We know the answer to that: pretty, pretty biased.
And will that ever change? Probably not.
While Matthew McKova would be a Ballon d’Or candidate in an English shirt, he is trash in Croatian checkers (from an English perspective).
But which players could England use from the Croatian national team and vice versa? (please give us your answers in converted form)
Croatia could definitely use a striker in Harry Kane (Hrvoje Kanić) and his poaching abilities. England will never have a central midfielder like Luka Modrić (Luke Murdoch).
Glad the site has officially embraced my practice of changing player names. Josip bustalo, marcelo bozo-vic and marko pee-ass-a would be very pleased
Haven’t yet heard from tin jedva igra, josk-“oh no there starting the game again!” Gvardiol aka the waterboy, or mateo krotch-does-itch
this is a bit melodromatic but kinda cool lol
any of u guys who remember 2013 and kovacic first game etc:

Many of these names actually can be translated between English and Croatian.
Harry Kane would actually translate to Henri Ratić.
Harry is just a nickname for the English name (Henry).
Central European countries don’t have an equivalent, and just tend to use a phonetic version of the English name (either Henri or Henrik).
Italians use Enzo and Germans use Heinrich.
The last name Kane is actually from Ireland which means son of war (hence Ratić, which is a common name in Slavonia).
Luka’s last name literally means Blue.
So the English equivalent could be Luke Blue.
There are also other versions like Lucas Azure, Luke Gorman, etc.
Luke Gorman is likely the closest because Gorman means “little blue one” which is exactly what Modrić translates to.
upon some research, there is around 20 people living in Croatia with the last name Ratić. I would not consider it a common name
Ratic, Ratkovic, Vojnic, Vojnovic, etc.
Anything that can be translated as a ‘son of war’ could be the equivalent of the last name Kane.
Ratko are generally used by Serbs. Vojnic is probably more appropriate as a Croatian last name.

He’s rated by the fans, it’s just the pundits and media that won’t recognise it until he retires lol. They’re that slow it isn’t funny.

Let’s here your Englishized Croats boys
Honestly I’m sure we would have to debate on some changes talent for talent
Besides a striker and a keeper I will keep most of our boys the way it is
I’ll still take our chances against anyone If the boys place ZDS style
Andrew Kramer 🙂
How bout something like Ian Periwinkle for Perisic. He seems like an upscale, 3-piece suit kind of guy.
