In order to get in the team and become a mainstay he would have to perform. I would argue it’s hard to perform if you don’t feel pride for the shirt/flag. His mum is a Croat so that makes him as Croatian as I am genetically. So I say call him up and see what he does. If he doesn’t perform then you’ve lost nothing. If he does we come to love him.
