Dinamo Zagreb is the team joining Split in the Cup finals after defeating HNK Rijeka on an aggregate score of 2-1.
Today’s match between the two teams at Kantrida ended in a scoreless draw, but Dinamo came out the winner as they won 2-1 at Maksimir in the first leg.
Rijeka will certainly feel slightly cheated though after what looked to be a good goal was ruled offsides in the 80th minute. Three Rijeka players were sent off at once for arguing the call and leaving the technical area on the sidelines while warming up as subs.
Josip Ivančić entered the game late in the second half, but was nearly the hero if it weren’t for his goal being overturned for an offsides call. At second look, the call was a borderline call that went against Rijeka.
Vedran Jugović and Marko Vešović were sent off for arguing with the referee and shouting obscenities towards him. Both players were on the sidelines warming up as substitutions leaving Rijeka at full strength on the field. Marin Leovac was sent off in the 92nd minute for similar reasons.
RNK Split defeated Hajduk Split this afternoon with a score of 1-0 to reach their first-ever cup final in their 103-year history.
Solkol Cikalleshi scored the only goal in the match from the penalty spot in the 44th minute.
Hajduk and Split were tied 1-1 on aggregate after the first leg at Poljud, but Split were the better side today are headed to the Croatian Cup final.
Bravo Dinamo Zagreb.
Now the only question that remains is will dYnamo give the “radnici” (that have never worked) the cup, that would really bring tension levels to an all time high and right before the match in Split against Italy. Something tells me Torcida will try to break into the game if that possible cup scenario plays out.
@mo I realized myself UEFA has changed the rule shortly after my comment regardless I stand corrected sir
Don’t know why the spacing on the last sentence is like that but oh well.

Whoever wrote “Ti si žaba.

Anyways Armada, evo nesto za te http://www.hnkhajduk.com/galerija/albums/2005-06/01-haj-rij-15-07-2005/haj-rij0028.jpg
but I will
and if your Croatian is rocky, that’s ok – I won’t judge you on grammatical errors
@ Bili
stvarno?! ma dajjjjjj LOL
you can come up with a better come back then that…. go play around on Google Translate or maybe look at this site:

and try again
any of the croatian girls ever come up to you and ask you to go on a date? any of them ask you if you want a blowjob after they fix their hair or after shopping? (this was a non-soccer related question)

Congratulations on your Italian heritage and Italian soccer team. Fiume Merda!
Holiga reports
You decided
@Klošar
Should the domestic cup winners qualify for the Champions League, the cup runners-up will no longer be granted a spot in the Europa League, and the spot will be given to the highest-placed team in the league which have not yet qualified for European competitions.
That highest place team would be Hajduk
Here is proof :
http://www.uefa.org/about-uefa/executive-committee/news/newsid=1999120.html
Holiga’s latest article is just another in a litany of pro-Yugoslav, Lefist, pro-Serbian agit-prop.
While Holiga does state facts, his crime as a “journalist” is – OMISSION.
He omits CONTEXT. He omits why Croats scream ZDS at soccer matches. He tells nothing of the war of aggression waged against Croatia & BIH only 20 short years ago.
His omission of the FACT that Serbs & Yugoslavs hold disproportionate political, media and NGO clout in Croatia is his largest “journalistic” crime.
Once again, Holiga speaks of Split & Torcida as the “epicenter” of opposition to the corrupt HNS, but conveniently OMITS that most of those same fans are pro-ZDS.
Of course, it doesn’t fit his Yugoslav narrative. That’s why he omits it.
Scatch the surface a little a harder, and you’ll come to figure out that Holiga, Vrbanovic, Stevanovic, Suker, Mamic & co are all playing for the same team.
Typical Holiga…..everything in his article is factual. I just don’t like how we have nobody willing to stand up and say “za dom…spremni” is not rasict. But, we have people with no backbones in Cro, so not much will change.

Ivica Kostelic is a DUDE.
hahahhaa great minds think alike!
I say bring in Kruno… let the great TV continue.
Or better yet, I hope Zadar let Stico go and he comes back… Stico will lead them back to glory, you mark my word.
Somewhere this morning, Kruno Jurcic’s ears perked up, and he’s not sure why yet.
Hajduk have no one to blame but themselves for anything. Goran Vucevic, who coached the team for two games, just resigned this morning as well as the entire coaching staff of the club.
Fala bogu, ja nisam Dalmatinac!
I was one of the lucky ones to be blessed with Istrian blood and therefore, half a brain (more than most Dalmatinci) and good looks.
@mo The winner of today’s match between Jajduk and Partizan Šit decided which team got into Europa League Qualifying as dYnamo hold the Champions League Qualifier spot and Reka already hold a Europa League spot. Therefore the last spot would go to the team without one that makes it furthest in the Kup hence Jajduk or Partizan Shit. HNS really fucked Jajduk over with that 3 point deduction for not playing dYnamo in BG, they would only trail Lokomotiva by 2pts instead of 5 for their only remaining chance at earning a Europa League Qualifier spot by finishing 3rd in the League now that they blew probably their best chance at a spot by losing to the “radnici” that never worked a day in their lives rather living on “bolovanje” due to their untreatable disease Titoism.
@Ziva
your comments crack me up but you are spot on once again
Nah, dalmacija are winners! They have RNK Split on their side!
Even tough it was a cup tie, today was just more proof the league needs to contract teams.
Friends, as you drink a cold one tonight, pour one out for the fans of jadan, mali i nemocan hajduk (remember, they don’t sederve a capital “h”).
hajduk……….losers
torcida……….losers
dalmacija……losers
Ha Torcida chased after some of their players screaming for their jerseys before the police could step in and get the players to the locker room. Man, the HNL never fails to entertain.
Under 500 eh? I wonder how many of the attending fans will be paid to be there.
anyone see the game?
what exactly happened with the fan running onto the pitch from Torcida? hahhaa then some other fans got into it as well?!
I missed some good TV today rotting away here in my cubicle
Rijeka Dinamo ends up being 0-0 final.
Cup Final will be the #1 team from Split, RNK Split vs. Europski Dinamo
now, let’s get some wagers on how many people will make it to the tie in ZG
I say less than 500 attendees….
If Split wins the Cup, Hajduk will need to finish in 3rd place if they want to go to euro league qualifiers
wow
Bravo Split.
LOLOLOL…………..JADAN, MALI i NEMOCAN hajduk.
