There’s not much left to say. Another Champions League match for Dinamo. And another loss.
This time is was at the hands of PSG in Paris, in a 4-0 defeat of the Croatian champions. Dinamo did not have much of a chance and did not fire one shot on target. Paris Saint-Germain, however, managed 16 shots, with seven being on frame. Dinamo now find themselves four games into a second straight Champions League campaign without a goal scored and -10 in the goal differential category.
The only bright spot: 16 yeat-old Alen Halilović played the last seven minutes of this match; his second straight (quasi) appearance in the Champions League.
Dinamo Zagreb-PSG Goals

Thank you for the information, Ivan Markota.

My all-star league idea???? You really think I am serious about it???? Cool, with me if you do. It means I am really doing a number on some of you.
Let me ask you this????? What has the Balkan League done for Croatian basketball. Cibona is in the worst shape it has ever been and our national team is no better today than it was before the Jadranska Liga began. And Zadar (Bjezigrad) is a total mess. The only success story is Cedevita, but that is because they now have an owner willing to invest in the product.
I’ll go back to this regarding a Balkan League. If I, as a Hajduk’s official #1 fan (or insert your own club) can not travel to Beograd and be assured of my safety at a game, then that league is not worth having. Cro and Serbia are about to play two games next year….and guess what, there will be no organized away trip for fans. Why???? Because their safety could not be secured. Listen, if playing in a reincarnation of the old yugo league is what you people want, then may I suggest you go find some serb music, serb bars and go hang with them.
Plus, the HNL has not hit rock bottom yet. Wait until we enter the EU and our players are free to leave at age 18 unless already signed to a contract by ages 16 or 17. The poaching will begin. I can live with a bad HNL, because we will still produce players. The Hajduks and Dinamos of the world wont ever be competitive in European competitions, but that is fine with me. I enjoy watching the stars and the big clubs in the Champions League, not small tiny fish.
@shinobi
glad someone thinks a Balkan Super League is a good idea
@ Mr. Black
It was said that Mandzukic was “sick” before the game
@zuva
You always critisize the HNL for being a joke of a league, (which it is), but as soon as someone mentions a balkan super league, you give them stick.
And your solution is to have a 4 team Cro league made up of dinamo, hajduk, rijeka and osijek, which is more laughable and wouldnt even be allowed to happen, minimum is 8 teams i believe.
I used to think you were being sarcastic about this, but iv’e heard it from you more times than i can count, which makes me believe you were serious?
I think you like the HNL being a basket case, so you can rip on it and make silly little remarks about it to get a laugh.
At one stage i also was against this balkan supa league, but now i think its the only option if things are to improve.
Privatisation from rich tycoons will never happen in a million years, i wouldn’t even own a HNL club for free with the way things stand.
You may say the price is too high, but you cant deny that it would be beneficial for the clubs involved longer term.
You said more trouble than its worth, i say its gotta be better than with the way things stand or more scary than that is the the way the HNL is heading.
Oh yeah, anonymous is right “puppet suker” and “GPS keleva” is way played out and stale, first few times was funny but now it just sounds lame.
I’m sure you a man of your intelligence can come up with something better….?
@Senjski
It seems like he’s really cleaned up that part of his game lately. At the Euro’s he wasn’t flopping either.
@Poglavnik
funny you say that. I kept expecting to see him flip and flop all over the ground but not today. The Chelsea announcers kept giving him praise. He is the King of Donetsk.
I’m just back from work. I noticed Mandzukid didn’t play today in their win against Lille. Is he injured? Does anybody knows more.
Let the Spanish media say about Modric what they want. He is still a great player. His first half against Dortmund wasn’t impressive, but normally you have a second half to do better. With all the top players they have, you don’t get the chance to start the second half. And don’t forget Alonso is a very popular player in Spain, to play Alonso out of the teamn Modric have to be two times better. But I don’t worry about Modric, I remember even Davor Suker didn’t play always at Real Madrid and that was before he scored 6 times in France 98.
Srna’s the shit!
Especially since he’s stopped going to ground as much as he used to.
Srna was a beast today. Beautiful passing and constantly running and in the play. Shame they lost at the final play of the game.
CELTIC 2- Barcelona 0 BRAVO CELTIC
I get drunk with Zoran Jelenkovic and Grdovic on some nights does that make a celeb hunter LOL
Well i wasn’t too embarrassed to bother Tiffany Milbrett for a picture about 7-8 years ago and I sure as hell wouldn’t be embarrassed to bother Alex! 🙂
Srna is a RIGHT BACK NOT RM
@Poglavnik………nothing is more creapier than grown adult males asking for autographs from a celebrity female or posing for pictures with a celebrity female.
I really feel sorry for jersey-chasing, jock-sniffing, celebrity-hounds.
@ Ziva guys like us were right about kelava even that italian french wap frog legs agreeshttp://sportske.jutarnji.hr/michel-platini-savjetuje-modre—sto-prije-maknite-ivana-kelavu–on-vam-je-najlosiji-igrac-/1064911/
@Ziva
Would jersey-chasing, or jock-sniffing be used in a negative connotation if it was with say, Alex Morgan?
@Ziva
Will you kiss me ?
Right? That jersey-chasing Ibrahimovic needs to leave Suker alone and give him back his jersey.
Well, lookie here…..the spanish media beginning to question Modric. Getting abused for his performance (or lack of) on Tuesday.
I hate to gloat, but where are all the homers who were calling GPS Kelava the next national team GK. Another case of people liking a player because he plays for a certain club or hoping/wanting him to do well instead of actual judging his performance on the field.
By the way, check this out…its jersey chasing at its finest…..http://sportske.jutarnji.hr/dok-su-modri-tugovali–ibrahimovic-i-suker-razmijenili-dresove-na-parku-princeva/1064953/
why is leko and pokrivac suspended ?
@ Ivan Markota.
Thanks brother. Looks like the communist Obongo won, and I’m done here. You have a good real estate agent in Hrvatska
@Mishko
(thumbs up)
Malo nas je, al’ nas ima
This talk about this cocksucker Sammir disgusts me. That pos should go to Russia and hopefully that pos Mamic goes with him.
Ziva stop saying “puppet Suker”…you sound so gay
Kelava is terrible
rumors of a Ukranian club that wants Sammir… i believe it was Metalist. Hopefully Dinamo cashes in aka Mamic has a new yacht and hes gets the fakkk outttttt
maybe if badelj was still there…but at-least he is starting to become an impact at HSV. Future star for our national team as well…hopefully..
Don’t kid urself ana even without “chumpmir” dinamo still loses
Everything is going according to plan, 10th Champion league loss in a row with chumpmir, glad Ibrahimovic assisted on 4 goals, As long as chumpmir is on the team, they will not win a match as it should be.
Sammir was sh*t against PSG
Sammir nije Damir we havent forgotten
Someone has posted this link before, but we may not be too far from another Balkan League – http://www.sbnation.com/we-kick-balls/2012/10/10/3484688/balkan-super-league-possibly-on-tap-for-2015
I don’t get frustrated about the HNL. I am OK with the HNL being a crap league. Nothing will improve for the long term in that league, especially not with Puppet Suker and Mamic running the show.
And just wait until we eneter the EU and all of the young talent at the club level can decide to leave at age 18 if offered better deals by other clubs in EU countries. If i understand the law correctly, if these 16 and 17 year old players are not given a pro contract by age 18, they will be free to leave their clubs without any form of significant compensation to their clubs.
well then lets hope some Russian and/or Arab oil tycoons buy some clubs in the HNL because thats the only way that would happen
Forgot get rid of Mamic from Croatia
@ balakn League you dont need that we need RAD RED I DISIPLINU but Croatia is falling apart as a country and that National pride from the 90s is gone trust me, The 12 teams in the league need to be run by a private owner who has money and will have a western world approch look at the Ukraine and Russian leagues, ex,Shaktar were Srna plays when he went there in 2003 it was crap club that did not win anything look now top team 2009 Uefa cup champs why because Rich buy bought the club and brought WORK DISIPLINE AND Stability.
What is your suggestion then?
@Elcroato……..the previous three games for Modric were against garbage teams or second-tier teams. And the reason Mourinho is playing him right now is because he has something at stake with Modric. He is the one who brought him to Real Madrid and is trying to justify that move.
Balkan League……you can have it. More trouble than its worth.
Im almost wishing dinamo lost that last qualifier to maribor :'(
I dont know about you guys..but this all the more reason for there to be a Balkan league.
Once teams like Dinamo Zagreb make it to europe..its like they are a deer in headlights. The HNL is way too weak of a league. I was excited a few weeks ago when Slaven Belupo was right behind Dinamo…but then….now you can just give the title to them (which i dont mind because im a dinamo fan but still).
Ziva, I think you are mistaken. Modric has played the last three games for Real in the DM position. He has dictated the pace of the game well from there and has been involved in lots of successful attacks. He has also shown good defensive quality. In today’s game he was not to fault for the first half goals. They came from Borussia’s defense and where lobbed deep into the area where the strikers loom. If anything, Real’s defense is to fault. As to why he was substituted, maybe Mou wanted a little more aggression in midfield. I don’t think that he would have played three consecutive games if where not in favor with the coach.
I caught some of Dinamo’s game and Halilovic came on in the last 8 minutes. The few touches he had seemed a class above his teammates. He brilliantly initiated a one-two with Sammir, but Sammir blundered on the return pass. He was also brought down hard on the right wing after braking through. He was also open a few times in positions that would have allowed him to approach goal, but Sammir and Ademi didn’t pass to him.
SAMMIR > MESSI
@ Ziva Thats about right and had a lead of 1-0 and lost 7-1 to lyon second staight season worst team back to back wow.
Well UEFa got what it wanted…..Platini wanted to gie the smaller teams a chance at competing. If you count last year and this year’s CL campaigns, through 10 games Dinamo has lost all 10 and been outscored 3-32 (someone do the match to confirm).
@ Ziva Kuzim te ali,he is not built for this team in my opnion, It took him tim to get into tottenham team i remeber jes not the brightest of people it takes time but in Marid time is money aswell did you watch today that game i watched it Ramos Di maria Ronaldo lost so many balls never passed the ball or look for Modric i am not making excuses but i thnik Madrid is too big for Modric. look at Rakitic he is King in Sevilla we croatians are not meant for big clubs in my opinion.
@19Tornado65……….well, Ozil, Ronaldo, Benzema have all produced at real madrid. Modric is the new guy and he has to show he was worth the money and hype coming in. The pressure is on him to adapt his game to Real Madrid and not the other way around. So far, he has not lived up to expectations.
No need to make excuses for Modric. The reason he is not getting consistent playing time is because he is not performing at the level that is/was expected from him. So far, he has played very well against the smaller sides, but has not shown much against the better sides. We saw that today.
But he hasnt played well last 2 champions league games when you play for madrid or a big club its not about the passes stupid fans think if you have 10 shoots on goal like ronaldo and di maria do that you are a great player modric will never have 10 shots a game, i like how Mordic plays too me he’s fine but to the world he is not good engough for madrid like in Barca Inesta and Xavi are just as dangerous as messi but Modric will never get that status in Madrid in Marid its Ozil Ronaldo Benzema,
@ ziva why is modric is a bust ? he’s not getting playing time, but for the most part, i hear he’s played decenlty well whenever he sees the pitch. i think he’s too talented a player not to be effective if he’s out there
@ Ziva by winter transfer window when they do summer ignings best and worst of.
Modricu Bjezi iz Reala ti si nitko ni nista tu dok mama boy ronaldo and all the other Selfish igraci are there Real will never be better than Barca.
Dinamo Dinamo If they wanted to compete in LP The following should have been done Buy Klasnic fucking morons Bring kramaric back from lokomotiva sell badelj after champions league not suspend Leko buy Pavlovic from Nk zagreb Kelava is a joke hes the keeper i would have got Rodic from Belupo I am not a Dinamo Fan im a Croatia fan it bothers me how everyone laughs at croatia domestic clubs
My 2012 team LP Kelava-Vrsaljko Pavlovic Vida Simunic(left back) Leko Badelj Tomecak Sammir Kovacic Klasnic. Kramaric Halilovic Cop Ademi bench.
How long before the bust label gets thrown around about Modric at Real Madrid?
Modric pulled at halftime.
Here’s one thing I learned from actually going to the games: if you weren’t an active participant in what happened, shut the fuck up. If you weren’t there, shhhhh
And it’s 1-0 PSG.
Well let the floodgates open
link anyone?
Dinamo is passing well. Almost scored.
The PSG fans are notorious for their violence across Europe.
This was a powder keg waiting to explode.
So to get this right, the BBB won’t go watch the games in protest of Mamic but will go all the way to Paris to scrap with the frenchies? If they had not been arrested, would they have gone to the match? Does that mean the protest is over, or just suspended so that a nice little scrap could occur?
Fucking idiots.
I am a Hajduk fan but if I was in Paris I would Help the BBB pound on some frogs and their non-french allies LOL.
I’ve got $10 on a draw, and it’s paying 6.25 to 1.
Imo Modri!!!
I just hope BBB beat the living shit out of those lame ass PSG fans… Fuckin dirtbags
@Ziva
He did, that’s why he wound up in Marseilles, not Paris.
Hey, they scored twice against Real Madrid last time. I say they have a goal in them here somewhere.
@Ziva – he did, but it’s in French and he doesn’t know French. It will do no good for him.
Idiots on both sides looking for a fight.
Can anyone confirm if GPS Kelava has activated his GPS for the game?
There was a clash between the BBB and a section of the PSG fans last night.
A bunch arrested, one Croat was seriously injured.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1215640/psg-and-zagreb-fans-clash-in-paris?cc=5901
The biggest question to me (and possibly the only question) is can this bunch even score a goal in this year’s competition?
