Ante Budimir became Osasuna’s all-time leading scorer Sunday when he converted a 1st half penalty vs. Valencia. Budimir would also be credited with an assist int he 3-3 draw. He has now scored 57 La Liga goals for Osasuna since coming over from Mallorca in 2020. This season, Budimir has bagged 14 goals and two assists in 26 matches. He currently sits behind only Lewandowski (21) and Mbappe (17) for the La Liga lead. Surely, he will be Dalić’s first choice #9 later this month versus France in the Nations League quarterfinals.
Luka Vušković has been cooking in Belgium this season. He received a 9.0 rating Sunday for his performance in a 0-0 Westerlo draw vs. Leuven. Vušković officially turned 18 last week so it will be interesting to see what Spurs do with their star teenage prospect in the summer. Will they loan him out to a bigger club or bring him to London?
Luka Modrić played the full 90 minutes in Real Madrid’s 2-1 loss to Betis on Saturday. He received a 6/10 grade from Goal.com as he was “Effective in an advanced midfield role in the first half. Less involved in the second, and rather outmuscled.” With he loss Real Madrid fall three points behind Barcelona for the La Liga lead. Real Madrid and Atletico kick off their Champions League Round of 16 clash this week.
Both Mateo Kovačić and Joško Gvardiol got the weekend off as Manchester City defeated Plymouth Argyle 3-1 in the FA Cup 5th Round Saturday. City will now face Bournemouth in the quarterfinals.
Dion Drena Beljo scored his 8th goal of the Austrian Bundesliga season Saturday in a 5-0 Rapid Wien win over Altach.

We need to inject blood quickly..baturina beljo musa sucic brothers quickly
We are still relying on perisic modric budimir and kramaric which are 34-39 years old this yr
4 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 weeks is a good haul for Baturina but you go ahead and keep hoping he’s a bust.
Also the Osijek loss was in the Cup not the League.
Don’t listen to Anonymous when it comes to Dinamo.
…or anything.
Smolcic starting
Delle Alli has been called up to the Como match-day squad for the first time since joining and for the first time in his career in 735 days
Got to give credit for Baturina for getting in the middle of Lucic and Misic at the end – pretty brave to do in middle of two hot heads – and guide Lucic out of trouble and away from Dinamo players
Well done Baturina on that
Music should get a few games for that to (Lucic running on adrenaline after almost having his career ended / loosing an eye)
Nice to see HNL has finally cleaned up the referring
All due to Anonymous’ immense pressure of course
Since Dinamo have stopped receiving favourable treatment
0-4 Rijeka [red card Kanga]
0-1 Osijek
2-2 Hajduk [2 red cards received]
So that’s 1 point out of possible 9
And that’s with Petar Sucic back !
Without Petar it would be 0 points – and over a regular season Dinamo would be relegated to the 2nd division
Baturina with a typical lazy Baturina goal – strolling around the field walking his dog for pee at top of the box just waiting not doing anything – and for some strange reason Hajduk players letting him be all alone at top of the box (a couple of players looked over their shoulder and saw him all alone and didn’t do anything) – and cross/ball goes threw EIGHT players until it finds its way to him (he’s of course just standing there waiting not doing anything per usual) – sad
Petar Sucic is getting killed for his performance today by Dinamo fans on their forum and on Twitter. On the Baturina goal Hoxha let the ball go through his legs on purpose as Baturina yelled Pusti. It was a great finish by Baturina for the goal.
How are Hajduk fans feeling about Rakitic saying he’s been in contact with Basel owner all season and sounds like he’s planning on moving there for next season ?
First Perisic used you – now Rakitic using you
Geriatric Rakitic knows exactly what he’s doing making that comment to the press – and right before the Dinamo match – basically spitting in the face of all Hajduk fans – not a good look
Grow up Seljak, Raketic is here for the Season and at his age its year by year. He is has been good for us. As for Perisic he had a fall out with Gatuso, it happens.
Hajduk fans think he is with the club for one year. Won’t disturb them if he leaves. He is old.
Wouldn’t it be about time to see the list of players Dalic is calling up for France??
Brekalo nice goal from off the LW against 1st place Galatasaray
x.com/GoalsXtra/status/1896204948431577118
2-2 currently
It’s a shame he didn’t take his chance vs. Turkey and Wales back in October – but maybe nerves got to him as there was a lot of pressure on him (and it’s not like the rest of the team created anything vs. Turkey)
But he’s a DECADE younger than Perisic – so I mean b/w the two – it’s make more sense to call Brekalo and hope for he best – crazy he’s still only 26 y.o.
I almost forgot about Brekalo. I’m disappointed that he didn’t do better in his career, and for the repka.
MLS watch: Musa with back to back goals to start the season. Pašalić with a quiet game against my town’s TFC.

So struggling a bit overall but probably compared to his cost
Let’s see how he finishes the season and next year before we call him luka bust Modrić
I had no idea they paid that much for him.
Definitely an overpay, considering they’re banking on potential only.
But he’s definitely talented, and the good news is they’ll give him as many minutes as possible to develop and justify that price tag.
Realistically where is crnac on the pecking order
That’s a quality finish in a tight space no doubt
I don’t see how livaja can be higher especially after leaving and all that other jazz
Reverse angle of Crnac goal (looks even better)

Crnac w/ 90′ min goal to put Norwich up 1-0
x.com/GoalsXtra/status/1895841358688264555
Excellent run into the box / change of pace / acceleration to lose his defender and into open space with elite finish (unstoppable)
Unfortunately Blackburn tied it up in the 96′
Would have been a massive 3 big points (and 1 less for Blackburn)
Also, Dinamo-Hajduk on Sunday at 9 a.m. eastern.
