I’m just going to leave this here for you guys as the official president of the Marco Pašalič 2026 fan club. Pašalić scored his 10th goal of the season Saturday night in a 2-2 draw vs. Charlotte. He now has:
-10 MLS goals in 21 matches
-4 goals since June 25th
-goals in 3 straight matches
For all those doubting Anonymous constant mocking that one of our keepers is playing in Cyprus.
He’s back in the HNL at Hajduk.
So he’s moving backwards.
He’s only good for HNL, nothing more.
Market is efficient / telling – nobody from a better league wanted to buy him – because nobody rates the Cyprus league and buys players from there.
Never doubt the Anonymous.
The great news is Dalic can stop calling him up as there is no justification in calling up HNL keepers when we have younger keepers playing in better leagues (eg Pandur at Hull)
Borna Sosa to Crystal Palace
Only 2m transfer fee.
But unbelievable.
He better pray they keep Guehi to play next/behind him as cover.
Thomas Frank first training session
Lots of nice clips of Luka
He looks all business
He’s so lucky he carries himself so well (confidently)

First friendly Tuesday 2:45pm EDT vs. League 2 Bromley
As a card carrying Marco Pasalic fan club founding member, I applaud this article.
Marco P has to be starting for us at RW.
Because is #1 in a talent pool of one !
I’d like to see him start for Croatia in September.
It’s not about how good Marco P is, it is about the dynamic attacking left foot he brings to us from the right flank.
Stanisic overlaps when he cuts inside and then we have an entire area of the pitch the defense has to think about.
Plus he will be wide open in single coverage on the right flank.
If you think trump is re aligning the world, you’re in for a rude awakening. His movement had its ten seconds in the spotlight and its been run so poorly that the backlash will be extreme bringing to power the polar opposite in an aoc or madmani as we see in nyc now.
Because this is not a political chat, I’ll bring it back to soccer. This shift back hard the other way will be extremely beneficial to Croatian soccer. Why should Northern European countries be able to get all the best talent from Africa and the Middle East when Croatia is closer. The future will finally be a much more open border and immigrant friendly environment in Croatia which is desperately needed. As we’ve integrated into the eu, those who can leave do, and not enough workers are left in Croatia killing growth and fueling inflation.
Greater migration will solve that and add great depth to the nt.
It is proven that croatias success is not based on croat genes as the fallacy would suggest but on the quality of the academy program established through investment in the yugoslav days. We bring in olmo and he becomes the best. We bring in eduardo and he wouldve become the best croat goal scorer in history. Belhino is currently our best prospect.
Think about how good we’ll be as we bring in more natural talent through immigration into our academy system.
Our best players were born and raised in Croatia. If you want an African team I suggest you go to Africa. Srmota
Regarding your long term Croatian continued solution soccer success by opening up borders to develop foreign talent, because Croatian genes are pebbles not stones, hmmm……, really not feeling the pride. I don’t mind the idea of a few foreign players every once in a Bura. For example, if we could have signed Benjamin Sesko, or Christian Pulisic (Olib) could you imagine. Even Belinovic, the Brazilian wonder would be great.
You bring up some very valid points regarding backlashed reactions, to unpopular policies. This is dysfunctional and wastefulness. Democracy seems to not work efficiently in a highly populated diversified multicultural society. Rather than a consensus, it is actually a majority, dragging a resentful minority reluctantly to the finish line.
I would suggest if 500,000 people attend a concert, in a town of 800,000, that is not a small pocket stain, but the actual fabric color of society. If it fits wear it, or else give it away for some else to wear.
The barbarians never take a city until someone holds the gates open to them and it’s your own multicultural authorities who will do it for you. Divide and conquer.
Think twice before you bite the apple.
Uruguay and Japan is my ideal model.
Keep the Croatian boarders secure. If someone wants to come to Croatia, go through the normal channels. America has been a mess with its lack of enforcing its immigration policies. I like the way Croatia has a special bond and unity among its players. Viva Zlatko!
Welcome to 2025

Marketing cost: pay a kid a few euros to stick it in Speed’s face and get him to drink it
Total views: 42m live streaming
Best marketing euro spent to market exposure, in the history of the world (and morons still spend $8m for 30 seconds at the Super Bowl, when everyone is at the bathroom or feeding their face)
Beautiful how Croatia is using him

Matanovic close to joining Freiburg, according to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg. Freiburg finished 5th in Bundesliga last season, qualifying them for the Europa League league phase.

Everyone see Dalic’s post on IG of himself at the concert ?
With the beautiful caption:
jedno srce, jedna duša, jedna Hrvatska
Moj dalice pobratime mio
You guys focus in on some winger banished to wasteland of global soccer and not on the true soul of Croatian football and the further stain the nation placed on itself with the Thompson concert the other night
I think hns should propose a litmus test for its players. Anyone caught listening to or posting on their ‘gram Thompson music or links to the concert should be barred from the team until they undergo sensitivity training and also publicly renounce on the ‘gram their previous actions.
You can’t have hate in your heart and be a good soccer player. It’s no coincidence as soon as josip bust-alo refused to wear the rainbow arm band, his soccer game collapsed. It’s in the best interest of the national team they move into the 21st century
Stfu. Thompson is a Croatian legend and patriot who is standing up for the country. They all proudly play Thompson as do many. Go cry
That is so early 21st Century. Times they are a Changing. Globalism is not without its problems as well. “Country, God, Family” is his main focus. Nationalism is having a re-birth in the USA as well. Spending $150 Billion on border invasion De-funding of universities is being based on alignment to post early 21st century DEI implemented policies. USA building a golden dome defense system. Very much a Marko Thompson era going on in USA. Provides cover for Poland, Ireland, and Croatia to maintain their sovereignty as well.
I am relocating back to the homeland next year 🇭🇷🇭🇷
ISpeed exploiting Croatia today

Rakitic farewell letter video is entirely in Spanish.
Not even one word spoken in Croatian (compare/contrast Modric Ballon D’or acceptance speech).
LMAO
What a sell-out / just pandering to the larger fan-base and his wife.
Sad way to end it. Suspect there will be a LOT of blow-back from Croatian fans.
stani. ljudi koji ne znaju govoriti niti pisati hrvatski žale se da mu video nije na hrvatskom. stvarno?
Do you think you’re the only one on here who knows how to write and read in Croatian? Get over yourself. I’m sure half this group grew up with Croatian as their first language
Bravo Majstore
I always thought he was special enough
He ain’t no punk like rebic
He’s taking maybe a sideways move and done well with it
Mls or not this kid has knack for finding the twine
Btw:
How the F did Marco not make the MLS All Star team ?
Understand maybe he doesn’t get voted in (12 players) but coach selects 12 and commissioner 2 players
Never heard of any of the other forwards save Messi – bunch of MLS riff raff ahead of Marco.
Joke of a league.
Seems like they just selected players to pander to the largest countries/tv markets/fan base beyond the USA (ie central and South America) as opposed to best players.
Sad.
Tidbit: Marco’s goal was scored on Charlotte goalie Kristijan Kahlina, a Croatian who was named MLS goaltender of the year for last season.
