After the match versus Dinamo Wednesday night in Split, chaos broke out as Torcida rushed onto the pitch in an attempt to instigate a fight the BBB. According to Dalmatinski Portal, most of the Hajduk and Dinamo players rushed to the locker room as police halted Torcida’s advance to the pitch; keeping them away from the BBB. From there, Torcida began throwing objects such as shoes, chairs, and flares at police officers while being forced back into their seats.
After being forced off the pitch, Torcida then began to instigate chaos and havoc across the city of Split. Allegedly, fires were lit in the streets once Torcida was forced out of the stadium. Due to the actions and behaviors of around 100 Torcida members, BBB were unable to leave the stadium due to security concerns. A popular Twitter account, Hooligans CZ, who documents and glorifies the actions of Ultra groups, posted videos of Torcida’s actions that can be seen here. Within this video, a rushing mob of Torcida members are shown to be hurling flares, rocks and other items. These projectiles seem to have been targeted at the police and possibly other bystanders.
Team’s highs and lows are often conveyed through the actions that fans take on the pitch. Ultimately, Hajduk’s lows are for all to see tonight as Torcida’s rampage is a collection of all the promise for this season crumbling down after recent results. Torcida’s actions are unacceptable and are just another example of how ultra and hooligan football culture can turn ugly and violent in an instant. Not only do the actions of Torcida make Hajduk’s mostly positive run at the title this season look bad, but also the HNL as a whole. The impact of Torcida’s actions will likely be felt in Croatian football as a whole, not just in Split, and not just for the HNL either.
[…] rivalstvo Torcide i BBB-a povremeno se prelilo u incidente izvan terena, uključujući sukobe navijača, provokativne prikaze i slučajeve vandalizma. Iako je velika većina navijača iz obje […]
My brother and nephew were at the game, actually both games ,being treated real good by my cousin Bruno Petkovic =U=
I have always liked the historical 110+ year old organization Hajduk, in defeat or in victory. I know I am being biased, kao a child to his drunkard parent, or a parent kao a wayward child. I still want to seem them in the best light as possible, even if that is a sin, and even if the worst is true, there is always some hope of some better potential. I will be here and wait for forever for a rising.
Rekli su mi najgore o tebi

I see some or one person taking the brunt of comments.
In their defence the Ultras did serve a purpose originally. Most were established as way to express discontent with with political parties or the ruling class.
Sadly, like all institutions it became corrupt from within. Now they are just another gang. If you inserted them into Los Angela’s they would be just another version of the Bloods or Crypts except they shoot you in the back instead of throwing rocks.
In Glasgow, if you walked into the wrong territory alone, wearing a Celtic sweater or Rangers, you will be beaten.
Gang mentality is the highest form of group cowardice, it’s to bad their energies are not directed at causes that enrich communities.
I was at Dinamo and Auxerre for Champions League qualification in 2006, the Triple B were absolutely amazing in their support.
We lost but they never gave up singing and praising the team. No need for violence.
If people want to fight they can train at a gym, take up boxing or join UFC but that would take real bravery.
Cool neutral-perspective fan VLOG of the Eternal Derby
Didn’t realize Hajduk was supposed to move to Belgrade at some pt ?
He wasn’t phases by the hooligans behaviour nor rushing the field

Can someone pls explain
Marco wearing #24 with “M. Pasalic” as name
While
Mario wearing #15 w/ “Pasalic” as name
I mean – they both have the “M.” initial – so what’s the point in having Marco where the “M.” – it doesn’t distinguish him from Mario
Serious question – there must be some Croatian logic I’m missing
But seems silly
JA neznam.
How would you have solved this unusual problem?
They can’t both have “Pasalic”, and they can’t both have “M. Pasalic”. I think their solution makes sense. The only other solution would have been printing their entire first and last name.
Then there is the man referred to on various kits not as “Rakitić” but as “I. Rakitić.” … Separating himself from the sea of players out there that also have that last name.
You could just go with their full first names only (Mario and Marco).
They could be like a couple of Brazilians.
Brilliant. Love that idea, Maminjo!
If there was only a “maminjo” jersey
I would wear that on my back 😉
Obviously Mario has seniority and age and was OG
So makes sense M for the younger one to distinguish
What else can you really do
Middle name maybe
Or “Mali” for the young one
T.M.I. For true fans , the jersey #, like Croatian conjugated verb endings, tells you all you need to know, K.I.S.
“Marinjo & Marcinjo” 😁
Last weekend, Luka Sucic returned to action for the first time after hurting his knee. He played the last 20+ minutes in a league match vs their closest rivals this season, Sturm Graz.
And earlier today, his team faced Sturm Graz again in the Austrian cup semifinal, which RB Salzburg lost 3-4. Sucic entered the game in the 55th min… based on what I see on the scoreboard, it seems he made quite an impact. He scored in the 79th min to pull his team back from 1-3 to 2-3. He also assisted on Salzburg’s third goal in the 90th min which made the final scoreline 3-4.
If anyone has clips or highlights, please post! 🙂

@Z:
I’m starting to find Ante Crnac an interesting player, and can see why you rate him. He’s tall, fast and strong, and has quite the left foot as evidenced by the 2 rockets he scored recently. And it seems he can play on the wing? Hope the guy keeps developing well at Rakow.
That is good news about Sucic, one can only hope that the knee is fully healed. I have never seen Ante Crnac play, the Polish League is broadcast on Arena sport channels, but I have never been interested. I might have a look in the next few weeks.
Is sucic on the roster in June if healthy?
Seems to me, got to include him
Him and baturina need to really start being integrated for our new look going into next campaign
Clips of his goal and assist

Interesting matchup in a few minutes@Bartolec1912, Crnac is starting today against the younger Vuskovic’s team and Luka is starting as well.
I can’t watch it unfortunately.
@StudG
Ne mogu pročitati nešto više od odlomka i koristiti neki internetski meme kao obranu.
Možda te tata treba udariti po batinama da bi ti ubacio malo posla.
@StuG
Really have you ever been in a fist fight? Fighting is between two combatants, 1v1, where you win or lose, hopefully in honourable way.
I’ve served two tours son and have had my share of fights. Luckily I found God and left that nonsense behind.
What you call fighting is gang mentality which is the greatest form of cowardice that can be.
If you think throwing rocks is tough or using weapons then we need to sit down and have a chat.
You said the people here complaining should watch women’s football, well maybe 🤔 you’ve never heard of how many innocent people get hurt.
If someone’s child was to be killed because some retard throw a rock like he was stoning Stephen would you think 🤔 otherwise?
All these pathetic little children are playing a dangerous game. Nothing like 1000 sucker punches to show how tough you are.
Torcida wash still massive wimps being afraid of the authorities. If you’re going throw down why not take out the cops?
Because they are absolutely spineless.
Using them as a shield pretending they are coming and then throwing objects like it’s a women’s softball league utter garbage.
Triple B and all the ultras across the globe that go beyond being super fans are hooligans. They don’t love football and if we’re ever caught alone would be gutless.
Way too much to read from a Simp like you.
That was the funniest part
They storm the field throwing crap – then as soon as the cops start running toward them from the other end – they ran away like little scared cats back to their seats, lol
The opposite of brave and tough
Also – funny the first guy running on the field – leading the charge – is some pot belly guy with his shirt rolled up – so we could see his fat stomach – who did he think he was intimidating with that ? lol
As a whole how did Perišić look out there? Noticeably slower? Apprehensive?
I realize he didn’t save the game but like someone said below he got back from a major knee surgery in his mid 30s….
Is there hope for an impactful Perisic at euros?
Maminjo said it right, publicly
Shaming them and their families would be a bigger punishment then a lot
Same same, mostly young Guys who need something to do not just fight. It’s a Normal stage for a strong young man who doesn’t have a path and led right
Hopefully they can right the ship
But years and years of disappointment without much cause for celebration for hajduk will exacerbate it all
Again, Toronto maple leaf fans with Croatian anger and stubbornness;)
Embarrassing Dida is not a good thing;) use that method;)
speed is not problem with ACL injury. ability to cut is problem.
This makes sense
He does rely on that
But heck even if he can make some fast runs and crosses still it could help us
Sosa has the cross but lacks the overall speed and power of Ivan still
And with that some of his fight
The flanks will be a bit of a question mark
But there is still enough tools to compete on both sides if Dalić does it right
Perisic got on the last 15 minutes (plus injury time of 6) so about 20 mins.
Don’t think was apprehensive…he was surrounded the second he got the ball as he is the only Hajduk player that has any ability on the ball….. He had a few long balls…crosses…even outjumped his man for a header over the bar….not bad for first action off a devestating injury.
I love Perisic (even if he is a Hajduk guy)….and even went to his coffee shop in Omis in the summer because of him…lol.
A shame he got hurt, he’s after Luka our best NT guy. Will see what happens the next two months if he can get into shape. Hajduk is done now so not many big games and intensity for him to help prepare for Euros.
PS little brekalo…what a twerp….did absolutely nothing…..and sold his soul to the devil so to speak going to Hajduk…and in the end wins nothing.
Things like this happen all over the world. If stuff like this bothers you, maybe you should start watching women’s football. I don’t agree with regular people being hurt, but if the boys want to fight, let them fight.
Both are very bad and embarrassing.
Guess you forgot the Molotov cocktail the Greek fans through at the Croatian fans in 2011 ? Luckily it didn’t get over the plastic divider…
In my opinion there are a number of ways to stop Torcida or for that matter Bad Blue Boys, Armada, and that is to introduce harsher sanctions on Hajduk or any other HNL club, and I do not mean financial. Financial sanctions do not work, what is needed is deduction of competition points or even demotion to second or third division.
Hajduk club committee has been tolerating various disturbances from Torcida for decades and have failed to act despite numerous fines from UEFA and HNS. The main reason for this is that they are scared of physical retribution and it’s not only the club officials that are scared but also the police, city politicians, security guards at the games, referees and general public.
Every time large number of pyrotechnics are set off (for those that watch Hajduk regularly this usually starts around the 56 and 78 minutes respectfully) and we are talking here anything upwards of 50 which occurs pretty much at every Hajduk match home or away, the match should be abandoned, and the match result registered as a 3 – 0 win for the opposing team. The same applies to racist chants or banners.
The other option is to ban Torcida from attending any matches. Yes, some will get in with the general public but importantly they will not be able to gather in large groups. These thugs are brave in large groups, however when on their own they are gutless.
Thirdly serious and repeat offenders need to be identified, named and shamed in the media, given prison sentences and life bans from attending matches. We need to remove these hooligans form our stadiums so that true fans and families with children can attend the matches without the fear of being abused or injured by these thugs.
The heavy handed approach won’t work.
Croats aren’t timid Westerners who will get scared and fall in line.
I’m no fan of these Torcida hooligans, but the issue is that they are Croats and Croats are far more stronger and resilient and anti-authority than your average person.
You do this to a more amenible or cowardly person (like an Australian or a Canadian) and it will work like a charm. The COVID measures from a couple years back showed us this. But you have to take a different approach with these hooligan Croats.
The only thing that might work in your list is the naming and shaming part. Put their photos in the church bulletin every week haha.
Its easy.
1.Close the stadium to fans. Open it back up when the fans ( Torcida ) pay for the damages they have done. If that bankrupts the club. so be it.
2. Fire the stadium security for letting flares in. If they are not doing their job, you dont need them
3. Arrest anybody that has been identified by camera, Set a high bond and dont let them out.
4. Anybody identified, contact their employer, school, punish them that way.
Now aussies or Canucks are cowardly compared to the “tough!” American Maminjo?
If your country is so tough why is it being run by AIPAC?
No. I’d say all three are about the same (depending on where you are from in each country).
Texans, Floridans, some Bible belt States and Albertans (from Canada) are probably the least likely to fall in line. But these places make up only about 10-15% of the entire population of these countries.
less likely to “fall in line” and get a life-saving vaccine and truly pwn the libs by subsequently, you know, DYING and shit, lel.
I’m ashamed to be a Hajduk fan after what happened in Split last night. These thugs need to be stopped – I’d actually support Hajduk getting points deducted or even getting demoted (much as it would hurt) if that’s what it takes to stop these idiots longer term.
A nice welcome home present from Torcida for Perisic on his first match back – he must be wondering why he bothered to come back after that.
We need a revamp of the board with competency and structure so they work to move the club to go forward not backwards.
It wasn’t long ago I was openly stating I was hoping for Hajduk to have a very successful season and that they win the league. It’s better for our HNL and it brings more competition.
I changed my mind after seeing the true hatred from Torcida, the open lack of respect from certain players towards their opponents and their opponents fans, cheering for the Greek team to beat a Croatian team, the violence and public destruction…those aren’t fans and players don’t respect them, they respect the fans that support the club, they appreciate the fans that show up to away games and there’s no better fan base than the Hajduk fans…by a long shot…but often times their ultras destroy the atmosphere because of their stupidity!
Hooligans aren’t fans; they’re criminals!
With regards to Hajduk players, I feel bad that they live in a pressure cooker, having to deal with mismanagement, having to deal with aggressive people that have little soccer knowledge but they demand the players results while the club continues to be dysfunctional. This season is just a true reflection of the disorganized and blind media and those that run the club…they should have been in 1st place but they go out and buy players that aren’t capable to be difference makers! They support poor behaviours from certain players, they have a phenomenal young team and yet we barely see them presented into the senior team and then at the end of the day they blame the HNS, they blame the refs, they blame everyone but themselves…year after year!
I’d be interested to see someone very capable, take over that club and push all the scoundrels out! There’s too many headlines and not enough accountability at Hajduk!
i will write in english so you understand. last night was bad. i read above and you are mad because hajduk fans do not cheer for other HRV clubs when they play in europe. may i ask if you are new to soccer. zvezda fans do not cheer for partizan. manchester united fans do not cheer for manchester city or liverpool. juventus does not cheer for milano. nobody in germany cheers for bayern.
also, what lack of respect from players towards their opponents and their opponents fans? this happens all the time. i think you are writing about livaja? yes? ok, that is ok. but if you mad about that are you also mad when your team and fans do the same?
i am dinamo fan, but last place in world i would ever be is with BBB or torcida. they all trash.
Hit the nail on the head Slavonac (mainly regarding the second part to the comment)
Torcida nothing but a bunch of idiots. Gives me pleasure that Hajduk has another failing season. They should be shipped off to the Serbian league.
At the end of the day both teams wear the grb on their badge.
