BREAKING NEWS: JURIĆ OUT FOR ENGLAND MATCH AS HE SUSTAINS A MINOR KNEE INJURY IN TRAINING
THE GAME WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN THE STATES ON PAY-PER-VIEW FOR $25. EVERYONE IS ON THEIR OWN FOR FINDING A LIVE STREAM AS I WOULD THINK IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO FIND A CLEAN ONE DUE TO CERTAIN DISTRIBUTORS OF THE GAME HAVING A MONOPOLY ON IT. CSR WILL TWITTER THE MATCH.
There will be over 10,000 Croatians inside Wembley on Wednesday night to watch Croatia take on England in their crucial World Cup qualifier. But where will the rest of you around the world be when you catch the match? Whether you live in the States, Australia, Canada or in Europe, let your fellow Croatians in your hometown know where the hotspots are for this epic encounter.
For those of you in San Pedro, Denis and I will be hosting the game at a friend’s house on his 60″ HDTV. Feel free to contact us if you want in. There should be 20-30 of us. The British pub idea is dead as none of the bars in the LA area would negotiate our requests. Scorpio in Astoria, New York should be rockin’ as usual but what are the plans for Croatians in Sydney, Phoenix, Cleveland, San Jose and Toronto? Let us know below so more Croatians can join you.
PETER HAZDOVAC IN THE 2009 SAN PEDRO, CA SMALL GOALS TOURNAMENT
Croatian soccer tournaments in Los Angeles and Cleveland just concluded this weekend with one more planned to take place in Las Vegas the first weekend of October. CSR is also aware of a huge tournament that is hosted in Australia every year consisting of 20-30 teams. If you have any contact information for these tournament organizers, please let us know.
We would like to start reporting on up-and-coming Croatian youngsters who do well in these tournaments as well as semi-pros. Send us match reports from these tournaments with pictures and videos so we can give these young Croatian stars some exposure. You never know where the next Croatian international will come from in the world. Thanks to Vatreni for the fantastic idea.
Also, for all of Prva Generacija and new-comers to CSR, please register to become a member on the right side of the website. It’s located right under the current poll and is completely free. If you already leave comments under a Blogger screen name, all you have to do is add yourself.

I know that everyone was out there watching the England-Croatia game. We have nothing for fanzone so far. Give us whatever you have. Blood, sweat and tears, we want it all. Don't be shy.
Win or lose, the pictures still make the paper in the morning.
@ Matt,
Register on the home page. It's in the top left area.

The place to watch in NYC is the Irish Rover. 3718 28th Ave, Long Island City (Astoria) – (718) 278-9372
The hardcores have made their switch from Baker St. Pub in Manhattan to the Irish Rover in Astoria due to a BAN on the core group from the Tri-State area.
Baker Street can, as we were told, "no longer host Croat supporters."
The reason? For well over two years Baker St. Pub (www.bakerstreetny.com) was the base for Croatia supporters in NYC. We created a stadium-like atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere in the US (This claim will be supported by video in the very near future – the material hasn't been edited yet ). Singing in unison, chanting, drums, megaphone and fist-fights – all on the corner of 63rd St and 1st avenue in Manhattan. We have since been banned from the establishment.
So we have migrated.
If you are looking for a genuine atmosphere – with hardcore Right Wing supporters, come to the Rover.
Last Saturday's match against Belorus drew a good crowd of nearly 100.
Tomorrow's match will draw a much larger crowd and will prove to be the best of the venues for watching Croatia in the New York area – matching the glory of the days at Baker Street Pub.
pretty sure it starts at noon on the west coast
btw. what time is the game, west coast north america time?
according to a report at Jutarnji list, we'll be sporting a
4-2-3-1 tomorrow.
Hrvatska (4-2-3-1):
Runje – Srna, Križanac, Šimunić, Pranjić – Vukojević, Pokrivač – Rakitić, Eduardo, Kranjčar – Olić.
We can work with this line-up, and it looks pretty good if it comes to pass. This still leaves us Petric, Klasnic, Mandzo on the bench.
Spanish referee too, so I think that's ok. No Italian ref or UK ref!

Lets hope Pokrivac plays up to his name.
jeba mu ja mater
Would watch at Brits pub but my dad wont let me miss school. Anyone know where to watch a replay of the game online?
I will most likely be watching the game at the Gaffe, an English pub in the middle of Dubrovnik. I'll make sure to send a photo! May I suggest to all the visitors to CSR that they send in at least one photo or one video to CroatianSoccerReport@gmail.com of their game watching experience. May I also suggest that we see faces in the the photos and videos and not backs of people. It would be really cool to have a collection of photos and videos of the collective global game watching experience!!! See you all on CSR!!!
As usual I will be in Scorpio in Astoria, NY I was there for the Belarus game on Saturday and it was rockin at times but England is gonna bring the house down I'm telling you it's gonna be crazier than usual for England. I'm still mad at myself for not going to Wembley but w/e I'll get over it.
Susak Club in Fairview NJ always plays the game. I'll probably be at Dorians in Jersey City or Mulligans in Hoboken
in Windsor, Canada theres always at least 40 – 50 ppl watching in the club at our "zemljiste"; thats the main location in windsor
Is anyone having a get together in Phoenix somewhere?
