Germany just too good in the end. We could not keep up with them in the second half.
As expected, Denmark beat Iceland in a close encounter with the Danes pulling away only in the last ten minutes.
We have a number of niggling injuries to some key players so it will be hard against Iceland but hopefully we can win and get the Bronze medal.
Great effort to reach the SF, however we will most likely play Iceland for the bronze ? Denmark is just too good for everyone these days and playing at home they will win the title barring some major catastrophe.
Germany has beaten us twice a couple of weeks ago in two friendlies and is a strong favorite to do so again in the SF.
Also, good news is that by reaching the SF we have qualified automatically for next year’s World Championship and, hence avoiding tricky qualifiers.

Ohh nice, good job! Yesterday all of our hopes ended in the Aus Open (in all doubles/mixed doubles comp etc) so nice to see us continue in this one at least !
