Luka Sučić is on the board for Red Bull Salzburg in 2022! Sučić came off the bench in the 75th minute for Salzburg Sunday and scored the game winner in the 93′ against 2nd place Wolfsberger. The 19 year-old Sučić stayed calm in the box while gathering the ball and booting home the winner just inside the near post. Time to give him ample playing time next month in friendlies and during June’s Nations League matches. Salzburg now have a 17-point lead in the Austrian Bundesliga.
It wasn’t a Euro goal, but Andrej Kramrić’s 78′ tap-in winner for Hoffenheim on Saturday should give the striker some much needed confidence. Krama has been non-existent for the Vatreni the past year with many supporters around the world asking him to be benched in lieu of other options. The 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg puts Hoffenheim back into a 4th place tie in the Bundesliga and Champions League contention.
Josip Brekalo is quietly heating up for Torino. The 23 year-old winger scored last week and then assisted on Torino’s lone goal Friday night in a 1-1 draw versus Juventus. With Juve up 1-0 in the 62nd minute, Brekalo took the ball all the way to the end line and sent a perfect, sharp cross to Andrea Belotti for the goal. Belotti was the only player in the box who could have done anything with the ball and beat Szczesny with the volley. If Brekalo stays hot, do you play him on the wing vs. Slovenia and Bulgaria in March friendlies?
Petar Musa cannot stay off the scoresheet in Portugal in 2022. After scoring in three straight matches, Musa got Boavista back in the game Friday night when they were down 2-0 to Benfica in the 74′. Musa left a back heel for teammate, Gustavo Sauer, for the goal in the bottom-right corner. Boavista would score six minutes later to force a 2-2 draw and chop the points with Benfica in a game they were supposed to lose. Is it time to call Musa up to the national team next month?
We have an Ante Rebić sighting! Although Rebić is still on the Zaltko Dalić ‘black list’ and hasn’t played for the Vatreni since EURO 2020, we’re still keeping him on our radar. On Saturday, Rebic came off the bench for AC Milan in the 61st minute and scored the equalizer 16 minutes later with a long, bouncing shot that fooled the Salernitana goalkeeper. The goal would force a 2-2 draw and chop the points as AC Milan stay atop the Serie A table by two points with Inter Milan’s shocking 2-0 loss to Sassuolo.
Domagoj Vida scored the winner for Besiktas on Sunday in a 1-0 victory.
Ivo Grbić was benched for the second straight match Friday as Lille played out a scoreless draw against Metz. Since conceding five goals to PSG on February 6th, Grbić has seen nothing but pine in France. Not a good start for him in 2022.
Ukraine proclaimed independence from the Soviet Union on 24 August 1991 and recognized Croatia on 11 December 1991 as the first United Nations member state which did it
If Croatians from western Bosnia declared Independence from Bosnia would you support them? What would you say about a Croatian government that didn’t support them?
Western Bosnia? You mean Velika Kladusa and Bihac?
You could probably count the Croats in Western Bosna on your fingers, lol.
But if you mean Hercegovina and places next to it (like Livno and Tomislavgrad) then, sure, I would support them.
I think the Croatian government would support them too. There’s a difference between support ‘on paper’ and support that is ‘off the record’.
Since the Croatian government is part of EU and NATO, they need to respect Dayton and verbally support a one-Bosnia policy…but everyone knows that it’s not working.
Either give each ethnic group a semi-autonomous region in BiH, or just centralize the whole thing (by abolishing Republika Srpska altogether).
The second option will never happen, so giving the Croats their own entity makes the most sense.
Each group can govern themselves (like separate States in the US), and they can negotiate what is managed at the Federal level.
I would support the integration of the entire of Bosnia and Hercegovina into the Croatian state

Then you would have a massive Serbian and Bosnjak minority that you would have to cater to.
You may end up like current state BiH, lol.
@Maminjo
Isn’t Bosnjak (a Croatian surname) just another way of saying Bosnian, and the Croats in Bosnia are Bosnjaks, It seems to me that “Bosnjak minority” could only mean Croat when you say “Bosnjak minority”?
Whatever. You know who I’m referring to.
@Maminjo
Yeah, the Croats, obviously the Serbs are not Bosnjaks, the Turks are not Bosnjaks (I hope I’m pronouncing Bosnjaks correctly?), so of course only Croats are Bosnjaks.
So you would prefer to have a Serbian state instead which would only be 94km away from Zagreb then?
As opposed to the current Bosnian Serb state that is 94km away from Zagreb?
I would prefer whatever makes the most sense for Croatia proper, and Croats in BiH.
All BiH Croats have Croatian citizenship, so they can move freely to and from Croatia and BiH.
If the BiH Croats can govern themselves in their own Croatian state within BiH, then it may be best to keep BiH intact and have the three group manage themselves (and not have Serbia annex the Northern part of BiH and be so close to ZG).
The issue I have with Croats dreaming of taking over all of BiH is that you would have to absorb a massive population of Serbs and Bosnian Muslims (and migrants now too) into your country.
You would be inviting the same issues that Montenegro is currently facing today.
Hrvatska all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Chetnik Russians fuck off.
Speaking to the Rebic situation… Rebic is not a very skilled nogometaš. He played very well for us in Russia but not in terms of skill. He was a disruptor. He hustled and disrupted the opposing teams using his aggression and physicality, causing turnovers and counter attacks. I would argue that to advance in major tournaments you need 2 or 3 of these types of players as it greatly frustrates opponents and helps disrupt their flow (which causes them to begin to panic and make mistakes). In Russia we had Brozovic, Rebic and Mandzukic causing havoc. That, combined with our more skilled midfielders abilities to control the tempo of the game and create good build ups led to our reaching the final.
Rebic’s problem after the world cup is that he started thinking that he’s some skilled player. Joining Milan he became (for a while, before his recent stretch of injuries) their go to guy. He scored a few goals and bought into the myth that he is this skilled goal scorer….he’s not. He’s a fierce competitor who plays his best when he is in the trenches, mixing it up and getting into battles.
Unless he recovers his fighting spirit and recognizes where his strengths are, he will not do anything of note.
At the Euros he looked a shadow of his former self for the national team. I honestly can’t think of one positive moment from him at the Euros.
I, for one, would love to see him return to his hungry, angry persona that wants to run down opponents and put the fear into them. If he can recapture that, call him up; if not, let him stay home.
Bog i Hrvati
So it’s settled
You would would play rebic in the last 10 to 15 minutes to go or during deep into extra time
Would ante accept those terms presented to him
No, I would play him from the beginning of the game if he would run hard and challenge for the ball as much as possible (high press, pressuring opposing mids and defenders). Then sub him out if and when he ran out of gas.
I am not sure what everyone sees in Rebic. He is neither a starter, nor an substitute. In all 3 games played in Qatar, including the game against Spain (being his worst), he was terrible in all 3. He would wait in the other teams have and he barely helped defensively where he should have because he could not achieve anything on the press. He is fast, but exceptionally sloppy. Being fast along is not enough if your ball retention and dribbling is garbage which his is. The reason that he is doing well with Milan (and that people think he is worth his weight) is because he has a team with a good defensive line, plus a team that’s built solid on offense. He has players which can feed him the ball to his favoured foot, which is the main way this guys scores( Petkovic is the same). Neither of them are technically sound or good at carrying things forward and they often loose possession. Given that Croatia is built as a possession based team strategy, given that our midfield is set this way, these two players are not a fit and in fact are counterintuitive to Dalic’s main strategy. He should not call either of them up. And both of them are out of form and have hardly scored this season.
I agree 100% that Petkovic definitely should not be called up.
You have to admit that Rebic was an important player for us in Russia in terms of pressing the other teams and causing disruptions in their build up. He hasn’t had to play that role for Milan and he definitely did not do any of that for us at the Euros.
I would love to see him regain that role with the repka but to play like that you have to be hungry, motivated and selfless (not sure Rebic has those attributes anymore after signing with a big club). Keeping your opponents under intense pressure when they have the ball can wear down their will and cause panic which leads to mistakes. Those mistakes in turn lead to counter attacks and goals.
Rebic could reprise that role again as he has the speed and physicality to do it. Unfortunately, I don’t think he has the humility necessary to sacrifice his ego for the betterment of the cause. There’s not as much glory in chasing down opposing players as there is in scoring goals; even though they are both equally important.
Silky smooth skill is great and we have a lot of talent on our team but the X factor is desire. In Russia, it was plain to see that Hrvatska came to play hard. Everyone was putting in maximum effort. I hope we can rekindle that hunger to show how good we are. I also really hope Dalic can integrate some of the younger players into the team because they will be highly motivated to show themselves. All-out enthusiasm, youthful exuberance and self sacrificing effort is contagious. The largest fires can begin with the smallest spark.
Ajmo dečki!!!
Bog i Hrvati
That’s why players like Pasalić, Budimir, Orsić, and even Livaja are important pieces in this team. They are not superstars, and when you watch them play (not goal celebrations but actual play-by-play action) you see how hard they work to make life hard for defenders. The same goes for Kramarić, though he’s a different kind of player who is likely to play on the right wing in the future, rather than at CF
I agree. In Russia we were considered long shots and our players played like they had something to prove…and they proved it! After the WC we played like we thought ‘hey, we’re the world cup finalists. You should just give up and let us win.’
Now that we’ve been somewhat humbled over the last stretch, hopefully the boys have something to prove again and will play like we did then.
U boj za narod svoj!!!
That’s fair, he quick on the counter, but my problem with him is mainly the ball retention. I watched for a couple of years on Milan and this happened more often than not where he would loose possession. If he could fine tune his dribbling skills than I would be sold. But he hasn’t really done this yet, I dunno if he needs more time or what the concern is, but I saw 3 bad games.for him in Qatar he made a lot of mistakes, not including the one against Spain.
The other thing is, he doesn’t really step outside of his comfort zone or do a good job of doing so. Mandzukic did a great job playing defensively within the other team half in 2018 there qualities he had which were lacking from players like Rebic and to be quite honest from Kramaric as well. Despite the fact Kramaric is a way better dribbler and excellent at ball retention, his struggles on the other hand seem be the system possibly or what I’m it sure. Kramaric was the one I favoured but he just couldn’t fill the role eother.
When the press was not working for Mandzukic, however, he would quickly switch to this way of playing, for me Rebic doesn’t seem strong enough to do this.
If he could fix these things, or atleast work on the with some progress, and be slightly more present in these respects than for sure I think he would be a good choice.
Need to reiterate, not at Qatar but the games during the Euro’s…
Putin has gone full Soviet.
We must keep Croatia free of his post Soviet expansion.
No moron, Russia is NOT the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was communist ideology “world revolution”, i.e. globalist. Russia is a NATION. If Bosnian Croats declare Independence and the Croatian government supports their claim, would you call it “Yugoslav expansion” ?
Did you listen to that Mongols speech today?
Answer my question first. Then I will answer yours.
So really what does it look like right now a 3 way tie between liva, kalinic, grbic and ivusic at a 4th
I mean it’s what like 9 months or so before Qatar
Let’s hope someone really grabs the bull by the horns
I always thought mandzo could play between the pipes;)
Why not bring subasic back
Subasic is shit! }
why do we have to …
He might save a penalty or 2
I can tell you livakovic wont
Subasic had about 50 clean sheets at the end of his time spent with Hajduk prior moving to Monaco. At Monaco he was a huge presence for them helping to a semifinal in a major tournament, I believe the champions league where they lost ton a tough team. He helped shut out opponents quite frequently, was Player of the season one year in Monaco if I am not mistaken. Was easily player of the match for us 3 matches in a row for the 2018 World Cup and made incredible saves for the team. At one point he had 18 clean sheets in 34 matches for Monaco, not sure what your expecting of a goalie. People need to remember France is not an easy team. Even if I believe we should have won and played the better game overall based on the stats. De he make some mistakes, sure he did. But he was also injured on the game for Russia.
He is easily the best goalie we have ever produced in Croatia, and noone comes close to those stats for us right now, and this is probably the farthest a goalie has ever taken us. So I hugely disagree with the statement that he sucks. The goalies we have right now suck, and from the fact that he left we now see the problems we have with the back line, because we lack a confident keeper in goal. The issues in 2018 stem from both Vida and Lovren who are both liabilities. Not mention Lovren conceded three penalties in the box for us which led to goals for the other team on three separate occasions in a major tournament. These are the people who we need of the team and give the younger defenders a chance to showcase what they have and maybe in a few years we can have a decent backline.
HNS – if we can figure a keeper , we might be something in Qatar- upfront it’s going to be right down to weeks before who plays- these kids coming up are fast, creative and strong with left foot and right foot. I predict some big surprises on starters by November 2022.
We do have some promising talent coming forward but their stats are not high enough. Let me go through this, Susic is in Austrian Bundesliga not German Bundesliga, Musa is in Premiera Liga Portugal not La Liga Spain. There stats and from where they are playing don’t show enough to be starters… I am sorry but it’s the reality. Help them progress, give them opportunities where it makes sense, but they are not starters. Maybe substitutes, that I can see.
This is what the third time I am saying this, Livaja has 21 goals and 5 to 6 assists. HNL obviously is not Premier League or La Liga or the likes of higher league. Bit again, it is currently the highest statistic put of any other Croatian player we have this season. He is also an intelligent attacking midfielder as he easily able to open up play with his vision and, passing, and dribbling skills ( which neither Rebic or Petkovic have unfortunately…also neither of them are even on the score charts currently). I don’t really understand why noone is mentioning him or has bothered to even look at the numbers the guy is producing. It makes no sense to me.
I am not saying he will always, but in the last qualification round he scored 2 goals in 3 or 4 games played. Doesn’t this all count for something??!
good read on Joško https://telesport.telegram.hr/kolumne/laboratorij/gvardiol-elitni-stoper/
Cindric is a Croatian surname.
Whatever happened to Josip Posavec, he was looking really good for Palermo and now he’s nowhere? I really expected him to be Croatia’s no1 by now.
He’s the third keeper at Haiduk, if I’m not mistaken
What about semper?
Is he getting regular minutes in the serie a
how bout delac
Delac is too fat
He’s been on the bench all the time
I mean Semper
We keep mentioning we dont have a tue #9 im worried about a #1
Ivusic since injury hasnt looked sharpe for osijek
Gribic benched at lille for poor play.
Livakovic has no confidence what so ever and has overstayed in Dinamo should have left in 2019 to see if he is a legit keeper.
Sluga Is done for me should not get call ups.
Kalinic is a 2m tall for nothing keeper.
Next tier Dont have caps Nevistic Kotarski labrovic.
Agreed… currently our biggest weakness is our keeper.
Grbić is probably too young still to be the no. 1 on a world cup contender, a bit like the Dutch keeper in 2014 who was doing great but then got the jitters in the PKs against Argentina. I still think Grbić is just getting a rest so that he can work on some skills without the pressure of being in the game. After all, the point of the loan to LOSC was to get him playing so that he would be tested and grow from that. Kalinić has a lot of experience by now and is having a good season finally. I think those two are going to be the ones who play in the friendlies. Livaković just doesn’t seem to be getting much better…
It really is what hurting us the most goalkeeper and the back line, because we do not have a strong keeper I think it doesn’t allow Dalic to be as creative with the midfield and forward lines, everything gets pulled back and everyone has to compensate. When you have a confident keeper it gives you an edge to move forward and have more of an attacking mindset on each game. Personally I think it’s the hardest position to play on the field, and in my opinion you have to be extremely talented to be a good goalkeeper. Either you have it in you or you don’t. None of the players we have as goalies come close to what Croatia needs right now. If you look at how Italy won the Euro, you could easily say that was almost exclusively Donarrumma’s victory. How many games did they not concede a goal, or not lose based on the back line and goalie. Strong defence, paired with an exceptionally talented goalie. We just don’t have either.
I agree I’m more confident in riding a hnl striker like Livaja then a keeper like livakovic
And I’m not saying to play livaja
But i feel by committee we can find a way to get goals
And overall the defence can be solid enough
We need a keeper
I really thought ivusic could break out for us potentially
I’m not for this normally but surely there is a keeper from Italy we can bring in;)
I am kinda getting tired on separate posts defending Livaja as a prospect this year. I wish I could just insert a few articles here. So here we go again. Livaja 21 goals in HNL this year, highest scoring Croatian player in any league right. Albeit it’s the Croatian league but it’s still a statistic. He also has 5 or 6 assists to boot as well. No other player aside from Drmic from Rijeka comes close. These are the two players in my opinion to consider as striker if you were to do so as the coach. Livaja also won Croatian HNL player of the year as voted by his peers just recently. There are several articles that point out his knack, and creativity in the ball. Check out an article on football critic for further proof. He is exceptional at picking apart the defence line, and he is smart at when opting to shoot, pass, or make a move for it. Neither Rebic nor Petkovic offer this quality as consistently. Plus he scored 2 goals in the 3 or 4 games played in the qualifier in Qatar. People have to stop discounting this guy, please read the stats before you comment. This does not me he will be perfect,no player is, Kramaric is far from perfect, he had great seasons at Bundesliga but he struggling this year after 3 great years, and he can’t seem to make it work with Croatia.
I said this in a previous post, about Musa, we don’t need a poacher we need a tactical and technical forward. One who can away the game in our favour by making smart decisions on the ball and who opens up option, Livaja has demonstrated he can be this player.
Just reiterate I agree with above post, ahead of mine, it was meant to draw on the thought not challenge it. But I have been reading a lot of the opposite with people on the site.
I agree with you… of all our potential forwards he has really been doing amazing this year
Musa for sure has the potential, but livaja has more experience at this point
And petkovic plays all the same teams livaja does and doesn’t do it
It appears like livaja will do the more dirty work and carry the work load more then petko
Again I don’t watch them regularly to know but the limited amount seems so
Maybe he has found his place finally in split and has definitely earned some playing time from now to November for the repka
We already know dalic likes him before with giving him time and his more recent form is again further fuel to it
streamable.com/kbjsgj
Sucic with a nice late game winner.
Lovro Majer, 8 – The Croatian is one of Ligue 1’s best players to watch and his balletic nonchalance orchestrated play and drove Rennes forward again. His passing was routinely inventive and visionary, one deft dinked ball instigated the second, and he was involved in the third
All this time we are hoping kova will replace luka as the engine in the midfield
Will the real New LM please stand up?;)
Let’s hope he continues to do what he’s doing
As he is still young and the big boys will be calling soon
He gets an automatic 5-10 mill on top of his normal transfer fee for being a young luka look alike
Luka has made such a legacy now that you know once people see Croatian midfielders now that immediately grabs their attention
Kova has been exceptional for Chelsea and Tuchel often, if not always, counts on Kova as a starter and he is the driving engine of Chelsea (most of his teammates will even point this out). He should not be underestimated, he has had a rough time adjusting in some ways in the Croatian side but then again he is not being utilized as an attacking midfielder, so he isn’t there with the sole intention of placing the ball in the net he is the one, like Modric, who is helping set tempo and play. That pass in the one game to Lukaku was out of this world, and the guy consistently playing this way. I think with time, he will be a suitable replacement, and he should definitely be called up this year. I am not saying don’t use Majer, but you have to remember Chelsea is Chelsea, Rennes is Rennes, Premier League is in the top 2, often top 1 of leagues in the world right now, and Ligue 1 France is maybe top five or six in standings. The level of competition is different.
That has to count for something too.
It’s Mateos defensive abilities that concern me
It was evident at the euros big time
NO ONE has the power and dynamic presence like Rebić!!
Do you think he would come back? At this point it feels like we would see rakitic before rebic in checkers
I sure hope he can make amends
If that was a sarcastic comment then ignore the rest of this one.
Unfortunately he is our worst player by the largest stretch of a possible square mile. He has the worst ball retention I have ever seen, he fumbles the ball more than he holds it and often falls over himself with his attempts. I feel like his feet are moving too fast for his mind to process what’s going on. He played the worst tournament ever in Qatar qualifiers, and to be honest the only thing he produced in 2018, was gifted to him by the Argentine goalie. Despite how nice that goal was, if he made it any less that would have been sad.
This is coming from someone who watched him on AC Milan and was one of the biggest people routing for his progress as an Ace/#9. But he has not tighten on any of his ball retention skills throughout this time so I have squarely given up on this guy and Dalic is right not to play him or even call him up. He doesn’t have the quality to make anything happen for us. As for the stats, you have to remember with Rebic and Petkovic, they won’t score unless the ball falls perfectly to their favoured, at least the majority of the time. This is what I have begun to notice about these players. We need a creative, and technical player to fill that role.
From managingmadrid.com. Militao got an 8, Luka 7.5 and all others 7 or under.
Luka Modric—7.5: Very quiet in the first half, but was the pivotal difference maker in the 2nd half. Once Luka Modric began playing and dictating the flow of the match, Madrid began to play.
Lovro Majer is dealing, can’t keep this guy out of the lineup
Livaja scored a hat trick. I think it’s time to stop putting the guy down and admit that he’s a legit professional footballer. Between him, Brekalo, Orsić, Kramarić, Budimir, and now Musa, Dalić has a number of different skill sets at his disposal for when we need to break down a defense.
You do know his hatrick came against Hrvatski dragovoljac in the HNL?
It’s still a hat trick, and HD destroyed Sibenik the last time I watched HNL, so I wouldn’t put the guy down over it… He’s not a starter, but if he can score some goals, he’s an asset as an offensive substitution, especially since he can score penalties
21 goals is still 21 goals read the above post. 5 or 6 assists is also still a valid stat. Best player HNL is still best player of HNL. Besides when is the last time the Portugese league won a major tournament, they are not necessarily the Premier League or La Liga but everyone is flocking to the Musa boat. Nothing against him as player but give me a break. Livaja scored 2 goals in the 3 or 4 matches where he played in Qatar, and not necessarily as a starter, so should we discount Orsic then because he plays for HNL?? Maybe we should play none of those players then.
Maybe you could say this is the guy played on Benfica, then fine but that’s not the team Musa is playing for. So personally I still think Livaja should start
Also, Livaja actually played for some pretty good teams. He was good when he was at Las Palmas! And he was training at Inter for a number of years. Just because he wasn’t always in his prime doesn’t mean anything. The guy is playing well these days. Same with Love Kalinić. He had some very low lows, but he has been good this season, and you can’t discount that as a fluke. It’s hard work paying off
My whole life you told me my race was inherently evil and must be wiped off the planet but you’re putting restrictions on me? I should be good to white traitors, right?
“Whites were and continue to be exploited and manipulated by the Jews, the same as blacks, and their race is even more hated by the Jew” – Dontell Jackson
A few highlights of this narrative distortion include how:
Black and white children are not taught that the slave ships were largely owned and operated by Jews, or that the first American slave owners were black.
Black and white children are not taught about the quantity of slaves that were white (though most historians agree that roughly two-thirds of all whites came to the colonies in some form of bondage)
Black and white children are not taught about how white slaves were valued at much less (50 sterling for a black slave vs. a maximum of 5 sterling for a white “indentured servant”) and treated worse than their African counterparts as the requirement that they be released in a few years actually made them more expendable to their masters.
Black and white children are not taught that the white race actually comprised a smaller percentage of slave owners in the United States than free blacks— about 28% of free blacks owned black slaves compared to roughly 1.4% of white owners of black slaves (1860 US Census)
Black and white children are not taught that, of the 10 to 15 million Africans who were transplanted to the New World, no more than 6 percent even went to the Northern Hemisphere; Almost all of them went to South America.
Black and white children are not taught about how the Muslim trade of African AND European slaves lasted centuries longer than any white European involvement did, or about how white, Christian Americans were the first to push for the abolition of slavery as a practice.
Black and white children are not taught that, since blacks have never been the majority demographic in America, it is mathematically impossible for most whites to have owned black slaves.
It is far more realistic to accept that the ancestors of most (obviously not all) American whites today were either indentured servants (the euphemism responsible for hiding American white slavery) or entirely too impoverished to be owning land or people. So how would these truths effect the longstanding race-based psy-op being perpetrated against humanity? The answer lies in another question: How can one defeat an enemy that is never allowed to be correctly identified?
“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” – Voltaire
Where did these posts come from this quite stupid. This is a soccer site, please keep things in context, and leave these posts out because they are not appropriate and not necessary. Racial conversations have nothing to do with these discussions and they make our people look stupid. I am for having a free discussion but let’s remember this is a soccer site, not a political science site, or a site on philosophical discourse. From a philosophy major by the way…
@Mike
You’re a useful idiot to the Jews, congratulations. I think you’re a Jew yourself.
“The reality is that the white race had little to do with the slave trade that took our ancestors away from Africa and sold them into bondage in the New World. That crime was committed not by White Europeans, but by Jews who were engaged in transatlantic commerce between the Old World and the Americas where they hoped to establish a New Jerusalem from which to rule the world by way of exploiting all races who were not members of their tribe of “chosen people.””
– Dontell Jackson
It wasn’t white people chasing through the bushes catching the black people for slaves. Other black people rounded up their fellow black man and woman and sold them for a handful of change and didn’t care if they were used for cotton picking or pig food as they herded them into the ships. If you look at Africa today hardly anything has changed. Instead of making money capturing their enemies and selling them they simply hack them to death with machetes because there is no market for black slaves anymore.
No your right the British and the colonizers only purchased, because that is so different from what you just said about hiding in the bushes. That is such a stupid comment. This has to be the most awkward conversation to stem itself into a soccer website. What happened in Jamaica, or Brazil pray tell? Do you know how to do research or read?? Or you going just piggyback on the notion of narrative even if there is plenty of evidence to suggest a counter argument and very little to back up your argument. We need to understand such conversations makes our people look stupid and devoid of factual conversations. I really mist reiterate that these comments DO NOT reflect what the majority of Croatians think, and they are not reflective of the Croatian soccer body or the players themselves. The website creators and owners really need to filter these kinds of remarks, and not because I don’t believe in open discussion but discussion should be had in a context or situated on a proper context. Not because someone had an epiphany and misread Voltaire and all of sudden thinks that they everything is know about a subject matter… Maybe take a philosophy course first…
https://theweeklychallenger.com/top-10-black-slaveowners/
See who owned these poor souls at the time..its not the evil white man that the liberal media are brainwashing the general public.I didnt start the slave thread..however.. facts are facts..I like soccer and that’s that.
Did you see Rebić equalizer from outside the box?
This dude needs to be back in the fold.
If you want to win the World Cup, Dalic needs to to make this happen.
This is not a dalic issue, it’s a rebic issue. He needs to fix it, no one can do it for him
2:30 for Rebic goal, should start there by default:
https://youtu.be/tSBD2ZOr9NE?t=149
Rebic (6): He sealed one point for the Rossoneri with a shot from distance, which saves his rating, but he also had a lot of poor crosses/passes in the final minutes of the game (like many others).
Again one moment of brilliance does not provide consistency. Rebic is not a consistent player, in fact he is more so consistently a bad player so I don’t one highlight real, players like Kovacic, Modric, Livaja, Perisic, there are stats to point to their success and usefulness.

I think juranovic trumps the other RBs currently
With his current form and the way he has played for us.
Seems to be always involved
I didn’t know orsic could play the right side?
But I agree this guy has scored against some pretty big clubs
Always seems to show up when it matters
Really love to see him get some more play time
Completely agree. Orsic has to play.
I don’t personally like Brekalo, he had a horrible game in the Euro’s and was dead weight.maybe that’s change I will have look up the stats to see. As much as I like Kramaric, he is a huge if right now because he hasn’t been playing well for Croatia previously. Not sure Jakic is, so I have to see his stats. Modric, Kova 100 percent. You left Livaja out which for some oddball reason everyone on this tends too so I don’t agree.pasalic also is very underrated so I agree that he should be a starter.
Personally:
Perisic…..Livaja….Pasalic/Orsic
Majer …Brozo/Kova….Modric
Sosa….Gvardiol…Juranovic…Caleta..
Goalie your guess is as good as mine or anyone elses. We really don’t have one.
The backline of course is also weak so it’s work on progress so this is Dalic’s frustration I imagine…
Kramaric with the winner in the 78th for Hoffenheim in a comeback victory over Wolfsburg.
Would be nice for him to heat up at the right time.
Domagoj Vida with the winner for his side off a corner
