Hajduk have already locked up 2nd place in the Prva Liga behind Dinamo Zagreb. A Croatian Cup title should earn Hajduk a B+ grade on the season with only a Prva Liga title missing from their trophy case the past two decades. The last time Hajduk won a domestic title is 2005. They are guaranteed a Conference League 3rd qualifying berth next season no matter the result of this match since Šibenik does not hold a UEFA license for 2023-2024.
