Ante Rebić began his incredible scoring streak with AC Milan this time last year. With his game winner Sunday night in Rome, he’s off to the right start again in 2021. Rebić got the start for AC Milan and scored the game winner in the 58′ as he turned on his defender as he entered the box and sent a wonderful low, left-footed shot just inside the far post to score. The goal would earn AC Milan a 2-1 victory over Roma to keep them in the Serie A title race; only four back of city rivals Inter.
Mario Mandžukić did not dress for this match but Zlatan was subbed out with an apparent groin injury. If the injury is serious, this could only mean serious playing time for Mandzo moving forward in the season.
Rebić Game Winner
Alen Halilović has finally done something! The 24 year-old Halilović came off the bench for Birmingham in the 63rd minute Saturday and scored the game winner five minutes from the final whistle with a slow-motion curler from outside the box to beat QPR 2-1. It was Halilović’s first goal for Birmingham which earned them a huge three points to fight the Championship relegation battle. Birmingham now sit five points above the relegation zone with the win.
Halilović Game Winner
The Croatian left-back race is heating up as Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa remains on fire! Sosa assisted twice Saturday in Stuttgart’s 5-1 victory of Schalke. The first assist came off a corner and the second from a cross into the box for a header. The 23 year-old Sosa has been an absolute crossing machine with five assists in the last five matches he has played for Stuttgart. With Domagoj Bradarić coming up at Lille, Borna Barišić having an incredible season at Rangers, and Šime Vrsaljko back at full health, the Croatian defense may be headed in the right direction with depth for the first time since the 90s.
Sosa With 2 Assists For Stuttgart
Šime Vrsaljko played the full 90 minutes for Atletico Sunday in a 2-0 win over Villareal. The victory gives Atletico a 5-point lead atop the La Liga table. Vrsaljko was given a 7/10 as he “Looked to get involved early with crosses and straight passes down the line into space for Llorente. Vrsaljko was patient defensively and tackled judiciously and intelligently. A good performance from the right back, who is expected to cede his spot to the returning Kieran Trippier.” We will see how much Simeone uses Vrsaljko when Trippier returns from suspension in March.
Both Ivan Perišić and Marcelo Brozović played 76+ minutes in Inter’s 3-0 win over Genoa Sunday. The win keeps Inter four points clear of AC Milan for top spot in Serie A. Nikola Vlašić missed a penalty in a 2-0 defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow. CSKA now sit five points behind Zenit with the loss.
he might of had tata issues
Didn’t it come down to fitness with him? I mean, technically, he never had an issue. Probably one of the best we ever produced, but in terms of agility, endurance, speed, etc. he wasn’t built like your modern day midfielder. As someone else put it, take Niko for the late 2000’s, stick him in the 80’s or 90’s and he’s a world class player. But modern day, he wasn’t built or perhaps never trained to get to the place where he could become a star in today’s game.
.
I’m sure someone like a Brozovic runs more in 1 game than Niko would run in 3 games… lol
.
Niko’s career was pretty short-lived, and it went to absolute shite in his mid-20s though.
I think he just stopped caring.
.
We’re lucky we had Modric and a stacked midfield of younger players, otherwise Niko would have really let us down (as he was considered to be our future best player). I think he would have received a lot more ‘bust’ labels had we been more reliant on his development. But thanks to guys like Modric and Rakitic, Niko was no longer the future, so nobody cared as much. Most of us probably don’t even recall when his last game was for Croatia (as he became so unimportant for us).
.
Remember, his career start to go downward at age 26, and by age 28 he couldn’t even get regular time at Dynamo Kiev.
By that time, he was unplayable for our NT and no longer got callups (and eventually went on loan spells to QPR then signed for the Cosmos). Way too young for a dropoff like that.
.
One year, he’s one of the top players at Spurs (and their third leading scorer)…then three years later, he’s on the bench at Kiev (being loaned out to QPR).
It’s the strangest dropoff, considering nothing was injury-related.
He likely never really cared about football.
Labeling Kovacic or Kranjcar a ‘bust’ is a reach. It’s one thing to call Alen Halilovic, Ante Coric or Andrija Balic a bust… but Niko had a very solid club career and performed well for the NT (81 caps, 16 goals as a MF is above average).
.
I think with both Niko and Mateo, they were both labeled as the next great Croatian player and while Niko never approached the heights of say Suker, Modric, Boban, etc. he did carve out a nice career for himself. I bet Mateo will have a similar path; he’s had quite an impressive club career so far and while he’ll always be part of the NT fold, I don’t see him being some game changer that steps on the pitch and ‘wills us’ to a big win. That’s just not him, but he can be a definite part of what we do as a team…
Yeah RIP Cico.
This age nobody fights over a player…the player chooses lol, based on National Team attraction…the Vatreni is simply attractive than the KANGAROOS ! Oh sorry SOCCEROOS.
@ Nikola
Russia is tough too…no losing heads this time.
Let’s just leave the talented Mladi alone…this must be their time…calling up their best players for qualifiers could weaken their team.
I liked Niko Kranjčar when he was in his best physical shape.
He had game.
But Kovačić is a different level of player, with different level of clubs.
The book is still in progress with Mateo.
He has stabilized his career.
Let’s see how the next 4 months unfold.
He is a quality #8.
I am not sure why he does not shoot with venom?
@Maminjo
I wouldn’t call Kovacic a bust. Sure, he’s been underwhelming for the NT but that’s not all that defines a player. He’s been excellent for Chelsea and is a top midfielder. Maybe he didn’t reach his Modric-level potential but he has definitely done very well for himself. I’d consider Halilovic and Coric to be busts, but Mateo is at most just a player who underachieved a bit.
Good comparison
Niko Kranjcar kinda reminds me of Mateo Kovacic.
.
Both spent their childhood in Austria, were both relatively well off, both were considered prodigies at too young of an age, and it did no good for either of them.
.
The motivation to be great for both of them doesn’t seem to be there. Maybe I’m wrong about Kovacic, but I don’t see that hunger there. It definitely wasn’t there with Kranjcar. I don’t think he cared that much for football.
.
Both were equally talented though. Either one had Modric potential.
Hopefully Luka Sucic doesn’t complete the Austrian bust trifecta.
One thing i never understood was his transfer to Hajduk. What were his reasons? Money, sticking it to Dinamo, both? I dont remember, just remember it being a big deal and all the hate he (rightfully) got.
Ok he gets the benefit of the doubt
Just my observations that’s all
Soceidad 1 nil up against real
I guess Luka and Kroos are going to get the blame if they lose
He was a classy fellow. Well liked, good teammate. If it were the 70’s or 80’s he wouldve been a superstar. I love a player like that. A footballer more than an athletic freak.
as far as I know, Niko Kranjcar didn’t have an attitude. He was often ridiculed because of his heavy set physique but overall he was a really good player…better than many we’ve seen over the years and he had some incredibly nice skills!
Not questioning his skills pog
But let’s be fair he didn’t have the best attitude did he
His son was dope!
Last big bodied smooth midfielder with a cracker of a shot. This Luka Sucic might end up resembling him.
Did anyone just see Modrics nut meg and shot on goal against sociedad
All class that man
I suppose and rakija would do it too
Only the good die young hey
Although I have very fond memories of Cicos antics during the wc
He was more animated than trappatoni and the only one with passion in that 06 squad
Too bad his son didn’t bottle some of that
A buddy of mine likes to smoke alot and has been for almost 30 years.
He’s also paranoid about dying a slower and more sickly death when he’s older.
So, I told him that he’s fine since smoking is good for you.
@Suba
Well, when you drink and the doctor tells you that you have liver damage, and then you keep drinking….well, then that’s all she wrote.
RIP Cico
Everyone is right in saying he was a good man
He was a good hrvat too
What’s the go with hrvati dying too young in their mid sixties
Well said.
He was a classy guy.
Yea Cico was a very good and very underappreciated MT coach for us (and was let go too soon).
.
Cico brought Croatia football back to life after the Jozic/Baric defensive years, and the ‘Brazilians of Europe’ moniker starting to gain steam again.
We took out an elite Swedish team, and strong Bulgarian side in qualifying.
.
The World Cup was a disappointment that had little to do with Cico.
That missed penalty by Srna against Japan cost us that win, and the circus match against Australia did us no justice, with all the missed calls by Graham Poll and Stjepan Tomas playing handball all game long lol.
.
I feel sorry that Cico was let go after that tournament. We probably would’ve taken out Italy and Ukraine in the next two rounds too (who we always beat).
.
He’s also a legend in Crna Gora for almost getting them into Euro 2012. They were in a tough group and it was an 8-game qualifying group and he went unbeaten in the first five games (with wins against Bulgaria, Switzerland and Wales) and a draw against England in England lol.
.
They were tied with England for first place with only three games to go (and they clinched a playoff berth already), and then they lost a close match in Wales and he was let go.
One close road match lost against Wales (with both Bale & Ramsey playing), and they let him go lol.
.
The next coach ended up losing ALL their remaining games (including both games in the playoff against mediocre Czech Republic) and that was the end of Crna Gora’s dream run to an actual tournament.
.
But apparently, Cico was let go for being drunk on the job.
That’s how good he was. A drunk Cico almost took a minnow to the Euros in a strong group.
Rip Cico Kranjcar
Dinamo legend Croatia’s first Captain after independence
National team coach died from liver failure at 64.
How much Croatia meant too him can be seen when watching
The singing of the national anthem Brazil v Croatia World Cup 2006 tears in his eyes. He lead a fairly modest team between generations too the World Cup and made the most out of the talent he had at his disposal. His smile and his cheerful spirt will be missed by Croatia’s soccer family world wide.
Nikola Vukmanić
.
Oh I know.
.
I know that our Savez wants to do well in the U21 tournaments. They’ve been showing that in recent years, and I don’t like it (as it affects our Senior NT).
.
I don’t doubt for a second that most of Bradaric, Sosa, Gvardiol, Majer, Moro, etc will get no Euro 2021 senior callup to favor our U21s.
.
Realistically, I only think that one of Bradaric or Sosa will make the Senior Euro team, plus Brekalo.
I would be completely (yet very pleasantly) surprised if anyone else made it.
.
Personally, I think Bradaric, Sosa are better than Melnjak and Barisic. Gvardiol and a (healthy) Pongracic is better than Vida or Lovren. I even think any one of Toma Basic, Nikola Moro and Lovro Majer are better than Mario Pasalic.
I know that transfer value doesn’t mean everything, but the transfer value of these younger players above are multiple times higher than these veteran players.
For example, Bradaric was a 6 million Euro player a couple of years ago. That number is probably much higher now. Melnjak could probably be had for free lol. This should be a no-brainer lol.
Not calling up a 16M euro Gvardiol and 10-15M euro players like Majer and Toma Basic is a mistake. There’s a reason these guys cost this much to buy, and it’s not just potential.
@Dannyj
.
Yea, Cico was a drinker. He probably had some liver issues. Likely cirrhosis.
.
If this was the UK, Canada, or Australia, he’d already have been written off as a COVID death.
.
Not sure if Croatian hospitals receive COVID funding that is directly tied to cases.
If so, then yes, it’s COVID lol.
Kessie played very well but nobody on either team did more to create and impose himself than Rebic did…he was very sharp and making some fantastic runs, he took on several defenders and won almost every dribble attempt and his setup passes were very very good!
They gave Kessie MOTM which is a joke.I watched the same game and rebi cop was far more influential and dynamic.
I watched Rebic play yesterday and he had a very good game. I thought he was by far the best Milan player on the field. On another note, Ibra looked very slow, stiff and his play was very poor overall! He was served the ball on the dinner plate quite a few times and he made a mess of every opportunity.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/sempremilan.com/watch-the-best-bits-from-ante-rebics-electric-performance-against-roma-including-goal/amp
There is a video here on rebic highlights
Very nice
Sorry it said hospitalized last month for liver problems
They will probably chalk it up to corona
I read liver problems
Seems about right… didn’t people say he drank a lot?
RIP
Thank you to your service
Soul Champ he was pretty sick this past year, from what I don’t know. I’ll watch the news but they keep talking about Bandic’s death on Sunday.
Slavonac yeah people are pretty bummed out here in Croatia. Very sad day.
🙁
RIP Cico Kranjcar.
64 is too young.
I wonder what he died of?
Cico Kranjcar has passed away! Sad day for Croatia…he was a very good man!
I hope that I’m wrong, but I think you guys are setting yourself up for disappointment based on who will be called up in March and likely for the Euros. Like I’ve said a bunch of times. The U21 Euros group stage is in March and the final is in early June. It’s going to depend if they want to try to do well in that tournament and call up the best available players instead of using them in the March qualifiers against teams that we should beat even with our B squad. The only challenge should be Slovenia and we are still hands down better than them.
.
Maminjo I know you’ve said things like “who cares about youth tournaments?” but I think that the HNS actually does care and maybe too much. This is why I just don’t see at least one of Sosa or Bradaric getting called up until AT LEAST the Euros preliminary squad and that will be if the U21s get knocked out in the group stage as they do have a tough group (Portugal, Switzerland, and England). That means the likes of Gvardiol likely won’t be called up in March either and neither will someone like Lovro Majer who could arguably take Pasalic’s spot based on form and fitness. There’s even the chance that they take Brekalo to the U21 Euros as well as he is still eligible for the tournament. That one is more unlikely, but it’s possible given we could simply use Perisic, Rebic, Orsic, Kramaric, and even Pjaca on the wings if we really have to.
.
I love CiganJeCigan’s 23 man squad as well. The only change I think I’d make is to try to get Basic or maybe even Badelj in there just so we have a true back up CDM who can solidify our defense in games that we are winning, but still facing some pressure from the opposition. I don’t think Pongracic makes the cut this year because of his ongoing fitness issues. Otherwise I’d make a case for him over Lovren or Vida. Vida has picked his club form up a bit since the rough performances of the Nations League and I haven’t even heard anything about Lovren, but I guess Zenit is in first so maybe he’s doing ok. I don’t think Dalic will start them both, but I think he will start one of them next to Caleta.
.
Again, I really hope I’m wrong as I think our U21s will do similarly with our without Sosa, Bradaric, and Gvardiol as there are direct replacements who are decent enough. Stefulj, Colina, and Sverko are all decent enough at LB and Vuskovic is a good young CB and likely going to be a future national team player. There’s also Erlic who has done decently on Spezia in Serie A. As well as Bosko Sutalo, Branimir Kalaica, and some other lesser known players who will do fine. Let’s see what Dalic thinks. The squads for both the U21 Euros and March qualifiers should be announced in the next week or so.
This Juric kid will in most probability not play for us.
1 his brothers influence who plays for the Aussies
2 he was born in Australia and grew up their most of his life.
3 At this point he’s not good enough.
4 He needs to improve dramatically over the next few years and stay injury free
5The chance of him committing to Cro and barely playing are rather high compared to Australia.
6Iggy would agree with me!
Well put, Maminjo.
.
I think Barisic’s place is as a backup LB, if that. Sosa has had a fantastic year and going into the summer, starting NT LB is his to lose. Then I’d bring either Barisic or Bradaric, but I’d lean more towards Bradaric at this point, given he’s going to have more of an upside long term with the repka and we can also use him as a backup LW as well. Can’t recall Barisic ever seeing time on the wing, whether in the SPL or HNL. At this point, Melnjak should only be looked at in emergency oppurtunities where we have a few injuries on the squad.
@ Maminjo,
.
I can see him waiting for one World Cup cycle, and seeing what develops for the next European Championship qualifying round for 2024. If there is no action toward a Croatia call up, and he is scoring goals, I can see him jumping into the arms of Australia. I don’t see that being a hindrance to his career, and if he is good enough, he would be playing in the World Cup with Australia every four years. They will qualify for every tournament out of Asia, especially with the expanded format. For the 2022 World Cup, 4.5 teams from Asia( with the back door qualifiers) will play. For 2026, this will increase to 8 teams. Great for diversity, crap for overall quality.
@Suba
.
Interesting.
.
I’m always down for capping a 6’3″ striker. He seems to have been very successful scoring for Hajduk’s second team and for Rudes (in the 2.HNL).
Now he’s starting to score regularly for Sibenik (and more recently too).
But he hasn’t done enough to warrant a callup. Maybe if he can keep this up next season.
.
He’s a Hercegovac from Australia, so I would be surprised if he accepted any callup from Aus over Cro (Especially since Aus didn’t cap him earlier).
He should just wait for a Croatia callup.
.
He’s already been living in Croatia since he was a teenager, and playing for Australia gives him zero benefit to his career (other than inconvenient travel to Oceania for any qualifiers).
Plus, I highly doubt he feels more Australian than Croatian.
.
Dude should just wait and take his chances with Croatia. But I’m sure his agent is playing up the whole pressure of Aus calling him up.
Yea, it’s just a mental thing related to age. It’s essentially ageism.
.
People assume that players like Gvardiol, Bradaric, Sosa, etc are too young (meaning that they’re not experienced enough)…
.
But players like Melnjak, Skoric, and even Barisic have almost no real experience at all against quality competition. Like nothing almost (maybe Barisic a bit in Europa, and a couple games a year against Celtic).
.
Luka Sucic is already surpassing a lot of our A reprezentacija players in terms of tournament experience and quality opponents…but the mindset will always be “oh, he’s still too young”.
If both Gvardiol and Sosa are cut from the final roster, that’s a problem. I really don’t care to see Tin Jedvaj, Melnjak or a Skoric come in as a sub in a major tournament. Both Gvardiol and Sosa are more talented then a lot of these ‘established’ defenders we typically keep on the bench. Time to start cutting dead weight and giving these kids a shot.
decision
News down under
There is a battle between Croatia and Australia for the future services of Deni Juric who has been on fire for Sibenik
Not sure if he would be Vatreni quality one day but a big excision to be made by young Deni
I know who I would choose
@CiganJeCigan
.
Yea, I could live with that 23-man roster…
but my worry is that guys like Sosa or Gvardiol are not even given a chance or callup.
.
Under your scenario, the “big” cuts would be regular callups like Melnjak and Badelj…and the more recent callups like Škorić, Toma Bašić, Uremović, and Pongračić.
.
I can see Dalić not calling up Bašić because he’s new, and Pongračić because he’s been injured this year.
He could just claim that they’ll get their chance in the future.
However, I think these two provide more than guys like Pašalić or some of our CBs.
.
Melnjak will probably be called up if Sosa is assumed to just be an U21 player (until the World Cup). Same goes for one of Uremović/Škorić in place of Gvardiol.
.
It’s ludicrous to replace talents like Gvardiol, Bašić, Pongračić, and Sosa with low-level players (simply based on age and nothing else)…but I can see it happening very easily.
.
Again, the March qualifiers should tell us everything.
.
I’m hoping to see Gvardiol and Sosa’s name on that callup list.
23 man squad for euros:
.
.
.
striker: petkovic, budimir
.
CAM: kramaric, vlasic, pasalic
.
winger: rebic, perisic, orsic, brekalo
.
CM: Modric, brozo, kovacic
.
LB: Barisic, sosa, bradaric
.
RB: Vrsaljko
.
CB: caleta, lovren, vida, gvardiol
.
GK: livakovic, sluga, third keeper
.
.
.
Dalic gotta experiment with sosa, bradaric, or gvardiol at RB incase vrsaljko gets injured.
A part of me feels like Vrsaljko doesn’t care for Madrid and is just dogging it a bit until his next move.
.
He seemed very content to go out on loan to Inter a couple of years ago, and probably would’ve stayed had he not gotten badly injured.
.
His contract expires in a year, and if he plays as well as he did at the World Cup, he’ll easily get a transfer to any team that he wants.
.
My guess is that he liked Serie A and will go back there. He probably won’t sign any extension, putting himself in a good negotiating position for his next transfer.
Modric needs to play at the wc
It’s only 1 year after the euros
It would be silly to retire
Although not his biggest fan it was silly that raketa retired when you are going to have 2 big tournaments in 2 years
It seems vrsaljko with all the time off still is solid and stays in game shape well enough
We know he will leave it out there for euros
My question is him and lovren have their bromance
I’m sure there will be a lot of crap with the defender choices
Let’s just hope we don’t have to blow Lukas perhaps last go
Yea, Imoćani are okay. Not like those smelly Hercegovci.
😉
That’s ok
Most of my kumovi are from imotski
@Suba
Most people from Imotski are born in Split.
Rebić is an Imoćanin.
Is it just me or sime should get out of Madrid
Maybe his pay packet is too good
Wait up it says he was born in split
Can someone please clear up something
Is Sosa out for under 21 euros for 3 games
If that’s true then call him up for the senior squad for the euros
That’s the silver lining here
Makes it easy for Dalic
Apologies to my imotski friends out there hahaha
I’m sure Rebic would not have been offended
Imotski
Wonderful turn and finish by Ante
Top notch goal
Unleash the beast from split
Mandzukic better get into game shape soon. Milan ran out of options to replace Zlatan, then Rebic, both had to come off early. He will get plenty of game time once he is fit.
Ante Rebic (LW) – 8/10 – Forced Lopez into a decent save with a long range drive. Was sharp throughout and netted the winner when he turned away from Roma’s defenders and fired into the bottom corner.
Robo Rebić beast mode!!
@Anonymous of 2/27/21 at 8:22pm, now replace ‘Jewish’ with antiWhite and realize we are in a world much different from then, whites were not backed into a corner back then. Ya think White spokesmen might not forget all the things the lying rat antiWhite media has said? Or are truth tellers required to “take the high road”? Oh man, you lying rats will be threatened, and there won’t be a damn thing you’ll be able to do about it.
Great game for Rebić !
Too bad he had to come off with a muscle injury at about 60 minutes. Im sure he would have scored again…threatening all game.
And what a goal at that!
Rebic goallll
@Bećar
The tournament is three months away. All that matters to me is that they’re on form. I don’t want any of our players to be overworked and possibly get injured.
Perišić and Brozović are gonna bring it this summer. So will Vrsaljko. I’m fully confident in those guys.
.
Only drawback is for the younger guys (like Bradarić) who are still trying to establish themselves into our starting eleven.
.
Hopefully Dalić can see through this and put guys like Bradarić and Gvardiol above Barišić and Lovren. Unlikely, but the March qualifiers will give us some insight into this.
^that was me
Vrsaljko starting today, knew the muscle soreness was a mere precaution.
Perišic put in a great cross to setup the 3rd goal.
Game was won within 30 seconds. Cruise control after that
@bećar
Perišić and Brozović both played well. They were subbed off to get a rest…the game was won at 3 – 0.
@Anonymous roger that…KOVAC is on fire with Monaco and i hope he won’t disapoint…impressive so far, beating PSG too.
I don’t watch the Ligue 1 but i think i wil ignore Monaco and surely support BREAST ( BREST )…nice name for a club and nobody should ask whether big or small BREAST ( BREST ).
@ Maminjo you are the first suspect here lol.
Hope Halilovic finally proves something with Birmingham and re-ignite his career.
So far today:
.
Brozovic – subbed out
Perisic – subbed out
Bistrovic – subbed out
Moro – subbed out (injury)
Bradaric – not starting
Badelj – didn’t even play after winning Genoa their last game
Pjaca – played whole game but had worst rating
Kramaric – subbed out (albeit late)
Musa – came off the bench
Pasalic – subbed out
Sutalo – not even dressed
Vizinger – subbed out
Sucic – started
.
Hopefully Kovacic can salvage the day
Another win for Kovac and Monaco. Unbeaten in 12 games and fighting for the title. Mid table side last season. Love the Kovac bros & wish them continued success moving forward.
Bradarić or Sosa for me.
.
I’ve seen enough of Barišić to know what he can do. He’s a steady backup, but not a starter for us. I think we can do better.
.
We need to play Bradarić or Sosa in these next qualifiers, and Gvardiol (at least off the bench) to show us what our team is truly capable of when our back four can link up with our elite central midfield.
Both Barišić and Sosa making meaningful crosses for their clubs.
No one can run like Jarni but at least they can deliver a decent cross.
Halilovic left foot alive as well!
Kovačić with yet another opportunity to step up and shine today against Man U.
Rebić is due as well today.
Of course a bunch of cuck faggots wont depose anybody.
I was watching a Nazi documentary whereby Goebbels was to give a speech. Hitler was in the audience. Goebbels threatened the Jewish press. Ya think it possible a white man in some white country might gain the freedom to speak for the white race?
Bećar, I get what you are saying. But his set piece delivery is creative in the sense it creates goals. I’m using creativity in this case to describe someone who can create scoring opportunities.
GOD of HALILOVIC is back, put him right into the starting lineup for Vatreni ASAP !
LOL
@Razbijač
.
I think we’re splitting hairs here, but set piece delivery takes little creativity. What is required is skill.
.
Vlašić missed a penalty today.
Pongračić had a good game. Too bad about the late 2nd yellow.
Watching that halilovic goal it just looks so slow…the opposition…his shot…everything about it looks methodical.
Except for the part where he takes his jersey off lightning quick!
He’s a peaky blinders now.
Good show btw.
Who’s Alan Halalovic hahaha
Bloody poms
BeĆar, fine set piece delivery is an art in itself–and definitely creative. He can take the set pieces where a left footed delivery is favored.
Maminjo, you know sometin’ I like where you’re goin’ with this! Here’s an interesting set up (3-4-3). Livakovic—Lovren, Caleta-Car, Gvardiol—Vrsaljko, Brozovic, Modric, Sosa—Rebic, Kramaric, Perisic
@Razbijač
.
Not to take anything away from Sosa’s creativity, but most of his assists have come from set piece delivery.
Add in a splash of Vrsaljko on the right side,
a dash of Gvardiol and Caleta-Car behind them…
.
and you finally have a team where every player on the field has the ability to create.
.
But no, let’s give Vida and Lovren a proper sendoff. They deserve it…despite not ever being top-8 players on our squad at any point in their careers.
Halilovic goal
https://streamable.com/lkzdxx
He hardly ever gets any play time.
Sosa 8 assists in 18 games this season. Right now, in the form of his career! And one of our finest Playmakers, along with Brozovic and Modric.
Heck! You put Sosa, Modric, and Brozovic on the pitch together, there’s enough creativity there to make Michelangelo proud!
And Pongracic with a 94th minute red
Halilovic with the winner for Birmingham. Not a typo. Start Alen or we riot says one Birmingham supporter on twitter. Lol
Sosa just too good. 7 assists in 7 games
Pograncic starting
