Here are the results for March 6th…
NK Osijek [ 0-1 ] Dinamo Zagreb
MANDŽUKIĆ SCORES LONE GOAL FOR DINAMO
Mario Mandžukić scored the lone of the the Dinamo Zagreb match away to Osijek in the 3rd minute Saturday night. Horrible defending lead to this cookie-cutter goal for Mandza, but nonetheless gave Dinamo the win and most importantly three points. With a Cibalia draw on the day, Dinamo are now eight points clear of second place with no realistic contenders behind them for this season’s crown.
Inter Zaprešić [ 0-3 ] Hajduk Split
An opening goal in the 18′ by Ivan Strinić and a double by Senijad Ibričić was enough for Hajduk to overcome Inter 3-0. With the win and a few key draws at the top of the table, Hajduk now see themselves only three points behind second place Cibalia. After a horrendous start to the season, Hajduk finally have their head level. Dinamo is still going to run away with the league. See you in Europa League qualifying again Torcida!

I think Dinamo and Hajduk may have to have a fire sale at the end of the season. Not that we particularly need the money, but mainly for producing more players for the national team. At Dinamo i think we should accept the right, not the highest bid for Milan Badelj as well as Mario Mandzukic. At Hajduk I think if a bid for Ivan Strinic comes in he should go abroad. Seinjad Ibricic is also another asset but he's obviously not Croatian.
I think a lot of Croatian's will come on the market in the summer. Mario Carevic, Daniel Cesarec and Jerko Leko will be available for free. It'd be great if Cesarec comes to Dinamo for free. I reckon someone like Ivica Banovic would do a good job in place of Badelj.
I actually wouldn't rule out a move for Tomecak. He is our next star, but if he progresses just as well with a foriegn club we can let him go too. I think there is enough talent around to pick up replacements.
I think HNL1 sides have to start getting the next guys into the foriegn leagues as a lot of them are elder guys who play in the big leagues. At Dinamo we've got enough coming through to allow Badelj, Tomecak and Mandzo to move on and we can still make use of the guys like Vrdoljak, Etto, Morales, Sammir, Barbaric, Ibanez who are steady but not attracting the bids. If Biscan, Butina and Kovac thats all fine and hopefully get in younger guys like Vida, Ipsa or Cesar.
It was good to see Josip Knezevic start for Amkar Perm yesterday as he should be able to make a name for himself from there. I also think if Jajalo goes down with Siena, he'll prob stick with them in Serie B and try to come back up. I think considering Jajalo's just come out of Belupo in HNL1, he won't be fussed by playing Serie B.
