Andrej Kramarić scored a near perfect free kick against Bayern Munich on Saturday to force a 1-1 draw for his Hoffenheim side. The goal came in the 71st minute as Krama curled the ball over the wall and off the diving fingertips of goalkeeper Sommer. The free kick forced a 1-1 draw which temporarily shook up the Bundesliga title race, however, Dortmund also drew on the day as well. Bayern lead Dortmund by two points with six matches remaining.
Has Dalić just found his new Croatian free kick taker? Union Berlin right winger Josip Juranović rifled in a free kick from 26 yards out Sunday night against Bochum. This has now been a regular occurrence for Juranović singing coming over from Celtic in January. Should he start taking free kicks for the Vatreni? Union Berlin and Bochum ended 1-1.
Ivan Perišić had a fantastic start to the match versus Bournemouth as he assisted on Son’s opening goal. However, like clockwork, Spurs shit the bed once again by conceding a 95th minute winner to Bournemouth that will surely end their top-4 finish hopes. Perišić was given a 6/10 grade from Football London as he was “Heavily involved early on including another assist for Son after a run down the left, but had less and less of an influence as proceedings wore on apart from a late corner that Richarlison should have headed home.”
Luka Modrić played the last 10 minutes of Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Cadiz.
Mateo Kovačić came off the bench in the 57th minute as Chelsea lost another match, this time to Brighton 2-1. Brighton scored the winner 20 minutes from time in front a very unhappy Stamford Bridge. Chelsea host Real Madrid in their 2nd leg midweek.
Joško Gvardiol played 90 minutes in RB Leipzig’s 3-2 win over Augsburg which keeps the club in the Bundesliga top-4 with only six matches remaining in the season.
Stanisic is really unlucky. Tuchel not a fan of stanisic..probably dinamo zagreb beat chelsea and cause his the job. Croatia is a rival of germany too

I wouldn’t say Stani has been unlucky, he had the chance to leave Bayern in the summer and refused in order to fight for a spot in the squad that was barely there for him.
That was a sweeeeet goal by Juranovic..
He hustles and plays hard. Solid player.
We should give him a couple free kicks in the upcoming games and see what happens!!!
We do need to see JJ on wing and stanisic behind him more going forward
That right side becomes more dynamic than the left after all these years of the left being the only way we could make an attack
Two Croatian goals from outside the penalty area – is that idiot poster still making bets on whether or not a Croat scores outside the box?
managingmadrid.com: Luka Modric—7: Silky and smooth coming into midfield keeping play moving and nearly scoring with the outside of his boot.
Certainly JJ making a case to take some free kicks
Do you guys think luka says no or dalic says no or what?
Like of course we trust in luka but sometimes I wonder when he is struggling on them maybe we need to switch it up
Agree with you, it is time for Modric to step back and let some other players take free kicks and corner kicks.
Yes. His service has been lacking for a while for free kicks and corners. It’s amazing how many guys we have that are capable. I was thinking about how many missed opportunities during the WC we had.
Luka was actually atrocious at corners in the WC…each and every one was short, yet they continued to let him take them.
I guess he can’t be perfect though he’s pretty damn close.
Danny – totally agree. But only if Juranovic is playing as a RW for us. He’s had a number of defensive mistakes that have directly led to a goal.
He would be much more effective as a winger while providing us some defense..Stanisic should be our RB.
Luka’s free kicks and especially his corners have lacked for sometime as Dumbic said. If I see another one of those short corners by Modric…..
I feel like rakitic should have probably taken more for us over the years as well….
Juranovic has been nothing but class at Union Berlin
Juranovic beauty free kick:

This link shows it from a few different angles. The female commentator says that she’s half Croatian for an added bonus🤣
Perišić plays wingback and at looks great!
Spurs are a mess.
Talk about busts.
Richarlison gets Perisic corner dropped on his head and unmarked he can’t even get it on frame!
Perišić at 34 is a specimen.
His technique is sharper than ever.
He can head right back to Italy or Germany after this stop in London.
Perišić’s throw-in results in a game tying goal for the Spurs, who squander the game in stoppage time and lose 3-2.
Ivan’s corner in stoppage could have been the game-winner, but the header was just wide to the right. Had a great chance to score, but blasted the ball well over the crossbar. I’m sure someone here will blame the Premier League style of play for his miss. 😉
So many issues on this team. No chemistry among the players at all. Just 11 players thrown out in the starting lineup who are good and can’t string together 3 consecutive passes.
The chemistry element is what plagues most EPL teams. You either play in England for money and fame or you go there because good food, wine, and women don’t interest you.
Ha!
Which probably explains why Croats, Italians, Spaniards generally don’t go to EPL.
Kramaric free kick gol !
Yeah, but let us know when he scores against quality competition. Oh wait… 😉
