Luka Gavran has already scored one of the MLS’ Goals of the Season…and remember…he’s a goalie! The 25 year-old Hamilton, Ontario native left his goal in the 6th minute of injury time Wednesday night to force a 3-3 draw against Philadelphia. In classic Canadian fashion, Toronto pulled their goalie in the last minute of the game in desperation of an equalizing goal; and got it via last second cross and header.
Gavran is a product of the Hamilton Croatia SC and Dinamo Zagreb youth sides before going to St. John’s for college ball. After playing for the Toronto FC II side, he has now climbed the ladder to become Toronto’s #1 keeper in the MLS.

Well done Luka!
