Hajduk vs Gorica (3-0)
Hajduk were keen to avoid slipping up to Gorica for a second time in a row this season, especially after Gorica’s last minute stunner to beat Hajduk 2-1 back in September. Karlogan’s squad left nothing up for grabs at the Poljud on Saturday in a dominant 3-0 victory over Gorica. As for Gorica, the 3-0 defeat will come as the biggest loss for the club so far this season. Despite suffering the 3-0 defeat on Saturday, Gorica remain the joint second best defensive unit. In terms of goals allowed Gorica is tied with Rijeka at 12, Hajduk has the least at 9 goals allowed. Hajduk continue their seemingly unstoppable run, having won 7/7 of their last games since Karlogan returned to Split. Karlogan’s Hajduk are dominant on both sides of the ball, conceding only one goal and scoring thirteen since his take over. Former Osijek captain and midfielder, Mihael Žaper, scored his first goal at Hajduk this season off of a free kick that he headed into the back of the net. Hajduk remain top of the league with a seven point gap between them and 2nd place Rijeka. Hajduk have played two games more than Dinamo and a game more than Rijeka.
1st Brennan Johnson right around Gvardiol
Now Leon Bailey right around Gvardiol for a goal
Pep needs to show Gvardiol footage and get him to rectify this “over-aggressive positioning”
Odds to win group (pinnacle.com):
Spain -138
Italy +285
Croatia +410
Albania +2000
Thanks GBVH. Past history might suggest that Croatia maybe undervalued as usual.
Well, they are digging up a bunch of roads in Rijeka laying new infastructure so it might be a good time to do it
There’s a womens nations league? Watching Romania v Croatia atm, heh:

1 – 0 away win, finished second in group. Looks like Nenad Gracan is doing a good job with our women’s team.
How about that, maybe split will hold on to first place through the whole season. Dinamo has played two less games, but is 9 points behind.
Who is this Robert Ramsak kid? Plays and captains for bayern u19 as a 17 year old
Has 5 goals and 2 assists in 10 games
Has German and Slovenian citizenship
But I saw this on Facebook
Related to zlatko himself apparently
It’s cool people want to leave Germany potentially for us.
Makes me wonder if we are that much more attractive these days or are seen as an easier career move or the mighty Deutschland is just lost it’s bite that much
🇭🇷 Kapetan je Bayernove U19 momčadi iako mu je samo 17 godina, a njegov otac tvrdi kako je Robertova majka koja je Hrvatica u daljnjem rodu s izbornikom Zlatkom Dalićem.
This is wishful thinking by people. He might be cousins with Dalic but they dont know each other.

That’s awesome
I think stuff like this is now the next big piece needed to keep us in the top 10 and to not be seen as an outlier punching above are weights
You know we can be harsh on some of the tactics or lineups or subs dalic has done but I know he has been big for us and has really helped to take us to the next level and I hope even if he does leave, that some of the spirit and good juju is left behind
I think I want to jump on the Kek train if Dalić does leave
That’s indeed if kek leaves Slovenia
I think it could work
What say you guys?
Good to see we are catching up to the modern world with facilities. Only 20 yrs behind the rest of Europe
“The rest of europe” last had a war in 1945…
Since he is Slovene, Kek, I think that would be his preferred destination, but if they let go of him, I would be very on board! When they had their first parting of ways, they said it was a mutual agreement, after he failed to take Slovenia to the Euros in 2012, after leading them to the World cup in 2010 with a victory over Algeria in their group, and close to almost taking down USA, which would allow them to make the final 16.
Since then, they have done nothing, until Kek finally returned. They might have realized they were made for each other, and that might be the truth for Dalic and Croatia as well.
The grass is appears greener in another pasture, but unfortunately, Slovenia is pretty damn green, as everyone who as ever visited the country can attest. If Slovenia will have him he will probably stay.
This looks great. Velika Gorica is a good location too, with close proximity to Zagreb, major highways, and the airport. Hopefully this is the first step to building modern football infrastructure in Croatia. Zagreb announced plans earlier this year to rebuild Lokomotiva’s stadium, which will also be Dinamo’s home while Maksimir gets rebuilt (hopefully in my lifetime). Rijeka just announced new plans for Stadion Kantrida: https://gol.dnevnik.hr/clanak/rubrika/nogomet/foto-ovako-bi-trebala-izgledati-nova-kantrida-vrijednost-cijelog-projekta-veca-od-100-milijuna-eura—816148.html
The Kantrida concept looks amazing, but I believe this is the 3rd attempt to resurrect Kantrida with different investment groups, so who knows if they will succeed.
