Who’s staying put this summer and who is going to move to a bigger club? All four players need the move desperately to reach the next level of their career. Here are the rumors you should know about:
Celtic are interested in 25 year-old right-back Josip Juranović. The Scottish giants are preparing a €3M bid. Juranović, a former Hajduk Split star, can thank Dinamo Zagreb for beating his current side Legia Warsaw in Champions League qualifiers, as the Polish side will now probably need to sell him to raise funds. Due to a lack of prospects in the right-back position, Juranović may be Croatia’s first option at the position for years to come. Sky Sports has confirmed these rumors.
Duje Ćaleta-Car could be a West Ham player very soon. West Ham, set to play European football this season, have made a €17M offer for the center-back. The 24 year-old seems to be destined for a move to the Premier League, as he has been linked to Liverpool, West Ham, and Tottenham for the past 12 months. Ćaleta-Car’s strength and aerial ability would make him a very strong player in England’s top flight.
Atletico Madrid’s second string goalkeeper, Ivo Grbić, is one step away from joining French champions LOSC Lille. Since the departure of Mike Maignan, Lille have been on the hunt for a new #1. Grbić has already agreed to join the club, and is projected to be their new starter. If Atletico Madrid approve the transfer, Grbić will make the €3.5M move.
AC Milan are still bidding €30-35M for Nikola Vlašić, as well as selling role players to raise funds for the attacking midfielder. It is clear that Vlašić is a huge target for the Italian giants and is ready for a move out of Russia.
