Ivan Perišić is Inter’s hero once again! Under the brightest of lights in Italy, Perišić stepped up and scored not one, but TWO extra-time goals in the Coppa Italia final vs. Juventus to bring home the trophy. The 33 year-old winger gave Inter a 3-2 lead in the 99th minute, as he soared a penalty kick into the top left corner. His second goal came only three minutes later, a rocket with his left foot that flew into the upper-right netting. Perišić was named the final’s MVP and finished with a 9.1 FotMob rating.
Perišić, alongside fellow Croatian teammate Marcelo Brozović, officially completed Italian football with their Coppa Italia victory. The duo have won the Serie A title, Coppa Italia, and Italian Supercup during their time with Inter.
Interestingly, I read a report that says bothan United and Real Madrid are interested in getting Lovro Majer…would be pretty good if he landed a spot on the Real Madrid squad. As long as he is getting used of course.
I prefer Bothan United
It’s a new team from Botswana…
I meant Man U.l Lol
Also there is only one god
The god of halilovic;)
I think a lot of this overrated luka stuff came from the balon dor
Many thought he didn’t deserve it
Before then he was ridiculously under rated
Heck even Steven Gerard rated kovacic higher;)
Forget these guys, luka is king of Croatian football and I don’t know if there will ever Be anyone greater
We will have someone world class again but hard to get to his level
I bet many legit managers would take him in the middle over most
We already know ancelotti and zidane would
The wired thing is people are still doubting Modric on Twitter and other platforms of media….which is the weird thing… they are are still saying he is overrated and I cannot for the life of me understand the logic of some people. After he singled handedly brought Real Madrid back into the aggregate with both PSG and Chelsea to put them back in the game with exceptional passes…to the point where he outpaced Messi, Neymar, even De Bruyne in the second leg…still people are saying he is overrated…even with a hat trick of assists… I just don’t get it?!! It’s like the only point of reference people have for games is goals scored…lol
I don’t follow the majority. Clearly with the above statement I made. Get of this site Laknat, it seriously is getting old. You are clearly neither Croatian or a soccer fan so please find another platform to discuss your notions and ideas.
Well said Mate1
Incorrect the majority disagree with me over the internet, they suggest Modric is overrated, I disagree I think he is an exceptional soccer player. Therefore I disagree with the majority on this case. A+B equals C… Basic logic in philosophy 101. Learn your logic first before entering this dialogue Laknat. Your assuming that because I don’t a religious on this that I am the majority, an incorrect assumption on your part. We are talking apples to oranges.
Sorry your adding that because I don’t a religious stance….quote the rest in my comment
The other assumption you take is that people idolize athletes…also not always the case…appreciating their capacity to play a sport is not a matter idolizing rather a matter admiration for what an individual is capable of in any sport. Most people in sports as well, including Luka Modric, are actually Christian Roman Catholics (or religious to respect but not all) including the majority of the team on fact. The coach even carries a Rosary in his back pocket and prays during matches. Just food for thought. So I am not sure what you issue is Laknat, if you disagree with people having an admiration for sport, than simply don’t visit this site anymore. As always, you can’t change everyone’s mind, and these conversation, if you believe they are i.portant should remain open ended, and not closed the way you have been with every person that debates your view.
You still have responded to my question a few posts back, which is why are Muslim countries playing soccer if you think it’s an issue?? You are Muslim yet you it’s wrong??
There is even a female team from a nation I cannot remember I think it’s Qatar. Even more so, why are they hosting then??
This would i.ply a contradiction in your branch of religious thought…
Moreover, why not take up the issue with the Muslims who choose to play soccer then… That would seem to be more of problem given your train thought…instead bugging Croatians who normally would not accept your perspective based on the conflict that they have with Ottomans in the past…history that is…and given that we have typically differing opinions on religion to begin with…not that I am saying your religious perspective is a problem it’s more so how you express and where you choose to express it and to whom you choose to express..especially given that many on this site have said they also don’t think it’s appropriate. Again it’s a Croatian Soccer website, for people who want to discuss soccer and your telling them not too…strange to me.
Sorry for the persistent posts here guys, I may have gone a little overboard, just found those posts by that guy Laknat to be a little frustrating. My apologies…

Some Modrić magic.
Damnnnn Luka’s in some serious form at the moment.
I wonder who/when the last time a Madrid player got a hat trick of assists within the first half of the game.
Actually, he should have had 4 assists. He setup Benz with a perfect pass, but he overdribbled and then had to pass it to Vini for the goal.
I think what we thought as old for a football player before Won’t be seen as the norm in the future
There will always be guys injury prone or not taking care of themselves
But when you see Ronaldo, zlatan, luka playing pushing 40 and still doing well it will push lesser talented guys to do the same
Nutrition, sleep, recovery and other things are improving and some are taking advantage of it
Perisic I agree is a serious athlete
I hope it stays up for at least till after next euro
Again i wrote in the roko simic post last night. Ivan Perisic is our best attacking player. For inter he can can play lwb but for croatia has to be Lw like i said he is our cr9. Since euro 2012 hes been our best player in almost all tournaments he has played in people forget if covid didnt strike who knows how the spain game turns out. Hes a true athlete and takes care of his body.
Some of you older guys on site remember wc 2022 suker was 34 prosinecki 33 and they looked like shit because they didnt take care of themselves look at nas luka 37 and still not giving up out paces younger players.
This crap croatia is old do the math ass hole pundits we average around 27 in age starting 11 with perisic and modric in take them out we are 25 average age.
International football pundits are writing off our 30’s something firecracker boys – they’re so oooooooold LOL – while jerking off to their wet dreams of England or France (Africa United) in the World Cup finals.
So France should be all white players?
Should 50+ countries be all black players?
If there is no whites there then black it has to be, and because there is no whites there but only blacks, they’ll never win anything. If you want to say that blacks need whites but whites don’t need blacks just say it man?
Now you can answer my question.
I sure hope all these Guys are firing as well in November as they are now
Perisic lights out, broz top of his game. Luka is luka
Also Anna Maria markovic is a striker, I want her to identify as a man and play for the men’s team
Much better looking then any of our current roster!
Vrsaljko subbed off in 7th minute…any news ?
All 3 no where near the UNL please.
They have led their respective clubs to silverware this season.
There legs are spent.
I want to see who steps up this June.
Our world class players are known.
Budimir ready to lead our line?
Ivan Perisic – 10: Give this man a contract extension now Inter. A leader off the pitch as well as on it where his performances are simply world class.
For me this season is just proving how integral Modric, Perisic, and Brozovic are to the national team. If they come in form these next two tournaments (Nation’s League and World Cup) for us, then we may have a strong chance of making it far in both tournaments. Without them I think it would be extremely difficult, they have been remarkable since 2018.
Perisic with a Champions League win, and now a Coppa Italia, Brozovic also with a Coppa Italia, this is big for them. Hopefully somehow they can still pull on top of Serie A.
I am really and hoping that somehow Real Madrid pulls of win against Liverpool in the final. Would make for a great year in Croatian Sports. Time will tell.
