Another match, another disappointment for Dinamo Zagreb on the European stage. It is becoming more and more clear that Dinamo will not be advancing from the group stages this season after their 1-0 defeat to Romania’s Astra FC, a team they beat 5-1 at Maksimir in September.
Dinamo was not without their chances, but Soudani, Angelo Henriquez, and Wilson Eduardo were all unable to capitalize and finish the play.
The best chance came from Henriquez when he tried to put away a rebound on an open goal, but pushed it just wide.
The Modri have one last chance to save their pride when they host Celtic FC on Dec. 11.
But all was not lost in HNL’s attempt to showcase its talent to the world.
HNK Rijeka have become the pride of Croatian football and defeated Standard Liege with a score of 2-0 to take a step closer to a European spring.
Moises scored the eventual game winner in the 25th minute to make it 1-0. The 26-year-old Brazilian has scored four league goals this season with 10 appearances for the club.
Andrej Kramaric scored Rijeka’s insurance goal in the 34th minute from the penalty spot and Rijeka secured three points.
Rijeka is currently third in their group with seven points, but remain only one point behind Sevilla FC, of whom they will play on Dec. 11.

It is nice to see another team other than Dinamo have a prized prospect, atleast the Zagreb chief won’t be profiting off this transaction
Juve might actually be good for him.
They’re a very fiscally responsible (cheap) club compared to other big name clubs. They got Llorente for free, Pirlo for free, Pogba for 1M Euro, Vidal for 10M Euro, Tevez for 10M euro…Generally, if Juventus ever spend any money on a player, odds are he’s gonna actually play. It’s very unlikely that they drop 6-8M Euro on Kramaric and make him ride the pine.
Also, Juventus has a history of letting young players develop and play (Vidal, Pogba, etc) and they’re very successful in developing young players. I would definitely rather have him go to Juve over Tottenham or Chelsea, that’s for sure.
apparently Kramaric and Juventus are close to a transfer. the two clubs have already agreed on fees
Rijeka is gonna sell Kramarić and use some of that money to buy Rebić.
Dinamo lose but pick up Alexandru Matel at RB, will anyone be looking at that move? 😀
I hope Inter.
Mancini seems keen on players from former Jugo.
Forza Fiume!
Stari used to rock out on Kantrida back in the day.
To see Kantrida hosting European matches is awesome.
Kramarić is a Krafty finisher. Where ever he goes he needs to start. He is in his prime and sitting on the bench would be most detrimental.
Šuker is the”Isiah Thomas” of HNS.
All i care about is that the HNS gets cleaned up and the national team gets support from fans like it once did such nice players this generation mix is best croatia have had in years Vets and rookies mix but HNS is f**cking it up Look at talent depth

would love to see him and Kovacic paired together at Inter. I think being around Mateo and his football IQ would do wonders plus they could build their repore for international duty
Anybody interested in a little betting? My money is on him going to England, maybe Spurs or Arsenal? Some say Italy, probably Inter.
Kramaric is as good as gone.
Sharbini has surprised me this season. I thought it was a wate bringing him back but he’s setting up a lot of plays and scoring goals as well. He was a good pick up for them.
As for Kramamric, so excited to see where he’s going to in the future. Would be surprised to see him in a Rijeka jersey for another season. Would like him to stay and help the team go farther in Europa, but it’s just not realistic.
I saw the Rijeka-game. Great first half, second half was less good. Andrej Kramaric is probably technically our best striker since Davor Suker. Sharbini and Jugovic were excellent too. Great to see Mocinic is coming back, dude played a decent game after his long injury.
It’s a shame that Feyenoord won against Sevilla.
Rijeka would’ve been in a much better position to advance, even if they lost against Sevilla (since Feyenoord’s next game is on the road in Liège).
Now Rijeka needs a win. Oh well. At least we know that they’ll come out and play next game.
Bravo Rijeka!!
