Brekalo is at it again! The kid can’t stop!
After scoring a wonderful strike in Europa League last week and a rocket from 28 yards in the Bundesliga this past weekend, the 21 year-old scored against Malmo (again) in their Europa League Round of 32 second leg Thursday night. Brekalo ripped a shot from just outside the box with his right foot to open the scoring in a match that would end 3-0 for Wolfsburg. They will now be moving onto the Europa League Round of 16.
Brekalo has now scored in three straight matches and is on the same hot streak that Ante Rebić has been on. You think Josip Brekalo doesn’t want to play at Euro 2020? He has not only geared up for a goal in three straight matches, but all three have been spectacular.
If Rebić and Brekalo keep this up, Zlatko Dalić will have some tough decisions to make in three months.

Corona virus FC are gonna win the Euro’s.
Rebic can play on the left or right, so what this means is just that Dalic has options as to the attacking lineup and a way to get players rest without sacrificing quality. Plus, when all of the Croatian forwards can play any attacking position, it is a nightmare for the opposing defense.
@Soul Champ- Brekalo and Kramaric are perfect super subs in a game we are down, or in a game where we are forced into countering.
I have been shocked over the past 2 seasons that somebody as good on the ball as Brekalo has not produced as much as I expected. His tide is turning it seems.
I really hope his situation is a Jordan/Dean Smith situation, whereas the only person able to hold Brekalo down would be the Wolfsburg system.

-a dynamic midfield
-opposite another good winger
-quality full backs
-functional striker
Having said all that Brekalo draws 2-3 defenders each time he attacks.
