It’s no secret that legendary rapper Snoop Dogg is a diehard Los Angeles Lakers fan. On Monday night during the Lakers’ Summer League Final against the Trail Blazers, which they won, Snoop took to Instagram to show his appreciation for the young Lakers.
Although his passion for the team is undeniable, Snoop hasn’t quite figured out who everyone is. 20 year-old Croatian Ivica Zubac is entering his second season with the club and Snoop & friends can’t get his name right. First they call him “Zurich” and then move to “Zumba.” Either way, Snoop likes the play of 7′ 1″ Zubac, calling him “cold.”

Why is Cacic stupid?
If anything, Jozo Simunovic is an opportunistic sellout who is willing to sell out his nationality for money.
Why does Simunovic think that he deserves a callup?
Is it simply because he’s young and plays on a somewhat known ‘foreign’ club?
Simunovic plays in the Scottish League, which is actually WORSE than the HNL. The quality of play (especially technical play) is horrid, and UEFA has correctly ranked the Scottish league 10 full places below the HNL in the coefficient ratings.
The only good team is Celtic, who at best are at the same level quality-wise as Rijeka or Dinamo…but every other team in that league is horribly bad. Aberdeen (their next best team) lost to Siroki Brijeg in Europa qualifications yesterday. Their third best team, Rangers, has Niko Kranjcar starting for them. Enough said right there.
Jozo Simunovic had a BAD season last year at Celtic too. It was so bad that one year after paying 8 million Euro to Dinamo for him, Celtic actually sold him for 6 million to Torino last August. They were willing to take a loss to get rid of him after only one year. The deal was done, but he ‘failed’ his physical at Torino (which essentially means Torino backed out at the last minute).
He had to go back to Celtic, but their new coach decided to start him and he’s had a good year (not great, but good year).
So, what makes Simunovic think that one year of ‘good’ football in a garbage Scottish league constitutes a callup? (especially after a really bad year)?
As a CB, he doesn’t deserve a callup over Corluka, Vida, Lovren, or even Mitrovic (who all play for better clubs in better leagues). Simunovic is a fringe player at best.
Simunovic is just taking advantage of all the anti-Cacic and HNS hate going on right now, to weasel his way to an undeserved callup, so he can raise his profile and get a nice transfer and contract to a bigger club. He probably knows that he sucks and is trying to ride this quick wave of playing ‘decent’ at Celtic to quickly get regular callups and his agent can work on transferring him to a big-money EPL contract (before it’s too late and he starts to suck again).
If he’s willing to change nationalities for this, then let him. It will eventually be funny when he loses his starting spot at BiH and has a fallout with them. Let him be their problem.
