ESPN.com is reporting that 7-foot Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut could miss the rest of the 2012-13 season due to further rehab and rest needed from April microfracture surgery on his ankle. The Australian-born Croatian, whose parents are from Osijek and Karlovac respectively, has only played four games for the Warriors this season after being traded to Golden State from the Milwaukee Bucks in early 2012. Bogut only played 12 games for the Bucks during the 2011-12 season and has been plagued by injuries ever since his broken arm dunk on April 4, 2010.
In a recent interview with tPortal.hr, Bogut was quoted as saying, “Although I am not born in Croatia I have to say that I was very, very proud and happy when I saw that the Hague freed our generals,” regarding the release of Croatian generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markač. CroatianSports.com was looking forward to catching up with Bogut in Los Angeles January 5th when the Warriors take on the Clippers, however, that meeting may not take place due to his injury.
What would you ask Bogut?
How????? he plays for Australia.
Respect to the big Cro-Aussie. When healthy could have helped Croatian Hoops.
His life ain’t that bad that he needs to go play for zadar
he should go play for kk zadar.
Bogut is finished. I’ll always like the guy for how cool he was to this guy, but he’s nothing more but a side note when talking about top centers in the league.
Porcelain doll Bogut is hurt and will miss more games!!!! You don’t say. Never would have imagined that. Oh wait, I did imagine that and called it.
