Rijeka and Hajduk both held serve this weekend with wins over Varaždin and Istra, respectively. Hajduk remain one point behind 1st place Rijeka after narrowly defeating Istra. However, Dinamo’s 1-1 draw in Osijek now puts them five points behind Rijeka with one game in hand. Rijeka host Osijek next week while Hajduk plays goes to Gorica.
