Absolute disaster for Dinamo. They took a 2-goal lead into their 2nd leg match against PAOK Thursday night in Greece, in the Conference League Round of 16. And instead of having their name in the hat for the quarterfinal draw Friday evening, their European season is now over.
Dinamo did it to themselves and could not contain a PAOK team that came to play in the 1st half. They meant business and scared three goals within the first 42 minutes of the match. Dinamo would level the aggregate score moments after the restart through Hoxha, but it wasn’t meant to be. PAOK would grab two more goals to dismiss Dinamo. Shame for Croatian football and the HNL’s coefficient rating.
Watched the full Man City game today. Kova was absolutely flawless
Great match for kristijan jakic, two big goals vs Wolfsburg. Majer didn’t come on until later in the game
Mateo and Josko both starting for city.
Nice to see Budimir get another despite the loss
I always wondered why Jakic never got playing time for the repka
I realize he may not be a stud, but I’m quite sure he’s been used in a three man defence and can play in the midfield
Seems like a good utility guy to have around
At the end of the day, I guess he just doesn’t make the grade
He was injured for most of this season and then was riding the bench at Frankfurt when he came back. After he got transferred to Augsburg, he was immediately made the starting DM and has played well every game there. He should be back on the repka soon.
Budimir with a Goal tho they are down 4-1 to luka and co
Good to see he is still scoring
Not sure if Luka played. I only just saw the score quick
@Davor
Get out of bed
Here is a link to the game
Luka is starting (as expected)

The new home kits are not “atrocious”, they’re a bit different but okay. One thing i said in the past is you need to consider how it looks from TV angle. The smaller checkers always just make our shirt look white cos from a distance that’s how it comes off. Good thing about this jersey is on TV you will actually be able to see we are wearing checkers.
I have a Q: which gen do u think is our best team? I personally still think ’98 was our best team across the board, wonder what other ppl think? If you could mix and match tho haha wow, imagine if u could have modric setting up Suker or Boksic? If our 2018-2024 teams had those two strikers wooh boy lol, world champs here we come ! 😀
This is true.
A perfect example are our Euro2020 grey and black away kits. I loved the fact that they went with black kits and grey checkers. Great away color combination…but they ruined in by making the checkers tiny and inconsistent. It just looked like a basic black kit on TV because of it.
We’ll have to see how the giant checkers look on TV. The problem is that the back of the kits are likely just going to be white..so there will be a lot of white on these kits (especially since they chose not to extend the checkers onto the sleeves either). But who knows, it might look better on the field.
Away kits look good in the photo on this site, however on that footy site they look a lot more bright blue (which I hope is not true). I prefer the darker blue look. Maybe it’s the Ujo in me, but I just love the look of black on our checkers. World Cup 2018 away kits were the best, and the Euro2020 away kits could have been our best had they made the checkers larger.

Eintracht extends Igor Matanovic’s contract by a further 3 years from 2026 to Jun 2029.
Excerpt from the above article:
“Igor has a great character,” said Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche. “[…] We’ve showed him the path we’d like to take with him. Igor will be an integral part of our team from the summer onwards.”
Really hope he can show his worth at Frankfurt next season, we are still pending on an up-and-coming striker breakthrough for the team.
One time PAOK ,always PAOK
Cunt
@Davor
Gentle reminder that Luka Vusković’s Radomiak are playing #1 team Jagiellonia
Kick-off is 3pm Saturday (Poland time = Croatia time)
Don’t be late
Plz do your best to watch the entire 90′
Thx
Petkovic to Manchester United?
Best thing about this series is that it confirms for me that Martin Baturina is going to become a star player.
Good to hear this amid Dinamo’s disappointing exit, just think it’s a shame Baturina couldn’t showcase himself anymore in Europe this season.
Unless he goes to a development team like RB Leipzig, I’d rather he just stay at Dinamo another year anyway.
Kotarski has the Tude. Love it for a goalkeeper
I think he had an up and down series.
Had some good saves, but also could have done better on others.
I’d say he was slightly above average (and obviously much better than Nevistic). Hopefully he continues to develop for us at PAOK.
Dinamo shit the bed nothing else to say. They started to play when they were losing 3-0
Ogiwara yellow card – he didn’t even touch him – PAOK player just fell over
Unreal referring
I thought the ref was fine this game, definitely not on the list of things to complain about
Only watched 2nd half
Baturina looked good – was really trying to push forward / make things happened – but didn’t have much around him to help him out
Didn’t notice Sucic at all
Sucic had a nice long range rocket on goal. Too bad it was deflected. That was going in.
sramota
Do they VAR the non-goals ?
Not sure that shouldn’t have counted
The goalie punches it out and hits him in the face and bounces in (yes both his hands where up – stupidly – but side angle not clear it hits his hands – looks like hits him in the face (he wasn’t expecting it) and goes in)
Dinamo were robbed there I think
Sounds like Hajduk thing to say… 😜 Are Dinamo fans really blaming the referees here?
Wow it’s allowed in one case but not another lol!
The guy is a coward for putting his hands up to protect his face from the ball. Doesn’t deserve a goal for that reaction.
I didn’t like the punch out from Kotarski either.
Two players, frightened to death from contact…one throwing his hands up and the goalkeeper choosing to punch the ball away (instead of grabbing it).

I’m sorry, my friend, but you should have known that any hand contact by an attacker is a foul according to the rules..! Have a nice day from Thessaloniki !!!☺☺
Another cross this time from a corner and its 4 – 1. Time to switch channels and watch our Handball team do battle with Austria in an Olympic qualifier.
Kotarski made a few good saves for PAOK
Much better from Dinamo, Kotarski with a couple of great saves for PAOK.
Hoxha makes it 3 – 1 and Spikic misses a sitter.
3 1 dinamo woke up it appears
Who scores for dinamo if no penalty?
3 – 0 down on the cusp of HT. Looks like it’s all over ?
I hate playing for draws and parking the bus. This is what happens.
Dinamos back line are atrocious
WOW…absolute disaster…what are they doing in the back???
Dinamo 2 – 0 down after 33 minutes and it is not looking good. Lack of height in defence is causing Dinamo heaps of problems with crosses into the box.
Jebiga…Dinamo’s bending over and taking it in the ass from the greeks.
0:2 in the 36th minute. Their defence is looking terrible.
Htio bih odgovoriti na pitanje o ljutnji na koje mi je skrenuta pažnja.
Sve je počelo dok sam šetao zagrebačkim parkom. Radioaktivni Srbin me ugrizao za ruku. Otkad sam ljuta. To se događa jednom mjesečno i ne mogu kontrolirati radioaktivnog Srbina u sebi.
Moj ujak Benko Parkervić mi je rekao da sam sjeban i da treba da se preselim u Beograd.
joj…..as you say “copy cat”
Just a thought but imagine all our top players stayed in the HNL and what would that do for National side?
Would we be better by having most players work cohesively on a regular basis?
Do the better leagues help hone our top player’s abilities or would the HNL become a top tier league?
Obviously, this will never happen due to the money being offered but the countries that have won world cups in the past, have often had their top talent playing together.
When 50%-75% of your players are playing for Bayern, Madrid, or Juventus the chances of success are considerably greater.
This also shows how world class our National side has been. With little or no time to create any kind of cohesion they still perform.
Interesting 🤔 thoughts 💭
Zanimljive misli.
I’ve said this many times friend
Look at Spain in their glory days
Sure they were stacked but look for example how well say luka can play with kova and broz for the repka
Could you imagine they played all year together ? Sure it might not be that much better, but chances are it will be
It’s cooking with gas
Of course we can’t really do this in Croatia
But I’m always happy when 2 or more of our guys are together
It’s why i Always say putting orsic or petko by themselves is good for sure
But you put them together as a sub, it’s like a bit of a super sub now
Just an example, relax Dalmatians
We can not measure what familiarity can do In many sports
Home field and home crowd
Again we can’t really give numbers but you can’t tell me Croatian fans haven’t turned around matches before with their strong energy
It’s like home field
I’m sure the guys get to learn how the balls bounce in Zagreb or in split then some random field in Hungary
But yes I would love to see more of our guys play on club teams together and by Croatian coaches who maybe won’t always favour our guys but will give them the benefit of the doubt
Unpopular popular opinion. If you cheer for a Greek team to beat Dinamo today you don’t live a ZDS lifestyle
It’s gonna be a tough atmosphere, with no Dinamo supporters, and possibly serb ultras showing up to shit disturb. We just need to defend well, and as said, hopefully get an early goal on the counter to put the game to bed early.
Tough match ahead, let’s hope it is not another Sparta Prague when Dinamo squandered a 3 – 1 win at home and lost the return leg 4 – 1. I think they have a lot more depth this time around and with a bit of luck will make the QF.
