Nikola Vlašić scored his second goal of the Serie A season Sunday night in an impressive 3-0 win over last year’s Italian champions: Napoli. With Torino already up 1-0 against 10-man Napoli in the 52nd minute, Vlašić ripped a low shot from 20 yards out just inside the left goal post. Torino was always the right club for Vlašić after West Ham; he simply “failed to launch” compared to the expectations fans have given him. Hopefully he will add more goals to his Italian account leading up to Euro 2024. With the win, Torino now sit in the top half (#10) of the Serie A Table.
Petar Musa came off the bench Saturday in the 72′ to score his fifth goal of the Portuguese season in a 3-0 Benfica victory over Arouca. Musa has become a super-sub for Benfica this year, tallying five goals and two assists in only 13 appearances. This may very well be the ceiling for Musa for both club and country. Nonetheless, a fantastic back-heel flick from Musa.
Both Mateo Kovačić and Joško Gvardiol got the start Sunday vs. Huddersfield Town in a 5-0 FA Cup 3rd Round victory. Kovačić played 75 minutes and supplied an assist to Phil Foden during the match. Kovačić received a 8/10 grade from 90min.com. “Whenever City did lose possession, Kovačić was quickly on the scene to correct things. Nice flick assisted Foden’s second.” Gvardiol played the full 90 minutes, moving from the left-back position to the center for this match. Will Pep keep him there? Unlikely. 90min.com gave Gvardiol a 7/10 grade. “Similarly to Dias, always looked assured with little threat posed.”

Cool little story.
Wow, nice bit of history there.. thanks BEĆAR.
And well done Niksi, would you not do that for the repka next time.
Dino Klapija going to Leipzig for 5M EU. ANyone know if he is planning to play for HRV or USA?
He’s played for both. His family all moved to Croatia already.
Not sure who he is playing for going forward, but I figure it would be Croatia.
I think someone posted an article here a few months ago when Arsenal was interested in him.
Croatia will have to work for him. He isnt croatian, but has croatian paperwork
His parents are Croatian, no? But he was born in the USA. Like a lot of us on this forum, Croatian parents but we were born somewhere else. I know who I would represent 🇭🇷
Musa would never have gotten a cross like that in a National Team game. There is zero chemistry between him and the rest of the team.
I was rooting for him since he’s got the height, can finish but showed little when given the chance.
Vlasic needs a transfer and immediately scores taking his tally to two for a little over half a season yet Kova scores ten goals over ten years and around here is praised as if he’s the second coming. 😆
Do you have anything else to say other than “kova sucks”? Its getting really annoying.
Calm down mate. I’m just highlighting certain biases around here. Kova is just the perfect tool to do it. Kova is also a Serb sympathiser if that helps any? 😆
First of all, most people on this site criticize Kova all the time. Secondly…why do you think he is a jugo/serb lover? This is the first i have ever heard of this. He is a very religious Catholic, so I am very surprised if he was a dirty jugo.
I hear you Eric. But you can’t reason with QAnon lunatics. Jewish space lasers and Trump are their world. Sigh
I’m neither a Trump supporter or anti Zionist person. I tend to treat people as individuals regardless of race, gender, religion or ethnicity. But to you I’m a lunatic and that’s your opinion and I applaud you for it champ.
How old are you?
I’m 36 years old mate. How old are you?
Cool. What did you learn at your Sunday morning sermon?
I don’t go to church anymore except for funerals and weddings. So I have not learned anything from a sermon in quite a while. But I did answer your question as to how old I am and when I asked the same of you, I get a deflection asking about sermons.
@Bila Lasica
If you’re not anti-zionist, that’s not good! You know it’s the same incompetent politicians that dumped a majority Catholic Croatian people into communist Yugoslavia to be dumbed down (when you had a good dictator of your own in the NDH) that have caused all this sh*t that’s going on in the middle east? And because of those incompetent politicians there was a sham homeland war where a lot of dumbed down Croats gave their lives for Tito’s youngest general, communist Franjo Tudjman. Now you have a parliment full of commies pretending to oppose one another.
You got to be an anti-zionist to be a good Croat.
When I listen to Zdravko Čurić & Sinovi Hercegovine sing “MOŽEŠ LI MI OPROSTITI ZEMLJO MOJIH PRADJEDOVA,” and I hear them ask: “whose fault is it that brothers have been scattered around the world,” I wonder how you dumbed down children of the diaspora would answer that question? We know that it’s not in Ante Kvartuc’s best interests to answer it because he’s attempting to unite you guys in anonymity and diversity, dumbing you guys down further in the process, but does anyone else care to give it try?
The big Croatians of this world have a Serb like Sasa Matic perform at their wedding? Don’t confuse religion and nationality, being a supposed good Catholic does not make a person more or less Croatian and vice versa. That’s a reductive way of thinking.

Oh ok. Right on
Can we agree to disagree without having issue simplified by ” Ad Hominem” discussions.
Bill:
I don’t believe these evil people on this site who believe Kovacic is “All That”, exist. If so, maybe empathizers would be a better word.
For the most part everyone agrees that Kovacic is limited. Join the group of non- believers.
The question is, what current players do we have, who you would insert in his place. Ante Kvartuc is a proponent, that Mateo and Luka should not be playing at the same time for instance, because they represent the same skill set.
Who would you put in his place, that shows the greatness that you are seeking?
Z:
Likewise, these evil Trump people, that you put in a nice box, are not as prevalent at you think. Again, maybe empathizers would be a better word.
I believe, most people that support Trump, disdain his many character flaws What they do like is the policies which include:
Reduction of Unfunded War Activity to Support the Whole World
A focus on Internal Affairs to create a strong Economy.
Policies fostering job creation.
Being Energy self sufficient
A focus on Economic stability.
Operation of country for the benefit of the citizens of the United States rather than the rest of the world.
Likewise, people who like Biden realize he is in late stages of dementia, and that he and his son, are to some degree corrupt.
What people do like, is the ideas they deem excellent and good policies regarding:
A Focus on Green Stability Issue
Attacking Global Warming
Compassion for the Poor of this world and provide them a new home in the United States
Compassion for Everyone who has every felt a victim and to remedy it by government mandate.
Providing opportunity for the youth/poor with affordable education
These are all admirable aspirations as well.
All good mate. You have your view of Kova’s play and I have mine. At the end of the day Dalic makes the decision of who plays. But you never addressed Kova’s association with Serbs. Why is that?
Because, even though Marko Thompson music brings a tear to my eye, let’s face it for most, the issue is as clear as mud for most. Kova ancestors were blacksmiths, that much we now.
For example: Goran Ivanišević is Djokovic coach and Djokovic mother for all intensive purposes is Croatian, born of Croatian parents. Djokovic cheered on Croatian soccer team.
I have a great-grandmother with Kovacic last name but she was from Austria, in the area of slovenia.
Luka Doncic mother is Slovenian, and his father was a Slovene Serbian. They call Luka a Slovenian.
Djokovic’s mother Croatian? Are you serious? She was born to Jug parents in Belgrade. That he has supposed Croatian blood makes him even worse than the average Serb as he feels he has to overcompensate for being a half-breed. His father was born in Kosovo and his grandfather was born in Montenegro. I’ll give him this even though his roots aren’t from Serbia he’s the biggest Cedo going around nowadays. Would not piss on him if he was burning.
Kvartuc is the man who keeps saying what DAjjal will say at the end of time that God will bless those who bless alcohol, lgbt, and free sex during a Christmas
then curse those who curse it [ the pagan festival ]
@Ivan
Dajjal for you, Antichrist for us Catholics.
Antichrist, who will be a politician with a satanic spirit, will come saying: “Think ye, that I am come to give separation on earth? I tell you, no; but peace.”
The only people that won’t be picking their poison in the end times will be the good Catholics that believe,
Apocalypse 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

you should know where the Antichrist is
| Tamim al-Dari | He was a Christian > >
the Christian man who met Antichrist1.
@Ivan
You should know that the Antichrist will come in his own name, and not in the name of His Father like the Messiah did.
He introduced himself –> I am Christ -0
to Tamim al-Dari [ he was a Christian… ]
did you watch the video?
@Ivan
No. Reading the Bible is adequate for me, but I do understand why the inadequate Koran would compel Mohammedan people to watch YouTube videos, they need more.
Maybe Ante Kvartuc will enjoy your video?
We have no concern over who or where the antichrist is, he is already defeated. We wait for the coming of the Lord in glory and judgement!
‘That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of the things in heaven, of the things on earth and the things under the earth. And that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’
Oh and btw if your real name is Ivan my name is Mustafa
Bog i Hrvati
Will Pep keep him there? Who knows…….
