Bojan Bogdanović had another impressive game Saturday night in Miami as the Pacers beat the Heat 95-88 behind Bogdanović’s 31-point performance. ‘Babo’ went 13-of-19 from the field which included three 3-pointers and seven rebounds in the victory. With Victor Oladipo out for the remainder of the season, Bogdanović and the rest of the Pacers will have to carry a heavier load down the final 30-game stretch of the season.
The 29 year-old Bogdanović has been impressive in his second season in Indiana; averaging 16.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, but is shooting an astounding 49% from the field. With Toronto and Milwaukee expected to take the top two spots in the east, Indiana are battling it out with Boston and Philadelphia for the three spot and home-court in the first round.
Bogdanović has been the only real highlight out of the six Croatian players playing in the NBA this season. Ivica Zubac of the Lakers has seen glimpses of greatness in December and January but hasn’t been consistent enough; only averaging eight points and 15 minutes per game this season.
Dario Šarić is now coming off the bench for the Timberwolves in a limited role after being a starter for the 76ers before he was traded earlier in the season. Mario Hezonja and Ante Žižić are averaging 20 minutes per game with their respective teams, but they’re also playing for the two worst teams in the NBA. The same goes for Dragan Bender who has failed to launch in Phoenix.
Belichick’s the best but I’d still take Montana over Brady.
Belichick and Brady 6 Rings!
