Ivica was willing enough to report in yet another FAN ZONE from New York for the Croatia-Belarus match. However, the first venue he attempted to watch the game at had a horrible feed so Ivica had to scatter around town during halftime to find another place to watch. He was so focused on just getting to a place that had the game that he wasn’t able to take any pictures or interview fellow Croatians about the match.
Nonetheless, Ivica did record a pre-game video that I’d like to share with you all- the effort cannot go without reward. Ivica is paving the way for all Prva Generacija members to send in their pictures and videos from match day or anything else relative to the site to be posted on CSR.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Don’t be shy! Whether you’re at a Croatian event or just wearing your Croatian jersey in an exotic place on vacation, send it to us. We want to share your experience with the rest of the worldwide Croatian community.
Thank you again Ivica and better luck next time with the feed and FAN ZONE. You’re efforts are always appreciated here at CSR.
Gerat success! haha
@ Ivica,
Your first piece of spam. Congratulations. You've finally made it.
I'll delete it later when I get home from work.
Ivica,
Once again, great stuff man. Great looking shirt too…haha
I should have brought everyone coverage from the Croatian Hall in San Pedro. You guys in NY just blow us out of the water, a little embarrassing to post. If we are back there again for Belarus i will post our shame.
Great to have you with us. I can see a CroatianSoccer Report.com live from NY in the near future.
As for Rijeka and the others its time to go picking up the scraps. Zagreb should take Lovrek back, Rijeka should go for Ljubojevic, Hjorve Vukovic, Dario Jertec or Stjepan Poljak or Marko Maric. See if they can revive these guys that have lost their way. Seems to be Rijeka's speciality going by the boosts they gave to Vugrinec, Mikic and Dalovic.
Great Prediction Ivica! Well done.
Completely off topic – but looks like Hajduk have tied up Anas and Ahmad Sharbini for Hajduk, but not sure it is for the players. Not sure why Ahmad needs to keep hand holding his brother. He could have easily cut loose of HNL and gone to Belgium. He says he wants to challenge for titles but where does winning HNL really get him. He should have set off for a stronger league.
As for Anas it's been clear he's just not been able to get much attention with Rijeka. Rijeka clearly have no idea how to make money. They had a massive asset here and just didn't know how to make money out of him.
If either of Dinamo or Hajduk had this guy for the last 2 years with the form he's produced we could have made at least £5m from him. Anas has just had to get out of Rijeka to get noticed. Its not the best move in the world for him. He's beyond the HNL now. Hopefully it'll only take him till the end of season to transfer again.
I think this will turn Hajduk's season around pretty quickly as well as Vejic coming back. I don't think they need another striker. Let Rodic, Vukusic and Oremus make their impressions from the bench. I'm sure pressure is now lifted off those guys.
Thanks guys. At least i predicted the right score!
