The Vatreni will face Brazil in Orlando March 31st in the second of their two March friendlies. The other is expected to be Colombia earlier in the week, which could also be played in Orlando at Camping World Stadium. However, that has yet to be confirmed.
There are a projected 200,000 Brazilians living in the state of Florida so expect a large yellow and green turnout at the 60,000 capacity stadium. You really can’t ask for a better friendly lineup in the March FIFA window ahead of Croatia’s June 17th World Cup opener versus England in Dallas.
Will you be there?

Zlatko Dalić has once again commented on the Luka Sučić incident:
“My definition of a family within the national team is: respect for order, respect for rules, you know when you arrive, you know when you leave, and you know who is the head of the household. Thanks to my definition of the national team, Croatia won silver and bronze medals.
And Luka Sučić is a competitive player, he is among the candidates for the national team. We spoke before that incident and after it. Around that incident, an unnecessary affair was created, where the target was not Luka Sučić, but me. It was an attack on me because of some of my statements during the summer. The goal was to create disorder, to undermine what we are doing. However, that only made me stronger and tougher. And it turned out that all the decisions I made were the right ones.” [Večernji List]
Hey anonymous. Keeps us updated on “Ghana watch” during the Afcon.

Semenyo also choosing between Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea as his next destination (Tttenham have no chance) – he’s the #1 attacking target for the top 4 teams in the Prem for the upcoming transfer window

Just like Nigeria was in 2018. Fast and has offence. We break them down with our defending like we had in Russia. Two solid players Ghana has upfront that are young and fresh. However, we have three young top defenders. Our record has been perfect against African teams at the World Cup. 3 wins and 1 draw. Let’s keep it that way.
England has top midfielders and that will be tricky for us. Bellingham, Foden and Rice are all solid. I don’t know how well Saka has done but not in the top 10 in the EPL. Kane is older too and doesn’t impress me. He is a rebounder and penalty guy and that’s it. The England midfield has to be contained. That’s their strong asset. Rashford as well.
As I’ve said. Our goalkeeping might be our demise. Upfront as well if we can’t find chemistry. No top players. Mandzukic was our main man in Russia. Perisic is still going but can’t do it all at 37. Our midfield need to contribute. Vlasic, Modric, Sucic can keep up with England’s midfield but it would be tough. Shutting down the offence.
P.S.
Of course Pero’s value keeps SKY ROCKETING he’s up to 30
He was undersold.
14M was too low. Dinamo could have squeezed another 5-6 million for him if they let other teams have a chance to bid.
Yes, but Dinamo has a 10% resale clause that will bring in future cash.
Bati and wedding boy TM values are CRASHING
Bati 18 and wedding boy 10

They are gushing about Vuskovic that he’s the best CB they’ve every seen and will be best in the world
Nah, he’s too tall. 😉
Frigan IG video showing him jumping around and doing testing
Looks fit and good and almost ready to go 💪
Modric 41, perisic 38, budimir 35, kramaric 35 as our attacking players at the wc is scary
I agree with the comment earlier that the defense has potential. Stanisic becoming legit has been an underrated part of the teams potential level. Although like gvardiol and l sucuc, he’s injury prone
But as I’ve said many times, crisis can’t try to go toe to toe with the but team’s with a geriatric offensive line. Rely on the defense and midfield possession to kill the game. Let the forwards track back to help
Also i hate the idea of playing Brazil in a friendly. It can be a confidence killer. But then again croatia will be on the backfoot in the opener against England so maybe its a chance to practice that
I am all for finding out what we have under the hood as soon as possible.
Let’s face it, the Šahovnica pattern is the perfect symbol for Croatian soccer. We somehow stitch a quilt of Ne’er-do-wells together, to make an astonishing competitive team, and surprise all the heavyweights.

I don’t think I’ve been so positive in our defence in awhile. It appears to be this could be better than the Russia run. Gvardiol and Stanisic are already superstars. Vuskovic is making a statement at 18. I’ve been following Como in Serie A. Fabregas has turned this team around completely and made them top of the league. Smolcic and Baturina are preforming well and getting minutes too. Caleta-Car is reliable too with his clearances and height.
I think there’s some defenders Dalic should exclude from this squad or not even bother starting..
Sosa: His performance has dropped a lot since leaving Stuggart. Now with barley starting on an average team in the premier league.
Pongracic: He is on the worst club in Serie A for a reason. Watch his highlights and read this article provided below on how out of place he is for lots of goals. He’s made too many errors despite being on a last p,ace team.
Sutalo and Erlic? I would take Sutalo over Erlic just with his champions league minutes too.
In terms of midfield there has to be changes. Players like Vlasic, Marco Pasalic, Sucic should absolutely start. Kramaric is going to be 35 when the tournament starts. He’s slow and can’t finish. He hasn’t started that many games either and his scoring has dropped significantly. Kovacic hasn’t played yet. I wouldn’t count him out. Let’s see how he performs if he gets many minutes on City. Does he have a spot to fulfill or take over? Mario Pasalic is another maybe. He’s inconsistent too. Not having Jakic is also huge. Definitely need a mixup with the midfield. Modric will obviously start but maybe if Kova is ready enough can sub him out.
Scoring is the biggest concern next to goalkeeping. Perisic will be 37 in June. Budimir will be approaching 35. We need to sub in or start younger players. Ivanovic and Matanovic aren’t that impressive. Neither of them are getting many starts. Musa has been great in MLS. Start him and doesn’t matter if his North American football. At least he’s getting minutes.
Add in Jurnaovic too. Never should start again.
Better than the Russia run, come on. That team had a suberb midfield in their prime and Manzudkic. This team has an older midfield and no proven forward. I just hope they make the round of 16. But this WC will be a joke with the expansion, the price gouging and with the majority of it in the US. Much more looking forward to Euro 2028.
