The boys are almost back in action! Manager Zlatko Dalić has officially released his 29-man roster for the Vatreni’s upcoming Nations League matches in June. Croatia will begin their UNL campaign against Austria on June 3rd.
As expected, the roster contains some fresh, young faces. Petar Musa, Martin Erlić, Josip Šutalo, and Nediljko Labrović have all been presented an opportunity to make their international debuts with the Vatreni next month. Don’t be surprised to see Musa get some very valuable minutes with the team, due to his magnificent run of form in the Portuguese first tier. Although they have already debuted, other youngsters such as Luka Sučić, Lovro Majer, and Josip Stanišić will most likely see the pitch as well.
With the 2022 World Cup less than a year away, this tournament will be very telling as to who will make Dalić’s 23-man roster come November.
