Luka Sučić is on absolute fire for Red Bull Salzburg to end the Austrian season. Sučić scored on a well controlled run at goal while the Wien defense was chasing him down Sunday to make it 3-0 in the 28th minute. He also earned a penalty kick for his side in the 2nd half of the 5-0 victory. The win sealed the 2022 Austrian title for Red Bull Salzburg for the ninth straight season and also earned them a berth in the next Champions League group stage.
Sučić needs to be a large part of Dalić’s plans for Nations League games in June.
Ivan Perišić assists Marcelo Brozović to make it 2-0 Inter Milan versus Roma on Saturday. Perišić made a nice run to stay onside before dishing it to Broz, who struck the ball top shelf from a tight angle. With the 3-1 victory over Roma, Inter Milan remain two points behind rivals, AC Milan, for the Serie A lead with a game in hand. If Inter win their remaining five matches (all against bottom-10 clubs in Italy) they will be crowned Italian champions for the second season running.
Mario Pašalić cleaned up an easy tap-in goal for Atalanta Saturday as the ball came off the crossbar. Pašalić has been quiet in 2022 as Atalanta have slumped compared to last year’s top-4 finish. They beat Venezia 3-1.
Luka Modrić and Real Madrid have the weekend off. They will face Manchester City Tuesday in the 1st Leg of the Champions League semifinals

Pasalic loitering in the penalty area as usual. He has cooled off a bit prior to this goal. Hopefully, this gets him going again.
Rog came off the bench again and looked okay. Almost scored a goal. Near the end, Badelj beat him to a header and eventually got it back for the game winning goal. Badelj is still such a boss in the midfield, albeit for Genoa.
Sucic with another goal today. He also won a penalty. He’s really starting to grow. He’s probably ready to move from the Austrian league to a better league.
Would like for him to stick around at Salzburg, to help Roko get acclimated and develop chemistry together.
RB Salzburg are regulars in European tournaments, so he’ll still get his fair share of quality competition.
I agree would love for him and simic to dominate Austria and maybe make surprise or two In champions league together
These two very much may be the near future for the repka and it’s exciting to see such young kids be so advanced for us
Mix it with gvardiol. These are three POTENTIAL world class guys for us. I didn’t say they are world class yet
How does a sucic kova broz midfield line up? Can there styles suit each other?
I think Dario will help guide roko to smaller more successful steps even tho a big club may call soon
Hope sucic makes these smaller steps as well
With veterans at the repka there to help them make good choices like luka and co I feel this helps

Odds to win the group (pinnacle.com):
Belgium -191
Croatia +253
Morocco +1093
Canada + +1230
Pasalic is kinda funny. He’ll be invisible for a bit then strike when the time is right. Damn good footballer!
I have an explanation for Atalanta’s drop off
No regular appearances by Josip Ilicic and Gomez going off to Sevilla
For mind Mario Pasalic is not a 90 minutes player and at least Dalic has that selection correct by playing him off the bench
I would throw him in to replace budimir if he gets tired
Pašalić is a good “joker”.
Kinda like Nuno Gomes.
I would never start him either. He’s much better coming off the bench.
Broz goal was something special…one of the best goals of the season. He is just getting better and better. Even if he didn’t score any goals, he would still be inter’s MVP. It’s funny how Inter went from completely dominating the game (3-0), to almost falling apart, shortly after Broz and Perišić came off at the end.
More often then not
Peak Dinamo beats team Canada
Yes or no?
Yes, even an average Dinamo team would beat Canada more often than not. 😉
Absolutely not! Dinamo can not contain Canada’s strikers (David and Larin). Everything else is a debatable wash.
Ok Dinamo with say add gvardiol back on D;)
Sure Dinamo is that incredible Lol!! What a joke, they don’t even have a solid striker, they may win the Croatian league but to suggest they would take in an international squad, that is a bit disrespectful. On any given day any team could win, Croatia needs to go into that group with the right strategies in mind and do a mosh mash like they did against Bulgaria because we were one step away from losing that game…
By the way I think Dinamo’s first step should be to win a major tournament like Europa League or Champions League which no Croatian club team has come close to achieving yet…
I’d say they’re on par.
If they were Canadian, all of Dinamo’s first team players would be called up for Canada.
Canada has Davies and David, who would be the best players from both teams.
But the rest of that Canadian squad is worse than the majority of Dinamo’s first team players.
Good to see pasalic get on board. He seems to be quiet lately
How’s his play been overall recently?
Was browsing inter stuff online and found this gem
Perisic is on another level right now

Man they are on fire
I really do think we would be better off if World Cup was in summer with our current form
Still I have Canadian friends talking trash like all we have is luka
We shall see….
That’s some educated trash talk right there, lol.
They just keep going with world rankings
I said we were up there plenty
This team can definitely beat our high ranking team
So screw your World Cup rankings
I guess they aren’t football fans; didn’t watch the last World Cup? lol
I live in Canada, no one talks shit to me about the game. They know what’s up. They mainly joke if I’d support Canada (which I do but that’s exactly where it ends).
you are supporting the country | like Canada |
where people mock our beloved Jesus as a Gay…
they mock our mother Marry |the blessed woman in the Quran}
so you have No Brain! | }
Laknat you should do some heavy dosing of psychedelics. I say this with love and honesty
It may make you chill out and see things are not so black and white
we as Muslims must adopt actions
which will build our character and our traits that would be consistent with the guidance from the supreme creator.!
stop smoking
stop drinking alcohol
don’t support feminism – _)
don’t support LGBT – _)
fornication -> prohibited -o
Don’t do that, my friend!!| I am telling you the Truth_
Honestly, you need to stop commenting on this site Laknat. It is getting irritating. It’s a sports site, if you don’t like sports that don’t comment and don’t contribute. Just to point out, there is a female Muslim soccer team now. Just thought you should see for yourself, it’s what one of your countries are currently doing. By the way there are many Muslim nations that have soccer teams and partake in soccer. Does that mean that Muslim’s are idolaters as well?!
Quit it, stop commenting, and get a life.
That is what they now… Most people in Canada, and the States for that matter, do not have a grasp of soccer yet. All they know is MLS, which is not a good measuring stick. Just look at how difficult the year has been for either Davies or Pulisic…that will tell you. This doesn’t mean they are not good players, it just means it is incredibly difficult to be consistent once you get to that stage at either of the bigger leagues. Bigger leagues being, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and such….
Perisic … to Brozovic … gooooooooool !
