Despite trade rumors swirling around Brooklyn, Bojan Bogdanovic remains committed to playing hard. The recently demoted shooting guard had a productive week. It didn’t start well against Cleveland, although Bojan received 30 minutes. In a 91-79 loss, Bogdanovic scored seven points on three of nine shooting. With Cleveland soundly outplaying them, the Nets emptied our their bench early. Circumstances didn’t change against Utah, as Brooklyn lost 108-86 in another embarrassing home performance. Bojan scored a team-high fourteen points on five of nine shooting. When the leading scorer has only fourteen points, it showcases how poorly a team played offensively.
Brooklyn has a tendency of pulling off random upsets. They’ve beaten Chicago and Miami this season. Oklahoma City was the latest victim, as the Nets won 116-106 last Sunday. Brook Lopez dominated with 31 points and ten rebounds. Brooklyn’s lone star has carried them during this difficult season. Bogdanovic gave him a major lift by scoring 18 points on seven of twelve shooting in 29 minutes of action. After struggling with his jump shot for weeks, the second-year player found his sweet stroke back by going four of six from three-point range. With the recent increase of playing time, it seems like Bojan is starting to settle back into a six man role again.
Bogdanovic makes Oklahoma City pay
After a recent four-game home stretch, Brooklyn will travel to Dallas on Friday followed by New Orleans on Saturday. The short week ends on Monday at home against Indiana. At 12-34, Brooklyn will be in the trade rumor discussion for weeks to come.

After surpassing expectations in December, the Orlando Magic have fallen apart in January. They are currently on a seven game losing streak with three of those losses coming in overtime. Mario Hezonja continues to struggle finding consistent minutes. After playing sixteen minutes against Philadelphia last Wednesday, the rookie guard was reduced to seven minutes against Charlotte. Scott Skiles has shuffled the rotation around on numerous occasions with no long-term solution. Orlando has gone from 20-17 to 20-24 in a matter of three weeks. Besides a few flashy dunks against Philadelphia, it was a forgettable week for Hezonja. There simply hasn’t been enough opportunities for him to properly showcase his abilities on a nightly basis. Mario is still a step behind defensively at times, despite gelling with his teammates better offensively.
Hezonja dunk party
Orlando will be playing a back-to-back series against the Celtics. They will travel to Boston on Friday, before playing them at home on Sunday. The week ends in San Antonio on Monday. It will be another difficult week for this young Magic team. Finishing games needs to be a priority, as they’ve lost far too many leads in the fourth quarter.

The Golden State Warriors continue to steamroll past the NBA competition with wins against Chicago, Indiana, and San Antonio this week. Andrew Bogut started for the Warriors at center in all three games and put up an efficient performance in limited time. Andrew averaged 4 points, 2.5 blocks, 2 assists and 7 rebounds in 19 minutes of action.
The Warriors tend to monitor Bogut’s minutes even when he’s healthy, but more so when he’s experiencing some sort of nagging injury. Bogut reported back spasms during Wednesday’s win over the Bulls.
Throw it down big man, throw it down

Damjan Rudež managed to get off the bench once this week for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 29-year-old small forward played 9 minutes against the Dallas Mavericks, missed all three of his three point attempts and watched from the bench the rest of the game. The NBA trade deadline is a few weeks away. Will Rudež be able to get a chance elsewhere?

So we’re all for censorship now, Allen?
There is more to life than telling people online to get one
is the game going to be streamed today?
Iggy
There is more to life than hating athletes. Please get one.
@idemo……that is the chance you take by going the lottery route. Cat 1 seats are all seats between the goals. You could get in the lower bowl or you could get something in the top of the stadium in one of the corners right before Cat 2 and 3 seats begin. There is nothing worse than sitting in seats that are up high or too far away. If I get those seats I am selling them right away and looking to upgrade.
djokovic is a cunt btw
wow, that is astonishing denis
just, wow
so from now on no swearwords are allowed?
Shit seats upper tier wtf did I select cat one for
well my flights booked so I know I’ll be in Paris at minimum
What’s the best way to verify a ticket bought day of?
@Iggy,
I deleted your comments. Dude, we have kids on the site. We receive so many emails asking to please cut out the profanity.
You can hate on serbia, croatia, and Kolinda, just refrain from using profanity.
I went out and bought a Golden State Jersey because they will win at least 7 championships. Curry and Thompson will have 7 rings people will say Curry is better than Jordan end of discussion.
Hoes fly, you are better off not winning the lottery because you could get shit seats in the upper tier. At least with scalpers or ticket brokers you can pick where you want sit.
They better. I’m already starting to shit my pants that I won’t get tickets.
Don’t worry if you don’t win the lottery draw. You will easily be able to get tickets on the day of the game from scalpers.
What have I ever written that is so over the top when analyzing or discussing an issue. I am always fair and balanced and usually give both sides of the issue. I pride myself on that.
@idemo……ticket allocation depends on the size of the stadium, the game, sponsor obligations. In general the Cro federation will get around 10-15% of the tickets to each game. So, for the first game my guess we will get approx. 6,500 tickets. Here is the problem with our federation. I am sure Puppet Suker will do the same thing he did for the World Cup and screw our fans. He gave hundreds, and when I say hundreds I am not exaggerating, tickets to a friends of his bookie in Germany to help pay off Puppet Suker’s debts. The ticket agent friend in Germany scalped the tickets for a good price jump. So, that is why I say our federation doesn’t give a shit about the fans.
@Iggy
This website is like Croatia. You hate on Croatians and don’t get punished. You hate on Serbs and get punished.
it other news, booked my flight for paris and cro…..booked my room in paris……..if the tickets come through it’ll be the perfect trifecta
does anyone have anyone info regarding how many we were allocated, more specifically for turkey game, chances depending on which cat?
first time watching the repka play in a major tournament
what the.. i posted a couple of posts about djokovic in here and they got deleted? Are the mods now sifting through comments and deleting things they dont like?
@idemo I truly think Cavs are worse w Irving starting. If anything they need to bring him on as a sub eg the Iggy plan, cause that bench is horrific. Surprised more coaches dont see the beauty of not having too many cooks in the kitchen at one time.
I bet on the spurs in that series too. And dont even ask who I hap in the RocketsClips matchup.
At the end of the day, nobody knows. The thing that kills me is that if anyone else said something to the effect of a similar woulda/coulda/shoulda scenario, you make it a point to belittle them. Which is why some if us don’t visit this site and stick to other croatian sports outlets that we do not think you are on. On other sites nobody is calling our players derogatory nicknames, and chastising ppl for purchasing merchandise (which is one of the biggest revenue sources in sportS,hence more coverage hence more chances for us to watch our beloved country play soccer while in California or wherever). At the end of the day,I am still not sure you arent a serb troll, cause you sure like to cut down Croats whenever you get a chance. Here is to hoping you try giving truthful/real analysis w/o cutting down your brothers every chance you get.
Cavs are healthy now and suck. They would’ve sucked in last year’s finals too.
still not buying it, with love and Irving I don’t see the cavs winning it last year either
No difference in this years gsw and last year (ok David lee who cares)
Betting on the 6ers tonight against gsw
to be fair, I also bet heavy on the Spurs last year to get by the Clippers in the playoffs. That one hurt, it hurt a lot. Chris Paul and his miracle shot hurts today.
still wrong………but you are entitled to your thoughts.
I’ll use your argument…………Cleveland beat GS badly last year in regular season game. Both teams were healthy. Does that mean CLE would have won the Finals? Nope, but their odds sure would have increased if they had a healthy team, no?
Again, what my eyes saw were a depleted CLE team win two games in the Finals. Next to the Iveson 76ers that made the Finals, last season’s Cavs team in the Finals might have been the worst in modern times to make the finals. And they won 2 games and lost one in OT. So, common logic would make you think a healthy team would have had a 50/50 chance considering they beat GS in the regular season.
At the end of the day, I won because I bet on GS. So life is good
Class is not dismissed go back in the corner with your dunce cap on…You still work on the premise that this year has nothing to do w last year. Neither team made any meaningful changes, in fact, gsw may be weaker w/o Lee. Like Idemo said, Your hypothetical scenario played out on xmas and last week to negative results. Easy to say now that things would have been different last year. 8of 10 teams to win 67 or more won the title. So Id say that was a pretty good approximation of what the true odds of gsw winning the title would have been.I am just soo happy gsw won both games vs the full Cavs squad, otherwise more trolls like you would be all over the internet. Ps if you are just betting gsw this year you missed the motherload that was last year (when ppl like you thought we werent that good). Better late than never, so I commend you on that.
umm, because a depleted team was able to win two games, one of the opponent’s floor and the other they lost was in OT. that is why…..
I’m not ripping GS. I love them. I take them every night with the spread, especially the in-game lines.
But last year was not the same…….they had issues in the Finals and a healthy Cleveland team might have won it, hence the 50/50 comment.
class dismissed
Regarding Cavs vs Gsw last year. @ziva You looked at last year’s schedule? Did you happen to notice Gsw won over 80% of their games, and that is in a superior western conference. A top 6 season of all time, w 2 losses coming when they rested Curry (to teams w a losing record). They could have won 69 games. Even LBJ’s best year w the heralded Heat, didnt win more games. My point is:Why on earth would anyone think it would be 50/50, unless they were a mental midget?
Negative………
You have to look at every win/loss on its own.
Our display at the World Cup against Mexico was more of a result of us shitting the bed because we are mental midgets than anything Mexico did.
With the handball team yesterday, when you examine the play of both teams going into the game nothing would have made you think we could destroy Poland. Nothing.
We played great. There is no denying that especially after analyzing the game on rukomet.hr. But, Poland shit themselves badly. The pressure of playing at home got to them. This was the equivalent of junior bringing home a chick for the first time and blowing his load right away. Only difference is that Poland blow their load on the other end.
We lose and we are mental midgets, but Poland loses and they “shit the bed”. Ziva is a mental midget who shits his bed.
Nobody hates Pivaric because Mamic. Pivaric is fine; average player. People hate Mamic because of Mamic. Nobody hates Dinamo players because of Mamic. There might be some resentment over the guys whoi lack a backbone and continue to pay him as part of their personal service contract with him (Modric).
Poland really did shit themselves….our players smelled it…..
http://sportske.jutarnji.hr/bivse-krilo-kauboja-izvan-sebe–poljaci-su-sinoc-napunili-gace–ne-sjecam-se-kad-sam-tako-uzivao-u-jednoj-utakmici-/1508798/
Pivaric isn’t that bad. We all hate him because of the Mamic factor but he was the best option we had at LB.
Hezonja just has to wait for his chance, which will probably be next season since Orlando is only 2 games back in the loss column for the 8th spot in the playoffs.
As for the rising stars game…..that thing is worthless. You see better basketball down at Rucker Park or at the local gym.
I really doubt the NFL wanted fix it son Lewis (a murderer) walked away as a winner.
What is your view on Peyton Manning retiring with a win getting a second ring against the Carolina Panthers. People think the NFL is fixed like wrestling scripted. Elway, Bettis,Lewis all retired after Superbowl wins.
“cestitke za rukometasi iz Bih I Srbije” lol
Bogdanović and Hezonja on the rising stars world team.
Be nice to see Hezonja get a good run out and show his talent.
He has struggled to “earn” consistent minutes but has shown his 3 point shooting and athleticism.
Skiles is a tough coach and is trying to instill defensive work ethic in Mario. But the whole roster is young and the number 5 pick should get a baseline of minutes every night (15 minutes).
Also why draft Hezonja if you have a log jam of 2/3 players ?
There are many teams that could use an athletic wing shooter.
Bogdanovic could also play a nice role as a shooter for a winning team.

i don’t see pranjic making the cut
Jedvaj, Strinic, Vrsaljko…all at LB are better options than Pranjic.
If Pranjic plays at the Euros, Arda Turan will tear him apart in that first game…probably cost us a goal and result in our midfield being flat due to someone having to help Pranjic defend.
Vrsaljko is a decent LB.
Supposedlt Jedvaj has done a good job in that position as well.
I would have given either on of these boys a shot over Pivaric anyway.
mrs u picku materinu ti u tvoje “people are idiots”
did you even watch the group stage, Poland playing out of their minds, us playing like total garbage, it just doesn’t add up to us smoking them today
“the fix” people are such idiots on this site
Jurecki didn’t play
Polish team recieved news that France lost, mood in the Camp was that Croatia had no chance
That was me^^^^^
We played horrible all tournament I even brought the fix up to my pops who wouldn’t have it LUDOOOOOOOO
Kolinda was there
THE COWBOYS DID IT ajmo momci!!!!!!!
Hopefully Jedvaj gets the green light for LB. Would be nice if Vrsaljko started at RB but we all know that isn’t going to happen.
Pivarić out six months?
I pray to GOD that somehow Strinić gets a look instead going back to ‘he who shall not be named’
LOL @ Živa
Either Poland shits the bed, or it’s a fix.
What about it possibly being that Cro actually playing great?
It looks like we’ll have to look for another LB since Josip Pivaric will be out for at least six months.
Holy shit…………WTF just happened. Poland just shit the bed really, really bad or this match was fixed big time.
Them being the hosts, you can probably rule out the fix.
Imagine being France right now.
Finally we managed to kick the French out of the tournament.
The two semi finals are Croatia against Spain and Norway against Germany.
That was unreal.
Handball: Croatia to the next round!
Handball getting really interesting now
This year has nothing to do with last year. Cavs won 2 games in the Finals last year and probably should have won game 1 as well….and that was with a team starting Matthew Dellavedova (spelling) as the PG. I have to think if they had Irving and Love they would have made the Finals 50/50.
This year is a different story. I went back and looked at the schedule from last year. Cavs killed GS in one of their two regular season games. What does it mean. Nothing. Games in January don’t mean anything.
That said, this GS team is the conversation as greatest team ever based on how they are playing right now. Have to win another title to confirm it. Also, just how bad of a coach was Mark Jackson. Any NBA team that hires him should be disbanded.
Poland : Croatia 10 : 15 @ half time
Handball
France lost
We have to beat Poland by 11
It’s 5-1 for us now
wouldn’t say health fucked over the cavs last year and i think that was proven with the recent ass beating they took at the hands of GS
Love Irving and Lebron all healthy and they got beat bad
it’s funny… Lebron tried getting another “Big 3” together to win some more titles, but even with Duncan retiring from the Spurs, I don’t see the Cavs as currently constructed winning a title over either GS or Spurs.
GS is a joy to watch. Would be shocked if they don’t win the title again.
Yep, Cavs had their chance last year in the Finals. But health fucked them over.
Now, GS has confidence. As long as Curry and Green stay healthy, they will be awesome. Curry and Green should be all NBA this year. Then you add in Klay Thompson, who is a great two-way player and all of the other pieces they have. Insane.
They are a joy to watch. Unselfish team. Love how they move the ball. Forget Curry’s shooting, just watch how they move the ball and how the player move without the ball. It is a clinic.
I think it hit Lebron like a ton of bricks when GS were destroying the Cavs.
Lebron has a 0% chance of winning a title as long as that GS team stays together and after this new salary cap, they probably will and dominate the west for the next 5+ years.
I think the Cavs are going to trade Love. Him and Lebron are just not working. Even with a health Lebron/Love/Kyrie, the Spurs would beat them in a 7 game series easily and the Warriors would probably sweep them.
Golden State Warriors are in a different class than both the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Golden State defeated both of them by 30+ points big margin victory.
I’m going to the Celtics v. Magic game this Friday night at TD Garden.
I’ll have a Petrovic jersey on and will be waving a NDH flag and shouting ZDS every time Mario touches the ball. Maybe I’ll bring a “I <3 CSR.com" sign too. Get some more clicks on this site, right?
It'll be great.
