European football is back and so is the Hajduk everyone knows (and maybe love).
The Bili traveled to Estonia to take on JK Sillamae Kalev and were slated to take home an easy three points, but ended with a very disappointing 1-1 draw.
Hajduk took the lead early thanks to a penalty kick that Mijo Caktaš cleverly chipped in as the goalkeeper helplessly dove to his right.
The early goal should have given the Croatians confidence, but the Sillame Kalev, who came in second place in a league that allows semi-pro and amateur teams to compete, stayed disciplined against the more-talented Hajduk and kept the match close.
It took only 40 minutes, but Estonians found a way to beat Lovre Kalinić in goal and tie the match before the first half’s end.
Hajduk was unable to crack the Estonian code and were left with an unsatisfying draw.
Hajduk will have a chance to redeem themselves next Thursday, June 9 at Poljud. A win will send them to the next qualifying round, and a loss will force them to focus on nothing but the HNL for the next year.
But Croatia did not go without a win this afternoon as NK Lokomotiva fulfilled everyone’s expectations and beat the Welsh club, Airbus UK Broughton F.C.
Broughton came in second place in the Welsh league but were expected to fall greatly to the mighty Lokosi.
The “Wingmakers” put up a fight and gave the Lokosi a brief scare by going up 1-0 after 27 minutes, but Damir Sovšić had enough and tied the match in the 48th minute.
The wind was at their backs now and Lokomotiva opened the floodgates of score, putting two more goals in before the match’s end.
Mirko Marić and Marko Kolar found themselves on the scoresheet, scoring in the 61st and 68th minute respectively.
The next match will take place at Kranjčevićeva on Thursday, July 9.
Looks like the roach is out and about… Better get to work!
S kime ti govoriš, pajdo? Ti si Gambine jedino vidio na TV. 🙂
You are so fucked buddy, you don’t know shit!
Holy Spirit, is that you? Cast the armored grasshoppers.
Take it easy Doktor I’m swinging past Rijeka soon.
Rijeka has been ruled by communists for close to a century. It is a yugoslav, communist, serbian and muslim stronghold.
The Croatian city of Rijeka should have a plague cast on it by the Almighty of the Old Testament, with the few Croats living there being spared. Naturally.
Armada87, I am a Croatian with a Domovnica and Putovnica and I grew up “na Kozali”. I have a house near Novi Vinodolski. I was born in Yugoslavia, grew up watching my dad referee ” na kantridi ‘ and I watched Drazen Petrovic live when he played for Yugolslavia against Canada in St Catherines, Ontario. He was just a teenager. My cousin played for the 94 and 96 Croatian National soccer team.
I’m not going to stand here and beat my chest saying Im a “veliki hrvat” I dont like ultra nationalists. Be they Cetniks, Ustase, Serbians, Croatians, Bosnians etc. I wasn’t raised that way.
For the most part, people are good, I dont carry blind hatred for them regardless of where they are born or who their parents are. I wont paint all Serbians with the same brush much like I don’t paint all Croatians with the same brush.
If thats the way somebody chooses to live, then thats their choice. If my lifestyle shoehorns me in your minority group, whatever it is I dont care, so be it.
Ziva,
Sorry. One of them = a criminal POS. Sure, even I’ll admit he’s good entertainment and even I laughed out loud at some of the things he said yesterday but at a certain point, all I could do was shake my head.
I really like that Brlekovic guy though.
Mario Pašalić now on loan at Monaco what do you guys think good or not?
cries how he loves the former yugo.
Anyone who supports Mamic needs to question themselves.
Good point…….I wouldn’t call him a commie, I would call him an equal opportunist criminal. He waves himself around the flag when he needs to and the next day he cried how loves the former yugo.
You guys keep saying commies and separating Mamic. Do you not believe he’s one of them?
Hajduk Split was big favourites in betting and they drew. They have a Ukraine international who didn’t play. NK Lokomotiva had a good win but they won’t last long.
you forgot jadan…….its jadan, mali i nemocan!!!!!!!!! Just like the workforce in Dalmacija!
Bravo Mamic, samo naprid.
@ Rijecanin
CZ lost, ey? WHO CARES!!! I take it you are part of Rijeka’s largest “minority” group if your wondering about that team? Maybe I’m wrong and they are no longer the “minority”
Regarding the games yesterday…
They don’t call them mali i nemocan for nothing…
The Commie Yugos are seeing in Mamic what is really going on in themselves. It’s called projection.
Sweet there’s a guy called Marko Kolar, shares my surname hehe
🙂
As much as I don’t like Mamic, it’s hard to cheer for these Communists/Serbs as they try to take him down.

Mamic is so rehearsed when it comes to this shit – nothing bothers him. Great entertainment.

Enjoy!
I wonder if the Mamic bust comes now prior to swastika hearing
due to pressure and a condition for Croatia not to be suspended from Euro
