Marcelo Brozović earns the highest honors of this week’s CAE after scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the fabled Milan Derby.
Nikola Vlašić kicked off the scoring for CSKA Moscow on Saturday. The goal came in the 30th minute from the penalty spot which was easily converted by Vlašić. His goal began a three-goal frenzy from the Russians who had to fight off a comeback in the second half. They won the match 3-2. Vlasic also scored Moscow’s third goal, which ultimately became the game-winner.
Ivan Perišić got on the board for Bayern Munich’s goal-scoring party on Saturday. Die Rotten defeated Koln 4-0 with Perišić netting his side’s fourth goal in the 73rd minute, piling up the misery on Koln. This was Perišić’s second goal since transferring to the German club and he played all 90 minutes of the match.
Ivan Rakitić and Bacelona continue on their downward slump in La Liga after suffering defeat at the hands of Granada with a score of 2-0. Raketa endured 62 minutes of the match before being pulled in favor of Vidal.
Mateo Kovačić started and played 90 minutes for England’s Chelsea on Sunday during their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool. The midfielder has been a consistent member of the Chelsea squad, making six appearances in the early season, with five starts.
lol
Still a fast ugly slovene
throwing labels at people is the way to lose sight of reality. zizek is/was a marxist philosopher who has also absorbed all sorts of other ideas about reality from diverse thinkers and traditions. he mixes it up the way he see’s fit. marxism is not the same as communism. and zizek has no loyalty to any flag whether national or ideological. i’m at not abig fan of his but he does sometimes say interesting and entertaining things. he is a philosophical entertainer, so would say clown
zizek is not a communist. nor does he advocate any social or economic system. he is a philosopher who’s motivation is to provoke people into thinking more deeply about their world. and to use his fame to get laid
Zizek the fat Slovene communist?
^
That’s true, he had depression and killed himself, even the press in Belgrade agrees with that.
I don’t pay attention to the Croatian version either.
Ivo was a self defeatest who suffered from depression and Starcevic also existed in a time when it was very difficult for the Croat nation
We will never give up on the realisation of the Croatian homeland which includes bih sandzak Vojvodina and kotor botorska
Long live Croatia
Croatian historian Ivo Pilar once said of the Croats that they have “a weak sense for the realistic side of life.”
Lol, that’s so true! Coupled with the Ante Starcevic quotes I’ve read here before it seems that you Croats are pretty simple people.
And Croats are small two faced hypocrites as well, which is what we’ve learned from some of the posters here
Remember guys, “Serbia joining the EU is in Croatia’s best interests.” Anyone know which globalist Croat said that?
Anon you are the man of mystery in this case
Are there bots on this chat?
I believe everyone’s opinion matters, but I do understand the reason some like to play the game of evasion.
Lol, the way of the beta male.
My opinion on Franjo does not matter it is important what most Croats think of him
He did the best he could although i do not support his ww2 record
If Ivo Fabijan’s uncle was an Ustasa that died for Hrvatska, and everyone said that he was a good man, why I’d like to know who he was fighting against?
What side was Franjo Sranjo on during wwii?
@Suba
“Mi Hrvati imamo dvije narodne mane iz kojih izvire sva naša nesreća: mi svakome vjerujemo bez da promišljamo i lako zaboravljamo krivice koje nam drugi učine.”
– Ante Starčević
So who wronged the Croats during and after wwii, was it the Ustase, or was it Franjo Tudjman’s communists?
Why did the Croats believe in Tudjman without thinking?
@Suba
So what would an ordered structure of society be for Zizek?
Remembering that what’s order to him may not be order for you.
Like Franjo Sranjo was a communist that had no place in the NDH because he preferred disorder.
Do you like Franjo Tudjman?@Suba
So what would an ordered structure of society be for Zizek?
Remember that what’s order to him may not be order for you.
Like Franjo Sranjo was a communist that had no place in the NDH because he preferred the order that atheistic communism had to offer.
Do you like Franjo Tudjman?
Zizek is not a Slovene he’s a Yugoslav
He regrets the day that Slovenia became a nation
Anon stop poisoning our minds you are talking rubbish dude
“The real political conflict is between an ordered structure of society and those without a place in it.”
– Slavoj Žižek
Interesting what that Slovenian says there!
What sort of Croat wouldn’t have a place in Ante Pavelić’s NDH?
“It goes without saying that both the Yugoslav and international freemasonry has outlawed and excommunicated the Croat liberation movement. It tries to ruin any Croat in the country who is suspected of taking any part, however small, in the independence movement. Freemasonry does not attack any of the Croat party politicians who demand Croat autonomy on the basis of democracy in the framework of a Yugoslav state, because these are in part themselves connected with Jewry and freemasonry. It acts exclusively against our independence movement, which is neither Masonic nor democratic, but which fights for the full liberation of Croatia and for an internal order built on sound nationalistic principles.”
– Ante Pavelic
What sort of Croat can have a problem with that?
Lol, one that prefers being a slave to a grave.
I love Ante Pavelic, in fact he’s my favourite Croat of all times.
I know there’s been a lot of stories made up about Jasenovac for the purpose of controlling the Croatian people, and I don’t bother arguing with people about that, people will believe what they want.
In fact if I do decide to have an argument on Jasenovac with some Jew, I do it on his terms.
Actually, that happened to me once in Caulfield, before the Caulfield Cup, I was wearing my Ustasa t-shirt and some Jew came up to me and started telling me about Jasenovac. I just finished reading a great book recently and asked him, “as a Catholic can I not ask where death would usher those people you say copped it at Jasenovac, I mean, the unbelieving Jews are antichrists?”
Lol, you wont believe what happened next, the little Jew walked away when he realised he couldn’t control me with his little story. Why do Jews hate freedom of thought, belief and religion?
Anyway, here’s that quote from that book I read,
“That death is not to be judged an evil which is the end of a good life; for death becomes evil only by the retribution which follows it. They, then, who are destined to die, need not be careful to inquire what death they are to die, but into what place death will usher them. And since Christians are well aware that the death of the godly pauper whose sores the dogs licked was far better than of the wicked rich man who lay in purple and fine linen, what harm could these terrific deaths do to the dead who had lived well?”
– Saint Augustine
The City of God – Book I Chapter 11
Why do we have a memorial for the Jews, Serbs and Roma’s at Jasenovac, what purpose does it serve, the Ustase (real Croats) know where death has ushered them?
“I will make the memory of them to cease from among men.”
[Deuteronomy 32:26]
Why have the new Croats not made the memory of the Jews, Serbs and Roma’s to cease among Croats?
How can you be a Croat and say f u to the Ustasha
You are a Yugoslav not a Croat
Every real Croat embraced the 10th of April it’s just that the tides of war was against us that time
Be proud to be Croat no matter the outcome
Za dom spremni
The Ustasha was great. Don’t slander them. They fought Serbian colonism and their fucking King. ZDS =U=
I’m Croat, and fuck the Ustasha. They’re a stain on our people’s history and not something to be revered. Anyone posting support for that puppet fascist Nazi loving group, who revere a piece of shit Pavelic are rotten human beings.
Lying to the Goy is totally permissible.
Drop your medieval knightly code. Its way out
Of date. All for the greater good of Croatia.
Porches lol we don’t need no stinking porches it’s viranda baby lol who is this anonymous guy I love ge his spelling, must be a Nigerian lol
=U=
Za Dom
All of this talk about sucking dick is getting me excited
Because we own central banking (the power to print money) we buy and control everything and everyone worth owning. Bow to your rulers goy.
Do Croats suck black dick also, or do you guys just suck white communist dick?
@DannyJ said,
“At least trump while I’m not his biggest fan doesn’t really pretend to be something he is not.”
@Dont Jerko My Leko said,
“as a nation of under 4 million you have to be two faced.”
@Elvis suggested Kolinda is a hypocrite lol!
@Anonymous said,
“Be glad your Croatian”
Which translates to, be glad you’re a two faced hypocrite! Lol!
Lol at you Croats!
Do you guys know why 3,069 Croatian soldiers have killed themselves since the Yugoslav civil war ended?
“what exactly is “racist” that someone said? Point it out and explain how it’s “racist”?”
That one guy could’ve just said that most Germans suck dick, no need to mention the color of said dick.
And he makes no mention of how Croats suck communist dick, which suggests he has no problem with sucking dicks as long as the dick is white.
Canada, I would never visit a country that would put me in jail for what I say.
Lol Trudeau
I for sure didn’t vote for that idiot
Canada is just as bad as states
At least trump while I’m not his biggest fan doesn’t really pretend to be something he is not
When those people who engineer Porches and Mercedes invade Croatia, who are you shit talking punk ass bitches going to go to for help? The other white nationalities you talk shit about? Oh that’s right, you’ll go to third world Brazil, you love poverty, it’s a badge of honor, makes you “tough” right morons?
@”ziva truth” what exactly is “racist” that someone said? Point it out and explain how it’s “racist”?
No we prefer Canada with that racist Justin Trudeau.
whats with the racists on here? shouldnt you have a trump/clan rally to attend to somewhere?
@Anonymous
come on they are untermensch like the Serbs.
The Boers gave away the country they built so their soccer team could play internationally. Stupidity has always been a capital offense.
They’re not Huns, they’re Magyars who are a similar people to Croatians.
And it’s funny that someone says “most Germans are liberals” when the Nazi regime was probably the most popular regime within a country in human history. LOL! As for the other thing the “truth teller” said, it tells you where HIS mind is at.
The match aganist the Huns was a typical lazy match of ours. We got the first goal and our Goalie at that time was shit. I think we smash them in Split.
@vuki
Slovakia played open against us, so it was easier for us.
Hungary will be in a great position if they come away with a draw in Split. They will bunker down and won’t be pushing to score. They’re playing for the draw.
We will come out guns blazing, and we should be able to score, but Dalic really needs to pick the correct lineup this time.
Re: Rebic vs Brekalo…
Rebic isn’t completely useless against tight defenses in a bunker (like Olic was)…as he is decent technically and is very physical.
However, I would start Brekalo.
The kid thrives against tight defenses, and his technical ability is excellent. Also, I can see a sloppy Hungarian defender making a mistake against him and catching him with a foul in the box (drawing a penalty). You won’t see any ref giving Rebic a penalty.
Brekalo is better than Rebic in this scenario due to his better technical ability and his finishing ability within the box (something Rebic is completely inept in). Brekalo is also arguably our most in-form player, next to Vlasic.
Unfortunately, I think Dalic might make the same mistake and keep Brekalo as his ‘joker’ off the bench again…or use him in another Right Back experiment again.
Then again, I’d rather have him start at RB, than to come off the bench YET AGAIN.
Modric was defending the RB for us against the Slovaks with Bartolec not ever coming back on defense. If the plan is to start Bartolec again and keep Brekalo on the bench, then you may as well just start Brekalo at RB. At least you get the offense.
@Dannyj
We still have a trio of Kovacic, Brozovic, and Vlasic in the central midfield. We’ll be fine.
However, Rakitic goes from hero to zero if he decides not to show up with Modric injured.
Personally, I think our defense against Hungary is not as important as others seem to think. We came out strong when we lost to them and scored a bit of a lucky goal, but then didn’t pile on the pressure, just played the game out and lost because of it. We saw what we can do when we do pile on the misery against a team like Slovakia who is easily better than Hungary in my opinion. What we should do in that game, is just come out guns blazing if you ask me. Hungary’s attack is not strong and their midfield is absolutely no match for ours. Pressure the crap out of them every time they have the ball, try to get a lead as early as possible and then keep pushing. Then make some subs to bring on fresh legs at half time or early in the second half. Rebic/Brekalo and then someone like Orsic who can use their pace to try to get in behind off the bench. Maybe Vlasic won’t be starting if Rakitic is there? Who knows?
I’m still debating on who I’d start between Rebic and Brekalo though. Brekalo is in great form right now, and may arguably be the better player when it comparing to Rebic, but what Rebic brings is constant running and aggression which defenses HATE. While Rebic did blow the chance against Azerbaijan, he was part of the reason we were creating chances early in that game. However, Brekalo is much more technically gifted and can come off with an amazing play out of nothing. He will definitely be the better player in the long run and probably will be the better option to start come Euros time, but as for right now, I’m not quite sure. I suppose it depends how Dalic would like to play.
Leovac is a left back!
And we have Borna Barisic in that position, who was named to the Europa League team of the week for the first round.
As for right back, we have Karlo Bartolec. Who actually has been getting starts for Copenhagen. He started in his team 0-0 draw this weekend. They’ve been platooning him with the Urguayan Varela in that position–alternating between the two.
Karlo does bring a hint of the Scandanavian game, as on two occasions vs the Azeri’s, he did a long throw-in into the box. We need that set piece weapon if ya ask me!
Bartolec is just a stop-gap solution until Vrsajko rejoins the ship. Also in that position we have Hajduk’s Josip Juranovic, but we have yet to try him out there.
But I think the real concern is not our full-backs, but our CB. Dejan Lovren is in the DOG HOUSE big time! He didn’t look sharp in our last game, as he failed to close down the Azeri goal scorer.
So the question is…does Dalic go with him vs Hungary?? I say either put in Mitrovic or Jedvaj who have been playing CB regularly at club level.
I know leovac ain’t no stud but he looked good against Atalanta
Wouldn’t he have been a better stop gap till Vrsaljko and Jedvaj get back?
In a world where Rakitic and Modric are gone going into the next batch of qualifiers
How would our midfield line up?!
Kovacic is such a skillful player with great feet. At the end of the day he doesn’t do much at all. Mateo rarely assists and scores goals every three years. Dude needs to pick it up in the offensive end!
Most German are liberal shit. Some are cool
But most suck black dick. Sorry that’s the truth.
Be glad your Croatian .
Vlasic becoming dominant in his league
Doing it the right way
Next year a move somewhere better and hopefully will do the same there
Much better then staying at Everton and riding the bench into a wasted career
Nice to see Kovacic string some nice games
I’ll try to find some chelsea forums and see what the fans are saying
Mateo Kovacic – 7 – Played some nice passes and always looked capable of creating something. Faded a little in the second half but can be happy with his overall contribution.
Seems to be playing at a consistent level?
no gol, yikes.
uh oh VAR time
pasalic with the tap-in equalizer in the 90th for atalanta …. 2-2 after being down 2-0.
Vlašić so far with two goals and an assist as CSKA leads 3-0
Ante Budimir with both gols for Mallorca today in a 4-2 loss at Getafe.
Dropping bombs on blue eyed good looking intelligent blond Germans is a GREAT IDEA!
I love the white anti-whites who think they are “tough” living in places that non-whites are taking over. They call anyone who disagrees with their position “cowards”. “That threatens you snowflake”? -a though guy accepts white genocide. Just as the Greatest Generation. They are preparing the disaster for the next generation.
I once saw stipe kill 3 guys with a pencil. A f’n pencil!
https://m.facebook.com/croatian.savez/posts/2390773801247535
Lol, how could anyone hate Stipe
The closest Stipe could come to speaking Croatian to Kolinda is speaking English with some fake ass euro accent.
Otac Filipa Hrgovića poručio sinu: “Jebi mater političarima, ne daj da se ti lešinari slikaju s tobom”
Hrgovic is a Croat to be proud of!
I hope DC smashes Stipe in the 3rd fight, I just can’t stand Stipe.
DC fought down to Stipe’s level in the 2nd fight because of how well he did in the first fight, 3rd fight will be very different!
ALSO, I’ll re-link the spreadsheet with the players’ stats that I have been updating frequently here:

I used to update on Mondays, but with European competitions starting, I may do it on Fridays or maybe Mondays and Fridays, depends on how busy I am I guess.
Right on queue, here is the updated thread for Young Player of the Week with a player I’m sure many people haven’t heard of. Scroll down to the week of September 13 – September 19 for the most recent one:

@truth
Moro is one, and he’s looking like he has fully recovered from that brutal knee injury two years ago.
He will be sold for a lot.
Kovacic is looking good. I hate on the guy all the time, but he’s been good this season so far. Might be another typical late blooming Croatian footballer.
the central midfield is the least of my concerns with Brozovic, Kovacic, Moro and Vlasic all looking like solid options (currently and within the near future). They youngsters in central midfield have been pretty impressive too in Majer, Ivanusec, Basic, etc.
Our future success will hinge on whether or not Brekalo becomes a Perisic-caliber winger and if guys like Vlasic, Moro, or Marin could get to a level like that.
We don’t need another Modric. We need a foursome of high talent big game players like how we had Perisic, Rakitic, Modric, and Mandzo. They gave the accolades to Modric, but he was no better than any of these guys at the World Cup.
Brekalo and Vlasic both have the mindset and talent to be stars. Moro looks like a very heady player. Marin has the talent. Will be interesting to see what happens.
My assistant just sent me a notification that Rebic didn’t start vs Inter. I am sure ACMilan get crushed until their dumbass coach figures out Rebic is his biggest asset.
Brozović with the opening goal for Inter.
One could also wonder how did rebic do… Part of me fears we’ve seen close to his top and it’s simply a question of can he stay here or will he mentally collapse. Also has a injury history
It’s interesting…. I’ve become rather bored with following our guys over the weekend because there’s just nothing left be learned about these guys from their games anymore
We know who perisic, modric, rakitic, brozovic etc are…i guess for the older ones we just hope to see they haven’t fallen off a cliff
There are only three things I’ve really cared about lately in this order
How did brekalo do
How did kovacic do. Can he control a winning midfield
How did vlasic do
Sadly despite most ready to give up on kovacic, the repka will need him in the future. There are no other ball control /tempo control midfielders that we have in our ranks
Kolinda has a decent dupe from that angle
Kolinda speaks better and clearer English than Miocic, lol
Stipe ! Diaspora Hrvati!

Fuck the homos and their rainbows!
ZDS- Brekalo
Perisic gol for Bayern to make it 4-0.
Wolfsburg are crazy if they let Brekalo go for anything less than 30 million.
I wonder if they want him gone because of the rainbow armband issue?
Lovren was very available, just wouldn’t bring down his wages. Which is why Roma didn’t sign him after having a fee agreed. I highly doubt Brekalo will be on Wolfsburg next season unless they make it to the Champions League.
Of all the players that Boban was pursuing (Kramarić, Brekalo, Lovren, Olmo, Moro)…
Rebić is probably the worst fit, but he was the only one who was likely available.
Hopefully he can do well in Serie A.
Rebic will struggle at AC Milan if results don’t go their way
Brekalo would have been a better purchase for AC but Wolfsburg is probably holding out for a higher purchase value
Really hope this season becomes a break out season for him where it won’t be only AC who are chasing for his signature
If he becomes world class Croatia will definitely win a major trophy in 8 to 10 years time
Yea, and both suck along with Skoric
We need to stop calling up these bush league players
Melnjak is a LB. Bartolec RB
who is down to beat some Italo’s up?
https://www.jutarnji.hr/vijesti/hrvatska/detalji-pokusaja-invazije-talijanskih-neofasista-na-100-godisnjicu-okupacije-rijeke-nase-vlasti-im-blokirale-3-aviona-2-su-uspjela-sletjeti-na-krk/9350306/
Maminjo, I do not disagree with you. As long as we go with someone you plays regularly.
Honestly, I think we need to move away from this mentality where if a player plays in a “foreign league” then he should automatically get a look.
The HNL is now a top-15 league.
Teams from Denmark and mid-tier Turkey are not better than the upper echelon of HNL teams.
I think Melnjak and Bartolec are no better than the wing backs who play on Dinamo, Rijeka Hajduk or even Osijek.
Unless a player is playing regular football on a LIGA PETICA team, then we shouldn’t consider them as any more valuable than a young player from the HNL.
Dario Melnjak plays/starts left back for his Club in Turkey. He should be playing over Bartolec. Defense will be solid when Vrsaljko and Jedvaj return. Hopefully when Vrsaljko returns he is fully healed this time.
Man, Karlo Bartolec doesn’t even start for Kopenhagen.
Hopefully we can get Vrsaljko or at least Jedvaj back asap.
Can’t believe Fran Tudor is a free agent, without a team. He looked so promising two years ago.
Brekalo is the most natural nogometaš since Modrić.
He is a natural attacking winger.
His final third technical ability is probably the best we have right now.
Between him and Vlašić we have a number 7 and 10 for the first time and in decades.
They will be both be needed to start a in October has we head into the business end of qualifying.
Boban should have really gone after Brekalo.
Rebić is good, but not sure if Serie A is a good fit for his game.
Olmo and Moro have been linked to Milan too.
He really should go after those two.
Brekalo with a goal and assist today in Europa League. Vlašić with an assist
