Nikola “Rocket Man” Vlašić has already landed for the 2020-21 season!
Different weekend. Same result.
Whether it’s in open play or a free kick – which is where he scored from Sunday – Vlašić is absolutely smashing the ball into the back of the net. Vlašić already has three goals and two assists in six matches in the young Russian Premier League season. Once again, CSKA bought the 22 year-old for only £14 million from English side Everton. Dumb, dumb Everton.
If Vlašić continues this for another two months, he will be bought by a top-4 European league for £60 million.
Vlašić will eventually wear the #10 shirt for Croatia when Luka Modrić retires.
Nema na cemu.
Thanks Poglavnik!!
Nations League (Portugal game) will be on regular ABC in Vancouver, Slavonac.

Croatt FC in London.
Jebi Conti .
I am tired of these system cultist.
Haha. You guys are sweating it out cause he got kissing disease. He’ll be fine
It will be on NOVA TV, i get it through Saan TV.
Hey guys, I know we have several days before our first game but anyone in Canada know if we can watch these Nations League games on TV anywhere? DAZN isn’t showing them and I just checked Sportsnet and TSN, neither is showing them
hahaha….when France wins anything their citizens burn, murder and loot the major cities but hey, zero National pride!
@BZ
Yea, hopefully he fully recovers without issue.
People forget that Ante Rebic had it, and it was probably the reason why his career plateaued for a bit.
Yes, tennis players have had a bad time with it. Ancic and Soderling retired because of it.
It’s just frustrating to see so many of our youth players get set back with these issues.
We’ve had Pjaca, Krovinovic, and Moro get career-limiting knee injuries that will prevent them from becoming key players for our future national team, and now Pongracic with mono in his best career season (just as we are evaluating our youngsters during Nations League). Hopefully it’s a quick recovery.
LOL. Already covering your bases for disappointment?
Croatia has taken these UNL less seriously than France. They used the last UNL to test out their bench, and they are already sitting out Modric/Rakitic and will likely be doing some more experimentation this time around.
France tried HARD the last UNL and failed.
They will do the same this time too.
France are the World Cup champions beating Croatia on the way to both their triumphs. Viva la France.
You Croatian fans will never know the feeling of winning a World Cup final. I wish I could describe it to you fellas but it’s indescribable.
France wont be taking these meaningless UNL games as seriously as Croatia so you might be a chance of beating us in meaningless games.
T-5 days .. ABC national broadcast.
I would love for Caleta Car to step up.
It’s nice to have one CB with height to ward of set pieces.
Then you have your athletic other CB.
Lovren will be in the mood for these two marches as he wants to prove his relevance.
Vida has been consistent as it gets.
Not sure why his headers never get on target.
He should just train with Mandžukić to learn what he does.
His headers are like heat seeking missiles.
Our boys will be playing for pride, payback and big time transfers.
Portugal will be physical but they are due for a Miocic special.
France is BS.
All hail Kralj Nikola
What a beast
Croatia – Portugal on national TV Saturday in the States – ABC, right after the Iceland – England game.
Doesn’t get better than that.
Croatia- France will be on NovaTV
Maminjo,
I’d say it is probably worse too, but I expect a full recovery from Pongracic.
I had a horrible time with Mono.
Most don’t end up like Ancic (although his story scared the shit out of me when I was diagnosed.)
I was fucked up for a month and a half, but fully recovered. And that was considered a pretty bad case.
DAMN IT.
As I just finish typing this, I Google Pongračić to see what his injury was and it’s fucking Mononucleosis!
This is worse than COVID. Fuck.
Yea, I’m still not sold on Ćaleta-Car yet, but I’m glad that he’s starting every game for a Champions League team.
He seems like he still has a few brain farts here and there. He was involved in the confusion that led to Brest’s first goal, and he let a dude walk right by him to score the second. Unacceptable.
I’m glad that he is able to score goals (even though his first goal was just luck, and he almost screwed it up.. Though his second goal was very good)… But I’m more concerned about our CBs being able to defend well without mistakes. This is why Vida will be hard to overtake. The guy makes few mistakes (despite not being good offensively at all).
Still, we need to give Ćaleta-Car, Uremović and Pongračić some minutes in these Nations League games at CB.
@ Soul Champ,
Thanks buddy. I get complacent sometimes and forget to write an article ASAP sometimes. I will keep these coming.
@ Vuki,
Great news on Gvardiol if he can go to Leeds. Why not if he plays?
@ All,
Caleta-Car 2 goals today. Both little deflections in front of goal, but hey, I’ll take a guy that can score off set pieces any day. It was a against Brest…so can’t put that much stock into it.

Apparently Leeds United in the Premier League are looking to sign Josko Gvardiol for around 20 million euros. I think it’s like 10 million up front and then the rest is bonuses. Big fee for an 18 year old. I would say right now he is the most highly rated Croatian teenager. Even over Marin for me right now after Marin had a quieter season.
I think he should stick around Dinamo for a season and start every week, but I don’t think Leeds is a bad move. PL is always a toss up for youngsters, but Bielsa is a very good coach and he could be a regular starter come the end of the season as they aren’t a super rich club so even 10 million is a lot to spend. Especially after spending 30 million on Rodrigo from Spain. Plus they don’t have any great defenders other than the other CB they just signed Robin Koch. Their captain is a CB so he probably will be the starter at least for the start of the season. I’ve also read that they might slot Gvardiol in at LB as he can also play very well there. But CB is definitely his best position.
Who knows, nothing confirmed at this point, but Fabrizio Romano is a very reliable souce. But if he has a good season in England do we call him up for the Euros? I don’t think Dalic would do it unless it was just dumb not to though. We tend let our older guys decide when they’re done rather than push them out. Not always bad, but sometimes is.
Zenit is trying to get him for their Champions League run.
25 million Euro is what they’re offering.
I think it’s safe to say Vlasic has outgrown the Russian League…
If a Top 4 league team doesn’t snag him by the end of this transfer window, his stock price will skyrocket as the season progresses.
Caleta-Car so dangerous off set pieces today. I really would like to see CC and Pograncic partner up in a coupla UNL matches. I would love to test out alternatives to the Vida-Lovren combo.
Napoli had better get a move on it if they think they can get this guy.
Another month, and he’s out of their price range.
And a second
Caleta with goal
@ Ante
Your articles are flowing with nogometaši relevance!!
Vlašić all day, everyday.
This dude is going to feast on Portugal and France.
Clubs need to buy him pre UNL.
His price will double post UNL.
Plus you can’t even key on him lest Rebić and Brekalo rip through you.
Kovačić has to take the forward space that Vlašić will open up.
Petković better score these next two matches as he will have plenty of opportunities.
