The Western Conference semifinals has been competitive as expected. Golden State has struggled to shoot through various stages of this series. Without being able to get out in transition consistently, they are being forced to play extensively as a half-court offense. That was proven in game three from a 99-89 loss in Memphis. They shot six for twenty-six from three-point range, along with seventeen turnovers. Andrew Bogut was limited to just 22 minutes once again. Foul trouble continues to plague him against Marc Gasol. The size of Memphis has proven to be a difference maker so far. Bogut had just two points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
Golden State bounced back in a major way on Monday. They avoided dropping into being on the receiving end of a three to one game deficit. Stephen Curry scored 33 points and took control like any MVP would in essentially a must-win scenario. Memphis shot just 37 percent in a 101-84 defeat. The Warriors defense was outstanding throughout the night in forcing Memphis to shoot jump shots. Gasol was forced to take difficult shots in making only seven of nineteen attempts, which is a surprising amount for a player of his caliber. Bogut contributed with four points, nine rebounds, and three blocks through playing 30 minutes. After a strong performance, the seven footer had X-Rays taken on his ribs. It’s worth noting that Bogut fractured his ribs last season and was forced to miss the playoffs. Thankfully for Golden State, Bogut’s ribs are reportedly fine.
The series continues tonight in Golden State for game five. It moves back to Memphis on Friday for game six. If game seven is necessary, it will take place in Golden State on Sunday. Despite this series being competitive, it has been somewhat disappointing so far. None of the games have truly gone down to the wire. All four games have ended in definitive fashion. That trend should end sooner rather than later. These teams are too evenly matched with Mike Conley healthy again.

Rakitic last season scored only 5 more goals than me and I don’t even play soccer.
You got any cool recent pic of soccer players standing around holding up their thumb up, I really miss them stories, also do you got any Manzukic photos, I really like the ones where he holds his ear because he can’t hear the peoples, when I grow up I wanna hold my ear to listen to listen to the people too, I also want a birds nest on my head hairstyle just like him, because he’s cool, because if he lived in new york, all the girls would go after him even if he wasn’t a soccer player but instead lived in his moms basement or worked at subway.
Big game 5 tonight. Bogut has held his own against Z-Bo and Gasol. I still see this series going 7. Actually, I had all 4 series going 7 but Houston is a mess.
Warriors – Clippers will be a war.
Cleveland over Chicago in 7
Atlanta over Washington in 7
Warriors over Memphis in 7
Clipps over Houston in 6
I thought the Warriors would close out in 5.
