While Bojan Bogdanović and the Croatian national team are messing around in Split – unable to beat Brazil in Olympic qualifying – Dario Šarić and the Phoenix Suns have punched their ticket to the NBA Finals. The Suns dismantled the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night 130-103 in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals.
Šarić came off the bench to score seven points from 2-2 shooting from downtown in eight minutes of play. The Suns will take on the winner of the Bucks/Hawks series in the Finals. A Croatian hasn’t won a NBA title since Kukoč completed the 3-peat with the Bulls in 1998. Yes, Andrew Bogut is the exception to that rule as he is a full-blooded Croatian. But he chose to play for Australia.
Hope Saric gets a ring just because. Hope he has a big game in the finals
Hope he reaches his potential.
Zubac had a good playoffs but the coach Lue exposed him by making him switch screens and defend point guards. That is on the coaches.
Eye out for Roko Prkacin. Good player. Has everything going. Will be a steal at the nba draft.
