If true, definitely a move in the right direction from the biggest “red & white” checkers we’ve ever seen in 2024. It looked as if our guys were jockeys in the Kentucky Derby. The blue is nice and clean and will of course look better with player numbers, shorts, and socks depending on the color combination. There’s a rumor the HNS could be moving from Nike to Adidas sooner than later.
Your thoughts on these rumored 2026 kits?
The Dream
HNS LEGACY PROJECT:
HRVATSKI PLAN ZA NOGOMETNU DOMINACIJU 🇭🇷💪
Vatreni faithful, imagine a future where Croatia doesn’t just compete but dominates global football. The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) has a historic opportunity. They should acquire a controlling stake in a second-tier Bundesliga club like Wolfsburg or Werder Bremen (75 million Euros if the club is valued at 150 million Euros)
This isn’t just a bold investment—it’s a revolutionary blueprint to elevate our national team, secure a lasting legacy, and cement Croatia as a soccer superpower. The HNS Legacy Project is our chance to control our destiny, ensure our players thrive, and build a dynasty that echoes for generations.
Here’s why this strategic masterstroke is a must:
Unrivaled Talent Incubator: Croatia’s young stars—too talented for the HNL but not yet ready for Europe’s elite—need a proving ground. A Bundesliga club, renowned for its high-octane, technically rigorous style, is the perfect arena. By owning a club, HNS creates a tailored development hub where our prospects hone their skills against top-tier competition, preparing them for seamless transitions to clubs like Bayern, Real Madrid, or beyond. This is where the next Modrić or Gvardiol is forged.
Guaranteed Minutes, No More Bench Rot: Too many Croatian talents languish on loan or warm benches at foreign clubs, losing form and confidence. With a controlling stake, HNS controls the roster. If a player like Borna Sosa isn’t getting minutes at their current club Torino for instance, they transfer to our Bundesliga team, where they’re guaranteed meaningful game time. This ensures our Vatreni stay sharp, confident, and in peak condition for national team duties, giving us an edge in World Cups and Euros.
Family-Style Team Synergy: A Croatian-controlled club fosters a unique “family” environment where our players train, play, and bond together regularly. This cohesion translates directly to the national team, where familiarity breeds chemistry. Imagine our core players—already teammates at club level—executing seamless tactics for the Vatreni, outclassing opponents with telepathic understanding. This unity could be the difference between a semifinal exit and lifting that elusive trophy.
Cultural and Tactical Springboard: Moving abroad is daunting—new systems, languages, and expectations can stall even the brightest talents. Our Bundesliga club becomes a “home away from home,” blending Croatian coaching, culture, and passion with German discipline. Players adapt to elite-level demands in a supportive environment, accelerating their growth and ensuring they hit the ground running when scouted by top clubs.
Financially Astute Power Move: Acquiring a second-tier Bundesliga club is a realistic, high-return investment. These clubs are affordable compared to Premier League or top-tier German sides, yet their value skyrockets with our talent driving success. Revenue from player transfers, sponsorships, and global fan engagement could make this project self-sustaining, even profitable, while funding further HNS initiatives. It’s a win-win: a stronger team and a smarter balance sheet.
Global Brand Amplifier: A Croatian-controlled Bundesliga club becomes a beacon for our diaspora and fans worldwide. Picture stadiums packed with Croatian flags, chanting for our boys in Germany—a symbol of national pride. This global stage showcases our talent to scouts, boosts merchandise sales, and strengthens our footballing identity, making “Croatia” synonymous with excellence.
Sustained International Dominance: The HNS Legacy Project ensures a constant pipeline of battle-ready players, deepening our squad and eliminating reliance on a single golden generation. With players honed in the Bundesliga, Croatia can maintain its status as a World Cup contender for decades.
A Monumental Legacy: This project isn’t just about today—it’s about etching Croatia’s name in football history. By controlling a Bundesliga club, HNS secures a sustainable model for talent development, financial growth, and global influence.

At least Trump knows there’s only two genders, BRAVO.
Did the truth2 sex change operation get cancelled after the election?
Word to the wise, don’t bring politics into the football forum it’s tiresome and nauseating, moderator justice will be swift.
Didn’t Stanisic play CB in the last match?

Also, I know Anonymous is still celebrating Tottenham Europa league trophy but are you nervous the match against psg?
Thank you for checking in for a pulse-check
Betting odds to win: 87% PSG vs. 13%
No expectation to win = No pressure = No nerves
Only upside 😉
Petar Sucic 3pm EDT Saturday kick-off
Let’s do this Pero
What was Stanisic doing on this Boca goal ?
x.com/ManagerTactical/status/1936252146066067819
Terrible decision making.
Anonymous doesn’t even know where to start.
Sweeping the leg ? Stop watching Mr. Miyagi. He’s actually lucky he didn’t make contact as automatic red card (as the last man)
Why didn’t he go in for a tackle ? Does Stanisic tackle ? Can’t really remember actually seeing him ever go into a tackle (for the NT) – I’m sure he has, but doesn’t seem like he’s comfortable going to ground.
But doesn’t matter – decision was terrible for this play.
Did anyone actually watch the game – how was his overall game performance ?
@anonymous.
I only watched the highlights but obviously saw the goal you are talking about. You are quite right: Stanisic didn’t look good on it.
Having said that, I have followed him closely in the Bundesliga the last 2 seasons, and he is an elite and underrated defender. He can tackle and do it all. He was great for Leverkusen. He has back-to-back Bundesliga titles with Leverkusen and Bayern. If he stays healthy, we are solid at right back for the next 3 world cups.
If you look at FOTMOB and Sofascore, they rated him highly in the Boca game, despite how bad he looked on that goal.
Your man Pero was carved up in the Italian papers/news feeds after his first Inter game. They didn’t see his performance quite like you did, that is for sure.
I am high on him too, he is just 21 and breaking into a new team. I didn’t think he played that badly. A little patience is appropriate at this stage. I hope he starts and has a good game today. I think this club world cup is a good place for him to break into with his new team and adjust before the Serie A season kicks off in a few months. I am looking forward to Serie A this year, with Sucic and Baturina.
Sofifa may be listening to Anonymous on Baturina. Sofifa dropped Baturina’s potential substantially this year (down 3 points to 83, from 86). Let’s see if he can turn it around this season at Como….
Baturina is actually getting a lot of hype in the Italian media these past two weeks.
One Italian paper was highlighting that “key passes” statistic for all U23 players that he leads all leagues the World in.
…and there was some other talk from some pundits about how Como got a bargain for only paying 17+5 million for him.
So Bati’s agent (and Fabergas) is calling to Coma press to spread great things before he even sets foot on the pitch ? Got it 😉
Saw that stat/graph – kind of makes sense – Bati likes to stand around in the offensive end (typically just outside of the box) – wait for the perfect pass into his feet – and than finds a player in front of him to pass it along – I’m sure if we put you on the pitch and told you to focus on one offensive thing you’d also make top 10 😉
Thank you for the insight into Stanisic (Anonymous only sees him occasionally for club when in the mood to reminisce Harry)
What’s the press saying about Pero after the 2nd game ? 😉
Press is a funny thing – so emotional and they play at the extremes/absolutes – either a player is the best ever or the worst ever – rarely ever any middle ground
I mean he got a 22+’ in the first game (and 5+’ in the 2nd, setting up the winning goal)
Anonymous still has high expectations for Pero – and nothing at the Club World Cup is going to change Anonymous’ mind
Bale leading consortium to buy Cardiff FC (one hour away from Swansea)
Didn’t Modric pick this up in his due diligence ?
Looks like Marco Pasalic continues to be in good form… he assisted the gamewinner in Orlando’s 1-0 win at Colorado Rapids last weekend.
Tudor and juventus should’ve refused to meet with trump . Shame
Bring back Lotto brand 1998 jersey with the collar. Seeing Croatia on the big stage that year was such an amazing memory. We looked like rebels and played like every ball was life and death. It would be nice to remember that jersey almost 30 years later. I do remember my Italian buddies saying what the hell is Lotto, did you guys win those jerseys in a flea market? Typical Croatian style, cheap and cheerful and we made ourselves look beautiful. Here is to team 1998.
96 euro jersey was far by none the over all best second would be the all black checkered kits in 98 I believe
sorry I meant to say 2018 for all black
Yes
Igor Tudor and the Juventus team met Trump this week. He was recorded being behind the president while he was talking
Tudor should be Prime Minister of Croatia.
He’s meeting with Trump, while Plenkovic is sniveling to the Indian PM.
Livakovic May be going to Sevilla according to Jutarnji List. Not sure if this has been mentioned already.
Lots of Luka kits in the Miami crowd for the Real fixture … it lukas like.
He’ll get a big ovation if he comes on. Glad he didn’t start.
A 3 p.m. game in Miami … 33C good times.
Lots of love for Luka today! I was pleasantly surprised that his legendary status is truly international. They showed lots of Croatia flags, and Modric jerseys in the crowd. He took control of the game when he entered, but didn’t really have enough time to change the outcome.
FIFA really screwed up the scheduling and venues for this tourney. Most games should have been played in the evening, and many of them should have been in smaller venues, so that they didn’t look half empty.
Hopefully everyone has see
Thomas Frank first interview today
In particular what he has said re “young stars” and in particular Vuskovic 😊😊😊
I still love World Cup 2022…My favourite of all the checkered jerseys. But #1 will be 1998′ Blue Kits.
I think you mean 2018
39 y.o. Sergio Ramos MOTM
Did everyone catch Pero high IQ play at 2:36 of ET ?
He deliberately passed the ball back towards his defender but in actuality he wanted it is be hand-balled by Monterrey striker (which is was) – unfortunately, the ref doesn’t know the rules, that was a clear hand-ball, and thus free kick to the Inter, the other way
He also made a nice run in behind early on his cameo, and passed it perfectly into the box, unfortunately it was intercepted just before it hit his teammates foot for the perfect shot
Any updates on Bati’s water-polo endeavours ?
“I am very happy to be here in Como…in a beautiful city.” 🤦 🤦 🤦
btw: does Bati have any relation to the Baturina that met with B*den at Lake Como in 2014 – anybody know ?
WTF!!! Badosa is playing Navarro!?!

Dear Anonymous, it sounds like you spend your life on social media. I think you can do better than posting everything under the sun on a website dedicated to Croatian sports.
Find an outlet, brate. (And get out of mom’s basement.)
68′
Pero on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ha !
Sergio Ramos heard Anonymous posting about him
So sure enough he scores a goal
Thank you for delivering this non-breaking, non-Croatia-sports-related news to the website.
LOL seriously… anonymous, I actually don’t mind your analysis of the Vatreni but this non-Croatian and, frankly, non-important updates have to stop.
WTF
How the hell did a 39 y.o. Sergio Ramos end up in a mid-table team in Mexico
9pm EDT
Anonymous is disappointed Petar Sucic starting on the bench
But
Objectively, it is better he comes on as a sub later on (as Chivu said will happen) as he’ll be able to impose himself more easily against tired legs
Ide Pero ide !!!
Hopefully, we are not in deep denial mode thinkin’ these are so bad, they possibly can’t be the final version.
Never been a fan of the crest in the middle instead of the side. Change for change sake I imagine … sigh.
I think they need to have the checkers on the sleeve, and the cut is weird. I don’t mind the checkers being broken up a bit on the jersey as long as it’s done right. Like this it just looks bad.
Neither look good. Away one might be ok at TV angle but the home one looks like an even shittier version of the already shitty 2002 WC one.
Both of those kits look hideous. Hopefully it’s just fake news. We can’t have Modric going out wearing those. If it is true Nike is obviously doing it on purpose because of the switch to Adidas.
Well, Nike seems to be doing it on purpose the past two tournaments as well, since both the current Euro2024 ones and the previous WC2022 ones are bad too.
Bati only last 30 minutes
Como’s already punted him off to their water-polo team

Vuskovic first pre-season game vs. Bromley
Makes sense that he gets his minutes given Bromley is a League 2 side
***.bromleyfc.co.uk/news/first-team/bromley-to-host-uefa-europa-league-champions-in-pre-season/
The big checkers looked like jockey silks. These look like a partially completed table cloth made by a person that is blind drunk. Probably the worst jersey so far.
They look like those plaid shirts that Mexican LA gangbangers wear (that are buttoned only on the top button).
Must be why Ante MexiCali Kvartuč likes them so much.
You mean something a Cholo would wear ?
***.youtube.com/watch?v=7NzJ_aFG5pc
Probably the one who could move and it may be good is vuskovic
Not because it well necessarily be better for development but because dalic will never play him if he’s not starting in a big league
If he were to go to a lower team in a big league and start and play well that could be enough proof
That being said, I’m not sure if he’s ready. He looked petty scared on that first touch he got vs czech and that was with us up 5-1
Reports are suggesting that he is staying in Belgium but may go to a stronger club.
People need to realise that there is always a possibility that Luka Vuskovic may actually never get to play for Tottenham ? Yes, they paid big money for him but there is a new coach at Spurs and it will depend largely on how Vuskovic develops over the next 12 months or so.
I hope he makes it, but there have been many cases where big clubs pay big bucks for junior players and in the end, they never play for them, and end up being loaned out to smaller clubs.
Ha that’s funny. Never noticed that. If one of my analysts handed in something without proper punctuation, it could be grounds for dismissal. Can’t promise I’ll do better in the future.
Hopefully I’ll try harder though than baturina to run back on defense or wedding boy sucic to get hit sister to do her nuptials on Tuesday rather than Monday.
Still never heard of a Monday wedding. Come on wedding boy…share some of that transfer money and get a normal day for your sister
Have enjoyed the Away jerseys of late, with very Marko Thompson-ish colored black/ red/ gray/ jerseys: Strong, bold, and nationalist. If the shoe fits wear it. We needed those jerseys against Argentina.
Something like this would be better more appealing.
https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=croatian+jersey+2026+soccer&id=A11C533E854966E80AAD7CC20DB5AABC4E4BD0B0&form=IQFRBA&first=1&cw=1417&ch=834&disoverlay=1
We need as many of our players who are actually playing just staying put
Any move my budimir, perisic, kramaric, p sucic, l sucic, baturina to where they don’t play as much is just plain bad
I’d rather them get consistent minutes in the hnl that ride the bench in Italy or real
As already highlighted, luka leaving madrid is terrible for the nt as it’s a new stress on him
In terms of jerseys, how hard can this be. Just get some regular sized checkers and put them on a shirt in a normal pattern
I’m going to hold a meeting on Zoom for The truth2 and Anonymous to relay to them that putting a period at the end of a sentence is not difficult.
Maybe they’re the same person?
btw: we going to talk about rumours Perisic to Barca (behind Yamal and Nico Williams, lol) and Budimir to Real Madrid (Joselu-role) ?
Back-solving for WC – is this good/bad for the NT ? Are they assuming they are guaranteed to be called-up so trying to limit risk of injury ahead of time ? How will their sharpness be affected by significantly reduced game time ?
There are pros and cons

🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
The worst kits ever, I hope that it is rumors only?
Nike deliberately screwing us over because we went with Adidas after the World Cup
Why is it so damn long? Put your thumb over the bottom half and it looks more like a jersey.
Inconceivable!
where is international Cro jersey expert Ante to chime in on this?????
So we have to win the World Cup in these ? Sranje
But they will go down as legendary!
I have spent thousands of dollars over the years on Cro kits. These are among the hideous-est ever. I hope these are not accurate and will hold onto hope that they are not.
Why do they look like priest vestments? Could be a false leak, they look pretty bad. These are a downgrade from the current NIKE shirts.
They don’t speak to me. Seem incomplete. Not my favorite for sure.
I agree, I like the ones we currently have over these. I prefer the ones we had in Euro 2020, I thought they were nice. You don’t really have to do too much with the design to make them nice.
