Croatia manager Zlatko Dalić has named the 23-man roster that will take on Greece in the November two-legged World Cup playoff tie which will take place November 9th in Zagreb and November 12th in Piraeus, Greece. The winner will go to the World Cup in Russia next summer. The loser goes home.
Defender Vedran Ćorluka and midfielder Mateo Kovačić will remain off the roster due to injury. 20 year-old Everton midfielder Nikola Vlašić and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Ante Rebić have been added to the squad since the October qualifiers. Marcelo Brozović, Marko Pjaca, Duje Čop, Tin Jedvaj and Antonio Milić have been named alternates for the 23-man roster in case of injury.
GOALKEEPERS: Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Lovre Kalinić (Gent), Dominik Livaković (Dinamo)
DEFENDERS: Domagoj Vida (Dynamo Kiev), Dejan Lovren (Liverpool), Šime Vrsaljko (Atletico Madrid), Josip Pivarić (Dynamo Kiev), Matej Mitrović (Besiktas), Ivan Strinić (Sampdoria), Marin Leovac (PAOK), Zoran Nižić (Hajduk)
MIDFIELDERS: Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitić (Barcelona), Milan Badelj (Fiorentina), Marko Rog (Napoli), Filip Bradarić (Rijeka), Mario Pašalić (Spartak Moscow), Nikola Vlašić (Everton)
STRIKERS: Mario Mandžukić (Juventus), Nikola Kalinić (AC Milan), Andrej Kramarić (Hoffenheim), Ante Rebić (Eintracht Frankfurt), Ivan Perišić (Inter Milan)
badelj is DM but with the role of deep playmaker. he has a beautiful touch and range of passing, but he doesn’t tackle, he doesn’t win headers and he cant run. so he is not the anchor man which gives license for the other guys to attack. that’s why modric has to stay deep because the defensive duties must be shared. unless like anonymous says, put rog with badelj and push modric into more of free role. perisic and kramaric on the wings…could be nice
Good point anonymous – Perisic is best in motion as is Ronaldo and Bale. He needs space to run and carry. Most big tall fast guys are like that. Small tight spaces with a clogged midfield against bunker teams don’t suit his play. This is more suited to small passing, Mali nogomet style soccer.
Good observation.
In my opinion the reason Perisic hasn’t had a great game since the Euros is because the main thing Croatia has going for it is that we are a very good counter-attacking team.
Against good teams that come to play we will have ample opportunity to play on the counter, and it is then when Perisic thrives.
In this qualifying group we were in all the teams were shit, and Greece is also shit.
Why do you think Idemo would like Greece to attack?
@ Crnkovic – I don’t know if I agree with your opinion in Badelj being a playmaker. He was a DM for Dinamo, I could be wrong but Wikipedia has him as a deep lying playmaker in Hamburg and if I’m not not mistaken I think he’s a DM in Fiorentina but his natural position is certainly not playmaker but DM where I think he plays best. Both Modric and Rakitic have been used as deep lying and attacking midfielders at their clubs.
Do you guys think Modric is more useful for us on the NT as a deep lying mid or more attacking mid?
yeah that might be good
Makelele became a defensive mid because some of Madrids big players didn’t track back, so he just had to focus on his defensive role because they didn’t need him attacking with all the talent they had. Croatia hasn’t got that luxury, they need Modric attacking in my opinion and, he hasn’t lost any of his pace.
Badelj and Rog defensive mids, like against Spain.
the bigger problem we have is that we lack a DM. if we had a proper DM we could play modric and another either side of the DM, in a 433, and they could both get forward. except that DM is badelj and badelj is basically another playmaker…we don’t have all the different attributes to make the perfect modern team. so we just need to play very well as team, share the defensive and attacking duties around more evenly. people just need to step up that’s all. perisic hasn’t had a good game since the euros for NT. If he does, we will win, no problems 🙂
perisic left back, modric number 10, subasic is probably a good striker, lets give him a chance. lol
deep lying play- maker. not the same as a defensive midfielder…but yeah, he is not a natural number 10….it’s very rare for players too move into more advanced positions as the get older. notable exceptions being yaya toure,…normally the move the oter way. makelele was a number 10 at celta vigo before becoming increasingly defensive, Pirlo was also a 10 before his lack of pace pushed him further back and he became one of the greatest deep playmaker of all time. its nothing to be ashamed of. I don’t understand the obsession with pushing modric forward. we have other attacking players let them do their job
Crnkovic and Idemo have both gone on record saying that Modric isn’t a number 10 and hasn’t got the ability to play that role. In their opinion he is a defensive midfielder and that’s all he is capable of playing.
@BZ what I mean by complete is that he has the full range of technical and physical attributes. of course he is not yet at his peak, but he could be a very different type of player for us. like I keep saying on this site we produce elegant intelligent technical midfield maestros in abundance. i’m enjoying seeing young players with different attributes coming through. we need more dynamism on the pitch so I like Rog, i’m sure he is learning a lot at Napoli and before the end of this season will have played many key matches in serie A and champions league. its a long season, 50+ games, Rog will get a chance and I back him to take it
@Slavonac It is not what I can come up with that matters.
It took Kramaric 8 minutes for him to come up with more goals (2) than Mandzukic has scored all year.
Kramaric is the only forward I would currently call up. The rest would be new faces.
@Crnkovic-honestly, if Rog is the most complete player we have, then we will lose to Greece.
Your definition of “complete player” is subjective. I think Modric is by far the most complete. He can play the 10, then go back & be the best CDM on the team hands down.
It’s a shame that Rog isn’t getting much of a chance.
If he was loaned out to another Serie A club, he would start regularly and show us more of what he can do.
He has skill (like pretty much all Croatian midfielders) but we need to see more of what he can do over a large sample.
He’s definitely a runner, who does a great job at cutting off his man from the ball, but with these short spurts of play, I can only ever see all this passing and dribbling skill in highlight videos. Hopefully he wins a starting spot this season.
ummmm…anonymous…you said Mandzukic got 1 goal in 6 games….
who tore it up for us? we’ve been talking about the abysmal service our forwards have received and thats all you can come up with?
…and the next guy that compares Kalinic to Mandzo should get their head examined.
Rog is the most complete player we have. he is strong but he is much more than a workhorse. he has a lot of skill. he can turn on a sixpence and run at the defence. he can shoot from anywhere. he has a fantastic shot and excellent passing skills. he reminds me of steven gerrard. its just his hunched posture that is deceptive, makes him look awkward. he’s actually the archetypal modern midfielder. he combines aggression with subtlety. the sooner he starts playing for NT the better. i’d have him ahead of rakitic or badelj any day…
NAPRID
=U=
@Anon- you say “Mandzukic in lineup to score goals, not to be d forward.”
I say, you need to go to bed. I have him in the lineup to:
A)score goals (whose was our leading goal scorer in qualifying? Mandzukic. Who scored 5 times more goals than our 2 best players (Modric & Perisic) combined? Mandzukic
B)be the best defensive forward I have ever seen, (single most readon we regain possession do often)
C)to be the best long ball target on the pitch.(Even the great Buffon sends everything his way, key to Juventus’ possession.)
D)be an underrated passer
Puhleez no more Rakitic, Pivaric, Mandzukic, Lovren MOLIM TE! Samo napred.
Muric has two skill sets that none of our current forwards have – scores from outside the box and creates his own.
Top 10 goals from Robert Muric (currently at Braga) Video only 3:50 long – check him out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctwFRwvQRqA
I still remember Pjaca’s performance against Spain. He was an absolute workhorse.
And what most people dont know is he was the initial set-up to the Perisic goal..then flew all the way upfield and was in the box waiting for the potential cross or rebound. (Which is the last play in the below Pjaca vs spain Highlights)
https://youtu.be/XYHB-K5kqzY
I don’t know what your watching.
@idemo – Mandzukic never in position to receive the service. He’s helping Badelj half the time.
Just a few weeks ago, people were scoffing and laughing at our suggestions on Pasalic and Vlasic – yet, here they already are.
Hoping for Perica (a poor man’s Edin Dzeko) and in a few years Robert Muric (a very poor man’s Gheorge Hagi – left foot and all.
Obviously not saying they will be as good as them, but they have similar playing styles. Two guys with unique skill sets in our system that can potentially be very useful in the future.
What service have we been providing to them…….
Nice looking roster.
The 3 young guns i want to see out there are Vlašić, Rebić and Pjaca.
I have a feeling they would all play like they are hungry to show what they can do. Which in turn would hopefully have the veterans step up along with them.
@Maminjo
Name some that would love Mandzukic, for me San Marino comes to mind.
Outside of Kramaric, why exactly would they want them?
Most of those countries wouldn’t be able to provide service to them as much as Croatia does, so, you’re saying they would suddenly start scoring more?
How many countries would love to have our “weak” forwards in Mandžo, Kalinić and Kramarić, lol
Exactly.
My final say is this:
Croatia cannot afford to use him as Juventus does – we have a lack of quality goal scoring forwards as it is.
You are all but admitting that he can’t score anymore and want to justify giving him a starting forward position because he is good defensively and provides service?
Have you noticed our lack of goals lately?
Once again, people are blurring what players are doing for their clubs with what they are doing for Croatia.
Didn’t know Higuain and Dybala were Croatian.
He is not providing service or scoring goals for Croatia – end of story.
Mandzukic is in the lineup to score goals, not to be a defensive forward.
@Slavonac-i was more taken aback when he said Mandzukic is only giving 50-75%?
The guy hi presses all game, then when we are up he runs back and shuts down the wings. 110% effort to me.
@Soul- you keep saying Mandzukic needs service, which is partially true…but don’t forget how much he provides service. Just ask Higuain & Dybala.
1)Headers back across the box.
2)Winning possession midfield.
3)Making the simple (but oft overlooked) smart pass
Loved how Dalic rotated him & Kramaric later in the game. Gets hard to chase down backpasses to goalies all game.
@Bobby V
I agree that the striker position is a weakness of ours and one where we could take a risk, but I think Kramaric should play as the lone striker if we play a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Subasic
Vrsaljko Mitrovic Lovren Strinic
Badelj Rog
Vlasic Modric Perisic
Kramaric
On Mandzukic you gotta understand that most people on this site loved his finishing when he scored 1 goal in Euro qualifying and zero at the Championships, you not gonna get a lot of people wanting that sort of productivity out of the team.
Manndzukic – 1 goal in 6 matches for Croatia in 2017.
Perica, with a bad team from Italy, gets a chance and scores against Juventus, a team that would easily beat Kosovo, Turkey, Finland and Iceland.
Mandzukic couldn’t do shit with world class midfielders against those same clubs.
What is so out of the picture here? Like Bobby V says, you’ve got nothing to lose, although I would definitely play Kramaric again. He has shown to deserve it.
I sprinkle when i tinkle
Stipe Perica?!?! Start over Mandzukic?!?!
@Nemanja
If we’re Serbs, then doesn’t that make us MORE Serbian than you?
You guys were occupied by the Ottomans for centuries. Lots of mixing…which means that we’re the pure bread Serbs (and you are the Orthodox Turk), no?
😉
Stipe Perica should not even be in the discussion until he wins a regular spot in Udinese’s starting eleven AND actually starts scoring some goals.
I like the kid, but Mandžo, Kalinić, Kramarić, Rebić, and even Santini are all ahead of him as a striker. I would only ever call him up with one of the last roster spots, but not actually play him yet.
Hope to see you in the World cup fellow Catholic Serbs 😀
Mandžukić is ready and now after red card will be rested.
Just need to give him some serivce.
Stipe Perica gets a look after November.
@ BZ
Mind blowing that Luka Modrić keeps making it to the world 11.
He leads into Russia and we make a deep run then hands down he will be the greatest nogometaš of all time.
Rebić is on form and will be on fire for us.
Vlašić can’t help but run at you. Every ball he touches goes forward.
@ Idemo
I pray that Greece thinks we suck based on recent form and says we “can have a go” against Croatia.
The new look crew can press a bit but can really Contra.
Subasic
Vrsaljko Vida. Lovern Strinic
Badelj
Vlasic Perisic
Modric
Mandzukic
Kramaric
If we went solely on club form, Suker would never have played in France 98 and hence won the golden boot since he couldn’t even got on for more than 1 minute for Real Madrid at the time
@Andrej L – Yes, 4 out of the 9 games Udinese has played, but, more importantly, you totally missed my point, didn’t you?
What good is club form? They aren’t playing with their club. They are playing for Croatia.
It’s time to respond to the obvious half-ass efforts on the field.
Maybe not all at once, but, the striker position is one where you have absolutely nothing to lose.
It’s a good thing Finland bunkered up until we scored. Had they opened up from the beginning, they would have beaten us.
Finland was the better team after that goal.
Stipe Perica is one for future no doubt, very mobile and some skills for a big man, more talented than Mandzukic in my opinion.
Hope Greece tries to pull a fast one on the world and comes out attacking
@ Maminjo/Rog convo
Rog is a great talent but should probably be loaned out. I agree that he really doesn’t fit the Napoli system, only because he gets looked over so much. In my opinion, he needs to play on a team where he can play through mistakes and not one of the best teams in the world when he’s only 22.
Badelj at this stage is much more consistent and a proven CDM. No need to take chances against weaker competition in a world cup playoff.
@ Bobby V
Perica has played a total of 4 games this year and scored one goal on one of the worst teams in Serie A. Dude has no business getting a sniff on our squad. A bit sad since we had high hopes after he was picked up by Chelsea.
I hope this boosts Rebic’s confidence since he’s been out of the Repka rotation.
As bad as our strikers have been over the past few years – our weakest position by far – why hasn’t Stipe Perica, who scored yesterday against Juventus, been given a call up?
Now that some of our players have decided to give less than 100% for the national team, it’s time to start calling players who will.
Unfortuanately, it’s time to forget about club form exclusively. How about national team form? Doesn’t that make sense?
A 100% Perica is better than a 50-75% Mandzukic. A 100% Vlasic is better than a 50% Rakitic.
I’d also like to see a coach who calls on players depending on our opponent.
Stipe Perica would be excellent against a team that bunkers…like Greece.
Lovren took his picture off of INSTA and took LFC out of his bio
Of course he would be not only is that team great but they also play great style of passing.
Rog would start on a majority of teams in Serie A and Bundesliga
@idemo
RE: Your comment…
“How do you rationalize your comment towards anon with the call up of rog who has nothing going currently? Are you pro-rog? (outside of potential talent)”
In my comment I said that you call a player up if he’s in form, producing on the field, and plays a position of need.
Rog is in form, but he’s not producing on the field for his club team. However, he does play a position of need. On account of him being young too, I would definitely call him up…BUT
I would never suggest we actually start Rog.
If it’s a choice between Rog or Badelj, it’s easily Badelj. He starts and plays for Fiorentina AND he’s already played many games with Modric (and they work well together).
Rog should continue to be called up because we have noone really other than Badelj as a CDM, and Rog is still a young prospect that we should invest in (we should always save 2-3 bench spots on the team for young players).
Also, it’s not such a terrible thing that he cannot play regularly for the best team in Serie A. He’s 22 and he actually doesn’t play in the style that Napoli plays. They play beautiful football, and he’s more of a high effort workhorse. He probably should not be on that team. Badelj probably would be glued to the bench on that team also.
then you’re sitting Rakitic for for Rog, which in general is crazy but as of late I wouldn’t care
Badelj or Rog? Why don’t we have both?
Someone go to Brazil and find us a LB and a witch doctor for Pjaca knee and we win WC
@Soul- great quote:“free the little man up to do big things”
Works on so many levels.
Badelj is solid no doubt and has a little skill in him as well.
When he tires one bit … ROG to the rescue!
@ Luka Modrić faithful
Buffon; Alves, Ramos, Bonucci, Marcelo; Modric, Kroos, Iniesta; Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo.
Bust ?
WORLD CLASS !
ZDS
Free the little man up to do BIG THINGS !
@ Slavonac
I will be EXTRA hype for November … that’s how we do it in Dalmacija !!!
U boj
@ Svima
You know that feeling like we have pushed around the ptich …
Well that is going to end November 9th.
Dalić has called up the horses to be put in the courses.
Pressure and attack for 180+ minutes.
Za Dom …
SPREMNI !
@Soul- siding with @Idemo in the Badelj vs Rog debate, and I am not a fan of Badelj.
@Slav- true about Brozo’s bent knees. Never gave it much thought. If he were not injured, I would hope Dalic would have called him up over Pasalic or Bradaric. He earned a spot with his goals vs Iceland. (not a fan of Brozo starting wven if healthy.)
What stands out most about Pasalic is that he is slow. Reminds me of Rakatic. I don’t mind him being called up as he will ride the pine regardless. There is some potential there.
Let’s face it, the players Dalic called up are the best they have right now. It’s do or die, no excuses.
I had no clue brozo was injured :0…..brozo is completely lost on the right there is no point to even dissect him there
sari is wrong about rog
Carrera is wrong about pasalic
why don’t you take a second to sit back. the KID turned 22 this year, has had absolutely no security. and most of you hold him to some extremely high standard. at least he fucking plays
Badelj can already provide Luka not to track back, badelj plays every week, badelj is a vet, badelj knows how to make smart foul. Rog WILL NOT start over Badelj. Pipe dream. get over it.
I’m not sure I’d call Rog clumsy but I also wouldn’t called him skilled or agile either…but we don’t necessarily need him to be. I’d prefer he plays hard-nosed and physical and let others do the distribution.
on that note…Brozovic always looks like he doesn’t bend his knees and off balance!
Rog is definitely down with the on field BBB:
Bunker
Busting
Beasts
Greece needs to finally physically feel what ZDS Croatian football is all about.
Rog is needed to lay the wood.
Modrić is not to track back at all in November.
@Horvat- 100% agree with you on Pasalic.
Pjaca was getting time at Juve before the injury. It looked as though he was potentially become a regular starter.
I’ll throw a nuance into the “don’t go to big clubs” theory. If you do go to a big club, go to one like Juve & Real who need to rest their superstars in less important games. Worked for Kovacic, and was working for Pjaca.
Rog is clumsy. He runs with his COG so far forward, he is bound to be a yellow card machine. I do not see any upside to his game. Hope I’m wrong.
Love how some guys post as anonymous to back up their thoughts, just to make it seem like their ideas are supported. We know who you are!
Impressive line up. Samo naprid.
I’d love to see Pjaca, Kovacic and Rebic play together. Brozovic’s kicks from downtown rival Kranjcar’s.
I agree Horvat! although I think Pjaca started to get rotated in the play more regularly just before he got hurt last year. he appeared in 14 games, most of those were around the time he got hurt…but he was getting minutes.
Pasalic on the other hand seems to be a non impact player as of right now. I probably need to watch him more but he’s never done much to impress me.
I think Rog has potential to become great. The kid has talent and he’s an Ivica Olic like workhorse and bulldozed. Certainly not lazy like Rakitic.
I think he made a big mistake going to a big team like Napoli at such a young age. The fact that he even comes off the bench on a team like that is impressive.
Had the Kid gone to a smaller seria A team, we could have had a very good player right now.
I believe Pjaca made the same mistake. Hopefully, Rog, Pjaca and Perica get loaned out in January.
On the other hand, it’s players like Pašalić I think are overrated. The kid has done well for his age so far, however, I don’t see any special talent in him. He’s slow, he cannot dribble, supposedly he needs to work on defending. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
idemo…as far as I can recall, Brozo is injured bro!
+ I don’t think rob falls in that new and exciting players category…. he’s been there for a while now. Vlasic falls in line under that new and exciting, he actually tried to play for a win against arsenal
@slavonac
no!!!
im trying to use the logic in juxtaposition with rog and brozo
someone has already said it up there!^^^
rebic is In form and playing. called
rog no form 10-15 bench minutes. called
brozo plays. some club form. without his 2 goals in Zagreb we miss out on playoffs. is used in a position where we don’t have a player. ( how good he’s used there is another convo) NOT CALLED UP.
idemo…we’ve had this discussion about Rog. whats the proper balance if you are saying he doesn’t deserve to be there? he’s young, he plays on the top 3 teams in Italy as a sub, he’s played well in some spurts with the NT…played like shit vs Finland (but so did everyone else but Modric) and even did well with the little he played vs Ukraine.
we constantly complain we aren’t bringing in new and young players and then you criticize the fact that Rog has been called again?
am I understanding this?
@Maminjo
How do you rationalize your comment towards anon with the call up of rog who has nothing going currently? Are you pro-rog? (outside of potential talent)
Like I said, I everyone stays healthy and some of these youngsters take their game to the next level, we will be SERIOUS World Cup contenders!
Let’s hope we finally have a good coach. Way to early to tell, however, he has pulled some good strings so far.
maminjo…samo ti njemu reci!
😉
My comment was for Anonymous
Nice conclusion.
Welcome to the world, where coaches play players who they like and sometimes sit players they don’t like…and where a player can play like shit one year, then turn it around the next year.
Kovač playing Rebić because they know each other from the Croatian NT doesn’t matter right now, especially since he’s scoring goals and killing it in a top 3 league. Doesn’t matter how he got here… He’s here now.
You act like this scenario doesn’t happen regularly in football.
Fact is, it does and he’s playing like one of the best wingers in the Bundesliga RIGHT NOW. You call him up because he’s in form, producing on the field, and plays a position of need…not because he sucked two years ago and needed a Croatian coach to give him a chance, lol.
How about the shutout defense in the Northern Ireland friendly? Marin Leovac at left back…
My starting 11 would be:
Subasic; Vrsaljko, Mitrovic, Vida (assuming recovery), Leovac; Badelj; Kramaric, Rakitic, Modric, Perisic; Mandzukic.
Strinic could start at left back (I’ve always liked his approach to the position), but Leovac got the job done more simply in the opportunities he has had. We need some solid players as well as the stars: hence Badelj, Mitrovic, and Leovac in my opinion. Rog and Rebic make solid subs; and let’s not forget the game-changing potential of Nikola Kalinic and Mario Pasalic.
Truth Troll can’t resist reverting down to the level of childish deragotory name calling of our players
Anonymous…what are you talking about?
Rebic has a lot of tools and if he could get his form going on a consistent basis along with a coach that utilizes him to his strengths…he could be a very good player. many young players have their ups and downs…some never recover and spiral, other eventually see the light and make personal adjustments to help their career.
Rebic was always a good potential but he began to be a douche bag…much like Livaja is…you don’t see that?
Rebić has disappointed until the last month or so. It’s too early to start calling him a star.
All I’m saying is the kid has certain qualities that can propel him to greatness. He has a lot more talent than guys like Mandžukić, Olic, Petric, Kalinić, only to name a few.
I have little doubt he could become as good or even better than Perisic. Of course, nobody knows whether he will actualize that potential.
Some of you are extremely fickle or are just exposing your “we are in a melt down” Rebić and Strinić were voted off survivor island, now it’s a eye for talent.
Are we throwing whatever at the Greeks?
Why no mention of Rebić since week 1 In budesliga his performances have been pretty much consistent? I think some
Of you are just looking for something to hold onto, the level of criticism this player received here and now he is your savior.
In conclusion Rebić would be playing second division football if a Croatian wasn’t the coach of Frankfurt.
There is not way Lovren can play for the National Team considering the way he played on the weekend.
He may never get a start again for Liverpool. Can’t risk playing him in a big game.
Vlasic looked great against Arsenal. Gave away the ball that led to a goal but the game was already over by that point.
I hope he gets some game time against Greece. His speed, dribbling and passing is all on point.
Marko Rog has not done one thing in his career for club or not to be warranted a call up over Brozović. Even with brozo dip in form
I feel sorry for “the Truth”. He has no interest in following his Serbian team for obvious reasons. At the same time he has to watch Croatia’s greatest generation ever (in my opinion).
If everyone stays health and players like Rebić, Pjaca, Halilovic, Rog, Vlasic, and even young Brekalo take their game to the next level, we will be serious World Cup contenders. We will have one of the greatest midfields and attacks in the world.
Rebić has potential for greatness. He’s very, very fast. He’s strong, he can dribble and has a powerful and accurate shot. Sometimes these young kids need time to develope experience and confidence. Many good players were considered a bust until they hit their mid 20’s. Look at Mandžukić, Rakitic, Perisic, Kalinić, Subašić, Petric, Kramarić, Prso, Olic, Subašić, Pranjic, etc..
————–Subasic————-
Vrsaljko – Lovren – Vida – Strinic
—————Badelj——————-
—–Rakitic———-Modric———-
Vlasic————————-Perisic
————-Mandzukic—————
Lol, truth is so bitter
Watch Rebić score now, lol
I can sense the ever growing hype and excitement of the diaspora for ante rebitch
Our former striker of the future after wc 2014, not to be seen again for 3 years
Rebitch is fine. He has a chance to be an average player over time got the repka. Sometimes these guys take a while to find themselves. Still relatively young
Just don’t go thinking this guy is Ronaldo 2.0 or even a high level European player.
Dalic showing signs of an eye for talent.
1) No Santini is the best move. Not even on potential list.
Have no clue what anybody saw in that guy.
2)Vlasic & Rebic exactly what we needed for now & future. Cop wasn’t cutting it (pun intended.
On the downside, it looks like he is going chalk with Strinic and/or Pivaric. Guess Perisic and company will be doing more backtracking covering for these guys. Oh well, vs Greece not a big deal, but it eon’t wotk against better competition.
This has Ancelotti’s fingerprints all over it
Yah i didnt think that Brozo not being called was because of his performance. I thought maybe he picked up an injury or something.
Apparently Dalic said that Brozovic, Pjaca, and Jedvaj are going to be monitored over the next couple weeks and if they are healthy enough they could be put into the team.
I heard Dalic wants Ladić and Srna to be his coaches
@ Adame – he’s too inconsistent and theres not really space for him anyway
Whats up with Brozovic not making the squad?
Toooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!
Now we are talking.
Dalić already ahead of the game with squad call up.
Vlašić – Rebić – Strinic will all have a pep in their step after the call up.
Greece will spend all their time scouting the past and Dalić is dialing up the future.
November 9th will be electric.
Full attack pressing from the opening whistle!
U boj …
