Andrej Kramarić not only started Saturday in Hoffenheim’s 3-1 victory over Holstein Kiel, but he scored the game winner just before halftime to make it 2-0. Krama was outspoken earlier in the week regarding Hoffenheim management following their 5-0 loss to Bayern. He has received support from his manager, teammates and supporters following his comments. We still don’t know exactly what he was referring to in the interview, but the win now pulls Hoffenheim out of the relegation zone for the time being. (anyone have a link to the goal?)
Mateo Kovačić scored a blistering shot from just outside the box Sunday to give Manchester City a 2-0 lead over Ipswich Town. City would pile on the goals to win 6-0, which moves them back into the top-4 of the Premier League table. Kova took a pass from Phil Foden and rifled the shot low into the bottom-left corner of the net. Nothing the keeper could do. Goal.com gave Kova an impressive 9/10 match rating as he was “Given far too much room in midfield and dictated things with ease as a result. Should have had an early assist when Haaland was denied, but got a goal himself with a fine arrowed finish before delivering the dinked ball over the top for McAtee’s header.” Joško Gvardiol played the full 90 minutes in the clean sheet win. He was given a 7/10 match rating from Goal.com. “Doesn’t always convince defensively but more than makes up for it with what he offers in possession. Helped force the hosts back down City’s left his marauding runs.”
Josip Šutalo scored the opening goal in Ajax’s 2-0 win over Heerenveen Sunday, heading home a corner kick from a tight angle on the back post. The victory now puts Ajax only one point behind a slumping PSV Eindhoven for 1st place in the Dutch Eredivisie. Game on in the Netherlands! Šutalo earned a 8.4 match rating from FOTMOB for his efforts.
Ivan Perišić assisted and played the full 90 minutes in PSV Eindhoven’s disappointing 3-1 loss to PEC Zwolle Saturday. Perišić was Eindhoven’s highest rated player on FOTMOB at 8.1.
Josip Juranović played 61 minutes in Union Berlin’s 2-1 win over Mainz on Sunday.
Josip Stanišić returned (tore ACL) to the Bayern Munich bench Saturday in their 2-1 win over Wolfsburg. He didn’t see the pitch but good to see him back for 2025.
Luka Modrić was suspended for Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Las Palmas Sunday due to yellow card suspension.
@Crocan,
AC Milan is interested in Musa, yet he’s been blackballed from the National Team.
When he gets service like he did in Portugal and now FC Dallas, he’s shown he can finish.
On the National Team, he makes a run but no one gets him the ball. Dalić never figured it out.
Petar Sucic personal terms Inter agreed per Fabrizio
Anything less 30m and huge sell-on clause is giving him away
Rumour Marco Pasalic to MLS – hopefully not – but he’s probably p*ssed Dalic doesn’t play him so might as well cash in – sad
It’s not a rumor. Well respected MLS writer Tom Bogert just posted about it and I was about to post the same thing here. His NT career would come to an end in the US (ask Petar Musa).
I was hoping he can stay in Europe since he shows great potential with his dribbling and speed, something none of our midfielders have.
Even though MLS is better than the Croatian division, this would be a career killer.
Sutalo with a goal for Ajax, good to see him back playing again.
Great goal Kova!!
2-0 ManCity……but still a long way to go…

That’s a great strike for him. Check out the audacious assist he provides on the 6th goal. Man of the Match, 9.5 Sofascore rating.

Seems like Musa is getting interest from Europe. If he signs back for a top league he should be a must call up imo.
Ante –
Is it too early to start talking about Kramaric / Hoffeinheim’s next opponent in Europa this Thursday ? 😉
We need more Tottenham coverage.
Ante: Thought this clown was banned?
Not looking good for Donna Vekic after losing first set 7 – 6 after a tie break and looks like she has also sustained a knee injury. Might be wise to retire rather than risk further damage to the knee ?
Interesting to see Stipe Pletikosa and Petar Krpan sitting in her box, the guys must be in Australia for HNS held soccer coaching clinics. It has been a while since we had someone from Australia play for the Vatreni.
We have Australia born Noa Skoko playing for Hajduk and our U19 youth side and he has indicated that he is not sure if he will represent Croatia or Australia at the senior level if he ever gets a call up ?
Not to come off as sappy, but watching Vekic is a joy — seems like one of the most genuine/sincere/appreciative athletes out there.
Then you got Danielle Collins thanking ticket buyers for helping pay for her vacations, and Djokovic saying he loved her comments etc….
One thing Donna deserves a lot of credit for is she really is a fighter. I mean even in this match she clearly should’ve retired with that injury but stuck it out till the end, prolly against medical advice.
Kramaric scores right before halftime to make it 2-0. Lots of hugs from teammates and commentator talking about his outspoken leadership qualities.
I always remember krama saying something about how we weren’t a team like Argentina or someone and we didn’t have that quality
I forget when that was but it always bothered me
Like ya we all know that but we also know anytime we play magic can happen
Act like you belong there doesn’t mean you can’t respect other teams quality
I like the fire from krama
He’s been a much better performer for the repka last couple of years with less selfish play and consistently stronger work ethic
May he have a great end to his career helping to lead us to a deep World Cup run
Like you don’t see luka Saying that stuff
Follow our little but powerful leader
Wow also just saying does not look reassuring that Matanovic is not in the starting 11 today with Marmoush being rested ahead of his transfer to Man City, eh?
Situation will get even worse for Igor if Frankfurt brings in another striker this month.
A couple of thoughts… Igor did well at Karlsruher last season. This season, Karlsruher is involved in the fight for promotion to Bundesliga but earlier this month, they sold their topscorer (Budu Zivzivadze) to Heidenheim. Maybe Igor should move to Karlsruher on loan and help them in their promotion bid; I remember he had very good chemisty with Karlsruher playmaker and winger Marvin Wanitzek.
Also, I’ve been wondering… did Dinamo think about bringing Igor on loan? I’m dismayed that they are planning to sign and pay good money for a player like Wilfried Kanga who looks like a potential flop.
This frankfurt coach is out to destroy matanovic career. Saying he needs him and compare him to world class strikers when he does not play him and play him fewer and fewer minutes.

Sad that labrovic is dropped for last two matches.
Imagine dinamo signs labrovic (loan) orsic (free) matanovic (loan) ivanusec (loan)
