Como.
Also need to watch our strikers closely, as many are in the same ballpark but are very different from one another.
Lots of games to watch. Hopefully Dalić is watching.
If his TV is broken there is a former repka coach i can recall being quite handy at repairing them.
Really nice to see Valincic and Livakovic with starts (and Galesic at CB, instead of RB cover)
Based on highlights, looks like Valincic didn’t really touch the ball (easing him back in?)
Liva should have saved the Vukovar goal, but he’s not going to be 100% sharp after so much time out (did u see Liva replacement at Girona Stengen pulled his hamstring already – oh how ironic – that’s what happens when u f*ck Croatia #1)
Stojko look lively and energetic – creating a lot – good movements and uber attacking
DDB 2nd goal – that was prime Eduardo dribbling thru two defenders ! his first goal he did well to follow the Stojko play
Rumours again today that Dinamo going after Jagusic – at this stage – given his crap agent wasn’t able to get anything more than 5m (and no sell-on fee) – I think Belupo might be better off selling him to Dinamo for 5m+30% – let him play the rest of the season at Dinamo – and then sell him after the WC (in-line with Baturina fee) – not sure that’s the best for Jagusic, although now that they’ve sold Suto who is he going to create for ? Jagusic at Dinamo would probably have more than 1 G/A per game – part of Anonymous wants to see him with quality players all around him
P.S. Jagusic should only join if there is GUARANTEE he is in the Europa squad this season – it would be unfair on Stojko (especially as he seemed to have his best game today) – but that’s life/football
Jagusic going to Dinamo is not a bad move for any of the three parties.
You know he would start every game, especially with his old coach there.
Dinamo would give Jagusic more exposure, and Dinamo should be more than happy to give Slaven Belupo 5-6 million (plus any sell on clauses).
Dinamo would be able to get at least 15-20 million for Jagusic within two years.
If he goes to a team like Braga, Werder Bremen, Panathinaikos, or whoever…there’s no guarantee they start him or sell him within two seasons.
Plus, those teams don’t sell guys for any more than Dinamo do. There wouldn’t be that much of an advantage for Slaven.
With Dinamo, Slaven Belupo would get their future transfer money very soon (as Dinamo tends to sell before age 23).
It’s all over SN after a journalist asked Kovacevic if he wants to buy Jagusic after the Vukovar match lol
Sounds real – honestly think Ante Suto going to Hibbs is a decision-changer – who they sold for €500-600k (rumoured) – if I’m Jagusic I’m like WTF I stayed here to help u muppets make Europe – now u sell one of the 3 guys I can pass to – sure he still has Nesto and Mitrovic – but one injury and he’s literally by himself (as an aside Hibbs bought like 4 forwards on deadline day – including loan Dane Scarlett from Tttenham – so not sure he’s even going to play there)
The difference b/w going to Dinamo now vs. last summer ? Jagusic can say – look i’ve produced 18 G+A in 6 months – I had Braga, Werder, Athens, Turkey wanting to buy me to play me (he can embellish) so I’m only coming if I slot into the starting XI (and be part of Europa squad) [as another aside, Werder fired their coach – so if Jaga went there bc the coach wanted him – new coach comes in – could have been a Franjo/Benfica situation – risky (!)]
It’s money worth spending for Dinamo – with Liva and Valincic back – and add Jagusic to the attack – if they can make a run in Europa this year – the transfer fee for Jagusic could pay it’s back this year alone (optimistic but possible)
Let’s do it – make it happen Maminjo – Anonymous is on board !
Boban also put in an offer for Anton Matkovic !
If Dinamo can sign both him and Jagusic – they honestly have a really good chance to do something in Europa this season (and mono Lisica will be back eventually) – not saying win it – but u can see they have all the pieces – to really go on a run
Sorry – the offer for Matkovic – he would stay at Osijek until the summer – whereas Jagusic would come now
They put in an offer for Matković in this current transfer window?
The other difference b/w now and last summer is Ljubicic, Mudra and Villar have been shipped out (although the latter two only on loan for now)
Belupo selling everyone now
Agbekpornu to 2nd division Spain
