Olivia Vukoša is the daughter of Damir and Jenny, and has three sisters, Mateja, Maddy and Gabby. Both sets of her grandparents immigrated from Croatia to the United States. Her parents became Croatian citizens and helped their children also earn citizenship.

How did you start playing for Croatia? It’s no secret that you were also invited from the USA.
– That’s right, I was at some rehearsals, preparations, but then I had an unfortunate injury. Honestly, my dad was the one who decided that I should play for Croatia. Almost my entire family is from here. I’m not sorry and I’m really proud.
