Dion Drena Beljo assisted twice as Augsburg fell to Bochum 3-2 in the Bundesliga. He has been on fire for his side lately – is it finally time that Dalić gives him a chance on the pitch?
Martin Baturina scored and assisted in Dinamo’s 4-0 thrashing of Šibenik. The 20 year-old now has 6 goals and 10 assists this season.
Nikola Vlašić scored a beautiful game-winner in Torino’s 1-0 victory over Verona. That was only his fifth goal of the Serie A season.
Petar Musa scored twice off the bench in three minutes for Benfica in a 5-1 victory over Portimonense.
Marcelo Brozović assisted as Inter beat Martin Erlić and Sassuolo 4-2.
Ante Budimir scored a 46th minute goal in Osasuna’s 3-1 victory over Almeria.

Vlasic with a beautiful left footed bullet. He left the match early with an injury. I don’t know what or how serious it is. Hopefully it’s just a little knock.
Oh my, I missed seeing these screamers from Vlasic, and what makes it extra special is that it was banged in with his left foot, and is the match winner. Hope the guy’s ok… he was out for nearly a month earlier this year.
Oblak is injured so Grbic has been playing lately. Unfortunately, he’s not doing well. Here he’s doing his best Livakovic impersonation 🤣

That was brutal…..
That was painful to watch
Dijon with two nice assists
Stanisic got to look for another club.
Mazraoui has made RB his own with excellent performances recently..same goes pavard be it CB or RB..cancelo performed very well too.
Came on late in the game last night for that shit show of a team Toronto FC: https://www.transfermarkt.us/antony-curic/profil/spieler/845633
Never underestimate a striker who is possessed with johnnyonthespotitis…musa seems to have it in spades.
All great strijers seem to have it…Erling has it big time, and Mario had it as well.
Dalic is shit…
someone should kill him ▬ι═ﺤ
A Better Future for youngsters ~
Can you repeat that Rade?

I have always felt that dalic never persisted enough with budimir
Gave him limited time and chances
I know he is a poor man’s mandzo but compared to how much opportunity that krama Petko and livaja got I can’t really explain what happened in this case
Yup
I really can’t say livaja or petko do so much more
At least budimir runs and plays against better competition weekly
No hate on either petko or livaja but they are used to being the big fish in the small pond
Budimir had his chance at the Nations League and showed very little.
He played in five out of the six games. He started in three games and came off the bench in two games.
Aside from drawing the France penalty, he did pretty much nothing else.
I barely remember seeing him on the field in these games. He was pretty invisible.
He was 30-31 years old in these games. He was a veteran who should not have had any growing pains. He had to be ready to deliver. He’s now 32 and visibly declining.
These younger guys are longer term investments (Beljo just turned 21 a month ago) and they’ll probably already give you just as much as (if not more than) what Budimir offers…but with the added benefit to get better as they grow older and gain chemistry with the team.
It’s a no-brainer to start calling up Beljo and Musa right now and get them integrated (at least as substitutes).
Absolutely
Yes you’re right
However it was such a shame it didn’t pan out for him and Croatia
Anyways the future looks bright up front
Oh 100 percent
The future is now
But will dalic implement them fully before euro is the question
That’s the million dollar question. I certainly hope so.

Brozovic with a nice assist.

I know that most of you don’t rate him, but here’s a demonstration of what Budimir is capable of if he receives service. Beautiful outside of his left foot finish.
Yeah, that was pretty by Budimir.
Musa showed some pace like you said to catch up to the play to score his 2nd. Faster than I thought.
Beljo when he figures out his body and game will be deadly I think.
Our old friend, Milan Badelj on the board again for Genoa. Productive Saturday for our boys. Nice to see
Great stuff from our two young strikers!
Wow… we are gonna have a sweet set of strikers for the future… Beljo, Musa and coming up next is Frigan.
Too much for Dalić to process.
He’ll call them all up, one year apart from each other.
Lolol so true
Lol, yah that’s how Dalic rolls
Beljo with 2 assists.

I love the first one, he out muscles his opponent and sets up his teammate. The second is either amazing or lucky, from the replay I can’t be certain if he did that on purpose.
The one-time pass?
That looked like it was on purpose.
The pass for the first goal is very underrated too.
Very difficult pass and he made it look easy and simple.
He’s got a nice touch for a tall guy.
I like the bodycheck he gave that guy to win the ball. We need that. I hope Dalić stops delaying and calls him up. He’s probably already far more useful than Livaja and Bruno.
Agreed. It’s time
Musa comes on in the 87 minute and still bangs in 2 goals.

Here’s the first. He shows great effort to catch up to the play then displays amazing composure and patience to slot it in.

Here’s the second. The goalie made a meal of it, but a goal is a goal.
