Brighton have completed the signing of Luka Vušković from Tottenham for a reported €54 million.
This is a fantastic move for Luka, as he is expected by many to go straight into Brighton’s starting XI. He joins a young and exciting Brighton side that continues to develop some of the best young talent in Europe. He’ll get the chance to play regular Premier League football while also competing in Europe, with Brighton taking part in the UEFA Conference League this season.
The move also makes Vušković the second most expensive Croatian footballer in history. Only Joško Gvardiol’s €90 million transfer from RB Leipzig to Manchester City ranks higher.
A huge step forward in his career, and hopefully one that helps him become a key player for the Vatreni under Slaven Bilić in the future.
