Already five goals up from the first leg in Luxembourg, GNK Dinamo Zagreb completed the formality of securing their place in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round with a 1-0 win over CS Fola Esch Tuesday night.
Knowing that the match would be more of a training exercise than anything else, Dinamo only attempted four shots on goal before Andrej Kramarić‘s 78th minute penalty earned Krunoslav Jurčić’s team a 1-0 victory. On a night in which the coach fielded a much-changed lineup that included a goalkeeping debutant in 20-year-old Oliver Zelenika, the Croatian champions can now start planning for a third qualifying round tie against FC Sheriff of Moldova, whom they will face in the first leg at home next week.
Dinamo defeated this same Sheriff side last year in the third qualifying round, 5-0 over two legs, and are expected to e favorites in the tie again this time around.
DINAMO: Zelenika – Pinto, Šimunović, Šimunić, Pivarić – Sare – Halilović, Husejinović (od 60. Pamić), Antolić (od 60. Ademi), Fernandes – Kramarić
damn it…….good catch……wont happen again.
u accidentally spelled hajduk with a capital H there once ziva somethinig u vowed to NEVER DO AGAIN ! lol
Lima is no longer with jadan i mali Hajduk. that means he can go play for any team he wants, including Dinamo.
Lets say you work for Apple and are one of the engineers for the iPhone, does that mean you cant go work for Samsung and their Galaxy phone when your contract expires. Lima has no sentimental attachment to jadan i mali hajduk, he didn’t grow up in Dalmacija wanting to play for jadan i mali hajduk. He is free to go to the best fit or highest bidder.
jadan i mali Hajduk fans will get over it. They welcomed Dinamo’s captain (Kranjcar) years ago.
And Jurcic is a below average coach…….would love to know what he has done to make anyone think he is a good tactician.
Lima going straight from hajduk to Dinamo, only incurs the wrath of die hard hajduk fans.
They let Lima wear the captain’s arm band as a farewell present, and this is how he returns the favor by joining their arch-rivals Dinamo, LOL. Real hajduk fans must be incensed. Don’t try and play it off like it’s nothing Ziva.
Also, Jurcic is decent, which means not good but not bad either. And if a blind man could coach Dinamo, kuna hoarding Mamic would have fired Jurcic and got some lowly rated coach to manage the club for 5.000 Euro per year.
Dinamo played like junk today, i hope they don’t make it to CL seriously they don’t belong there i dont want to see them lose 4-0 5-0 every game !
Jurcic is not a decent coach……….he is not good. A blind man could coach dinamo in the HNL.
Don’t why that would be unthinkable of Lima going to Hajduk. Others have done it before. Dude is not lazy (errr, I mean a dalmatinac) and he is not croatian. He has no attachment to any team except to the team paying him.
Jurcic is a decent coach. Dinamo’s got a high noon shoot out with Sheriff next week. And I think Modri will win the draw.
But the real fun begins in the Play-Off round, where Dinamo looks to be unseeded. Just hope they don’t get a team like Basel.
Migliore ended up being a little bitch. They don’t call him El Loco for nothing. Dario Kresic is rumored to take his place.
While Ruben Lima is about to do the unthinkable…the Ex-hajduk man is rumored to sign with Dinamo!
haha that does look like him
also, can i just say on all u stimac-bashers you are absolutely all missing the nbr #1 MSOT IMPORTANT POINT abou thim
HE IS THE MOST FASHIONABLE COACH SINCE JOACHIM LOEWE..

.
At least Jurcic figured out instantaneously that Bilic changed our formation at the start of the second half against Italy at Euro 2012 from a 4-4-2 to a 4-2-3-1. Stimac was doing the Hrvatska TV play by play and he had absolutely no idea about the half time formation change made my Bilic! He had no clue at the time of the change, during the second half, or even after the game that a change was made to the formation! This is the head coach of our national team! LOL!!!!!!
Is Jurcic a good coach? Nope…. Is he a weird looking guy? Yep…. But, he is a better coach than Stimac, which is not saying much at all.
Stimac has been incredibly lucky so far in these qualifiers.
Both Macedonia games, the second game against Wales, the second half of the Serbia game, and on June 7th we witnessed Gord Strachan make an absolute buffoon out of Stimac’s lack of coaching capabilities. He had his way with him and it was effortless.
If Suker is a puppet what does that make Stimac? Why else would he start Sammir against Scotland and leave him in all game? Cause he was given the orders from Mamic and he followed through just like a puppet with no soul.
Mamic loves Jurcic cause he can shit all over him when he wants. That’s exactly what he did during the Dinamo – Zadar game at the half when it was 0-0. Any real coach wouldn’t take that crap but like how Ziva calls Suker (puppet) the same nick name applies for Jurcic at Dinamo.
I’d like a Kruno Jurcic retro Croatia Zagreb jersey signed. I’d wear that around every day with pride and if people ask, I’d tell them I’m wearing the kit of the greatest coach in HNL history, hands down.
Dinamo should have about 3 or 4 goals. Nobody can finish.
snoozefest 2013
Dinamo game

I will say, the new deep navy dinamo kit looks pretty nice.
Thinking of getting one with mamic’s name on the back.
What a boss IMO lol
