Here are the results for Aug 14-16…
Hajduk Split [2 – 2] Inter Zaprešić
WHO BRINGS KRAFNE TO A MATCH ANYWAYS?
If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then this one is worth 100,000. Not only are Torcida wasting perfectly good krafne on Hajduk but they’re obviously not big fans of club chairman Joško Svaguša and Ivica Šurjak either.
Hajduk is still struggling as they needed a Senijad Ibričić penalty kick in the 69′ to force a draw with Inter after going down 2-0 early to the club from Zaprešić. It was a nice comeback from Hajduk and they probably should have won the game if it wasn’t for some nice saves by Inter goalie Matej Delač.
The newly acquired Sharbini brothers did not play and will most likely make their Hajduk debut against none other than former club NK Rijeka at the Kantrida Stadium in one weeks time.
Dinamo Zagreb [5 – 0] NK Osijek
Dinamo Zagreb just keeps on rolling. Sammir completed a hat trick as he converted two penalty kicks while Mandžukić and Tomečak added a goal apiece himself. Dinamo isn’t just winning games but they are destroying their competition. The season is only four games deep and Dinamo already has a +18 goal differential. Will anyone come close to competing with them this season?

My ambivalence to Hajduk continues. They'll do what they'll do. I don't think they'll get anywhere near us, but i want Rijeka to improve. After all they brought through both Sharbini's and need to refit the peices in their jigsaw. There is lots of free agents around. They need to start picking up some. Lovrek and Djalovic is a good start.
Goran Ljubojevic, Dario Jertec, Marijan Buljat, Marko Maric, Kruno Lovrek, Mario Cvitanovic, Hjorve Vukovic, Darko Miladin, Stjepan Poljak are all there to be picked up by other HNL clubs. Dinamo needs better competition than we currently get. Its no good for Badelj and Mandzo to spend the season only needing to play at 50%. Once we've put Cufre to left back in place of Glavina and Lovren and Kovac to centre i think we'll improve some more so we need other sides to increase their standard. Its also not like we've destroyed the competition this year. We only bought Sivonjic from Zapresic but apart from that we haven't desomated any other club.
@Dinamofan
"We're going to find it really hard to keep players if the competition remain as poor as this. Cmon someone give us a game. "
Are you serious? No one will challenge Dinamo this season.
I agree with Ziva Istina. Hajduk will be back and finish second or third.
Looks like Lovrek and Djalovic are on their way to Rijeka. I think these are quality signings and Rijeka will not even notice Sharbini's have gone. Lovrek is a proven HNL player and Djalovic is an international player. I think Hajduk let Djalovic slip through their fingers. They could easily pitched Sharbini and Djalovic together again.
I think this will revive Rijeka more than Sharbini's will revive Hajduk. Hajduk seem to have more than just a few problems.
It looks like rest of HNL have decided to destroy Dinamo by being really bad rather than challenge us. We're going to find it really hard to keep players if the competition remain as poor as this. Cmon someone give us a game. As for Papa sorry but he is definitely not a bad signing. Look at the guys physique and fitness. This is 200 times better than Tadic, Sokota and Balaban. Tadic and Sokota can't buy a goal at their new club and it was clearly the right decision to get rid. I think bringing Papa in was probably the best WE could have got considering the league we play in.
Soon as the Sharbini's start rolling, Hajduk will climb up.
RE: Perfectly good krafne
I gather a krafne is something like a "creampuff?" Is that right?
Hajduk wont be relegated. The leagie is so bad that by the end of the season hajduk will be 2nd or 3rd.
LOL. Those do look pretty damn good. On a serious note, I can't imagine Split being relegated but it looks bleak. What is the management there doing?
WOO taste our dust! We are absolutely flying. That's how you beat Osijek 🙂
What a shame, those are some tasty looking krafne, makes my mouth water just looking at them/
For TFC matches, the fans will buy a $12CAD Beer just to throw it.
Perfectly good krafne…….donesi ovdje 🙂
I couldn't agree with you more croatiadan:)! My question is: Who brings krafne to a night game? And were they čokoladni or marmalada?
If Torcida just toned down their violent antics a bit and threw more breakfast treats, the world would be a much better place.
See i mean we criticise BBB and Torida rightly so when they wreck cities and kick the life out of some innocent kid, but then they produce moments like this and you can't help but laugh. This is seriously funny and imaginative. I mean look at the size of them. Compliments to the chef
