Andrej Kramarić ends the Bundesliga season with a hat trick vs. Bayern Munich! Since April 7th, Kramarić has scored 7 goals to go along 5 assists in seven Bundesliga matches. He’s on FIRE! Krama will end the season with 15 goals in 30 appearances. Absolutely fantastic numbers for the 32 year-old striker!
Mateo Kovačić and Joško Gvardiol are English Premier League champions with Manchester City! City defeated West Ham 3-1 on the final day of the Premier League season to secure their fourth straight domestic title. Gvardiol played the full 90 minutes and received a 7/10 grade from Goal.com with “No goals this time but he was excellent at bringing the ball into midfield, keeping the play flowing and out-muscling his opponents.” Kova came off the bench in the 90′ for Foden.
Josip Stanišić and Bayer Leverkusen complete an “Invincibles” undefeated Bundesliga season with a 2-1 win over Augsburg on Saturday. Leverkusen go 28-6-0 during their 2023/24 German campaign and are the first Bundesliga club in history to go undefeated. Stanišić played the last 10 minutes of the match off the bench. Reports are saying that he would like to stay at Leverkusen than go back to Bayern Munich, who currently own him.
Luka Sučić scored twice (once from the spot) and assisted in RB Salzburg’s 7-1 season finale victory over LASK Sunday. The win wasn’t enough to earn Salzburg the Austrian Bundesliga title, falling short to Sturm Graz by two points. Salzburg will enter Europe in Champions League qualifying after the summer break. Sučić will finish the campaign (all competitions) with 5 goals and 7 assists in 33 matches. That all comes after returning from knee surgery plus a mid-season knee injury. Roko Šimić will end the Bundesliga season with 5 goals and one assist.

You can’t actually think that the trio of modric, brozovic, and kovacic are better or even the same as 1.5 years ago in the world cup
modric: I’ve have always been a supporter of modric even before the wc successes and in the darkness of the purgeri perjury of the mamic case when most on this board had foresaken him. But the guy was a madrid starter 1.5 years ago to now a 20 minute guy looking at going to miami
brozovic: last world cup he was arguably the best midfielder in italy and now he’s nutmegging camels
kovacic: he has had a very spotty year and is older, but also the least susceptible to decline
the stanisic vs juranovic argument is a very fair one and one i presented myself to being open to. I always liked stanisic’s speed and toughness but I never saw a lot of go forward influence. Juranovic was crucial in several matches and not really responsible for any losses.
like I said, it’s tough to see this team overall better than wc 22. The great news like I mentioned though is that the form of the players is recently high.
You are being disingenuous.
Kovacic did have a spotty year, but that is completely irrelevant. He started off poorly but then made up for it with his current form…and ALL that matters is his current form (and you know this).
With Broz, you are deliberately avoiding talking about his injury prior to the last World Cup, which affected his form. He did not have a good tournament, so even though you are sneakily trying to focus on his good season at Inter as a comparable…ALL that matters was his form and performance at that World Cup, and it wasn’t great. It won’t be hard for Broz to replicate or top his performance at the last tournament.
Modric may be a 20-minute per game guy on the best team in the World, but he would also start on any National Team in the World.
Even his potential dropoff from the last World Cup is debatable, and you could argue that the added rest via “load management” may actually help us this tournament (as he seemed to have zero impact or rust to his game whenever he did play for Real this year).
Again, I think you know this already and are just trying to argue a point to play devil’s advocate.
I think it’s very likely that our midfield trio puts in a better performance than they did at the last World Cup (where it was our wingers who were the ones that stole the show).

His intelligence transcends the pitch.
His reduced roll at RM will have him fresh for Croatia.
The legend continues..
Gvardiol should play out his contract at CroCity and then go on a free to Real Madrid.
He will be like in his mid 20”s, prime to begin his Real Madrid career.
Get the whole BAG of $$ from Real Madrid like Mbappe.
There’s an active SN poll on whether Dalic should have invited Orsic. For the last 20 minutes, ‘Da’ camp stands at 47% versus ‘Ne’ camp at 53%.
47% is still a very sizable number, considering Orsic is not starting at his club and only recently came back.
People know that he’s an impact player, and this is Dalic’s biggest mistake on that callup list.

btw if anyone was wondering about luka vuskovics loan situation at radom, couple weeks ago their president confirmed that theyre happy with how hes performed and that theyre in very advanced talks to keep him at the club next season

If he likes it there, great! Seems like he enjoyed the season and Poland.. he can’t go to England for a couple more years anyway
@ mali ante
Is there one of those assessments you disagree with? I think they are pretty spot on . As always, I like to look at things objectively rather than through homer glasses. It is what makes so many of my assessments and predictions so accurate
Excuse me while I hurl a little.
My homer glasses are on tight.
Gvardiol, Stanisic, Kramaric are all in excellent form and definitely an upgrade over the position in the last World Cup. Juranovic has always and will always be a defensive liability. Yes he offered some width on the right but it came with a price.
Gvardiol will play LB as it’s unlikely you see Sosa play who has barely played as of late (Sosa might be the only one I agree with in your assessments). This will be a massive upgrade.
Sutalo has had a decent last few games and seems to have settled in at Ajax.
Kovacic has actually been good the last stretch and Modric had been Modric when he plays.
Even Brozo has 2 goals & 2 assists in his last 5 games.
I can keep going….
Also, 5 goals in 28 Austrian Bundesliga games for Roko Simic. Not the worst stats for a 20 year old, but nothing that indicates he’ll be a world-class striker or even a regular future starter for the HNS at the moment. In his defence, most of those 28 games saw him come on from the bench.
Marin Ljubicic had a decent season in Austria, but there were definitely a few long goal droughts in there.
As of now Marin ljubicic has proven more and deserves to be higher in the pecking order.
He plays in the same league and has lesser talent around him yet has produced more. They are roughly the same age as well!
Hopefully both can grow over the next couple years
The best way to assess/compare is add up all the minutes and divide by # goals/assists – so he u come up with goals/assists per x minutes
That takes care of variance in minutes per appearance
we need a player who will center the ball in throw-in
as if it were a corner kick
I wonder if Musa gets called up again if he keeps his decent form up in the states.
Doubt simic shd be called up..we can continue to monitor.
Quite disappointed with initial first choice LB and RB sosa and juranovic..look at national players market value in transmarket..juranovic missed penalty and started his first game for month.
In attack, i really hope budimir can pick up his momentum after recent injury.
No sure if vlasic can recover in time..pasalic and vlasic have dropped from 25M to 13M in valuation recently.
I really hope orsic can be called up..but sadly he is playing too little with no shots yet for past few matches.
I do hope other players can step in playing in bigger leagues..instead of relying too much on brozovic kovacic and modric who are in their 30s now. Really hope musa can return to top 5 league.
Hope we can do well in this euro
Careful looking at “valuation” – there can be a lot of noise (e.g. age, contract length (e.g. if last year vs. just renewed), etc)
Others are pegged to last deal Musa, Broz
Others are just completely wrong e.g. Brekalo (2016 MV 1 m vs. 10 m fee paid by Wolfsburg and 2022 MV 8 m vs. 1.8m fee paid by Florentina)
Some are just silly for under the radar payers e.g. Marco P 3.5m (vs. Jarrod Bowen 50 m) or P Sucic 1m
Luka Vuskovic 14m fee by Spurs vs. 7m MV (he’s MV should be at least value Spurs paid for him plus add in for his very good first year in Poland, etc)
Luka Sucic 18m “MV” is just the release clause in his contract
Lovro Zvonarek 1.5m “MV” (has been the same for 2 years) is another e.g. of completely silly – he already has 4 appearances in the Bundesliga (started and played 90′ vs. Wolfsburg) and just turned 19 y.o. and just extended his contract thru 2027)
Not sure what the “right” MV for him is – but it’s way higher than 1.5m, lol
Gvardiol “MV” was 19m when he was sold to Leipzig for 38m
His “MV” was 75m when he was sold for 90+m (it was only as high as 75m to begin w/ due to rumours in the press)
Grealish 65m “MV” vs. 118m fee
etc etc etc
If Zvonarek’s MV is actually 1.5M then let’s put all our money together and buy him.
We’d 10x our money in a week.

Dear HNS –
shop.hns.family/nike/dres-match-away-dfadv-aw-m
Now that Dalic has announced the squad – are you planing to update the list of players for people to order the kit in ? Pls stop drinking coffee for a sec and do some work. It’s been weeks since I mentioned this and u still haven’t done it (it should literally take a couple minutes – no lazy excuses).
Marco Pasalic (as predicted aka our “Jarrod Bowen”) and Mario Pasalic are both included
Can we have #24 “Marco” and #15 “Mario” (and get rid of the “M. Pasalic” and “Pasalic” – which is down-right silly and so low IQ – it doesn’t work they BOTH have their first name STARTING with the letter M – let’s at least pretend we know how to read and write and apply logic/reason at the Kindergarten level)
Plz look at how our Serb brothers do it – they have “Sergej” and “Vanja” (where I would note – in that case – the “S. Milinković-Savić” and “Milinković-Savić” or “V. Milinković-Savić and “Milinković-Savić” would actually, and ironically, work.)
Thx
Also u need to add Baturina
And delete Livaja (!!!), Moro (!!!!! bhahaha), Musa, Beljo, Brekalo, Skoric
Again – I have these smart comments a month ago – by in typically lazy Croatian fashion u haven’t been able to get it down
Plz complete the changes in next 24 hours
Our opponents think – if Croatia is so sloppy with they can’t figure out how to label jerseys and which players to offer – how sloppy are they in preparations for the matches
x.com/HNS_CFF/status/1792499765810249754
Nice to c Marco P, L Sucic and Baturina
Wouldn’t take a healthy Vlasic never mind one that’s injured
He’s last man in pecking order for “#10” (and he “can’t” play wing)
Who can play LB beyond Sosa ? Is there any defender on the list w/ a left-foot (beyond Gvardiol)
Gvardiol has to be CB #1 (taking on lead man) while other CB takes next man
U can’t play Gvardiol at LB – otherwise u’ll c RM vs. Man City 2nd half (where they over-loaded the right-hand-side of Man City so didn’t have to deal w/ Gvardiol) – and we have Stanisic who is okay but not some defensive guru (if JJ at RB even less so)
Whoever is the best available left-footed LB/CB should be added (and drop one of the redundant right-footed CB who will never see the field) if the best we have is Barisic so be it
No surprises with Dalic’s EURO squad list. Vlasic is on it; however, he has to prove his fitness. Feel sorry for Orsic, but it was expected that he was going to miss out having played very little since returning from the knee surgery. I was hoping that Kotarski was going to be our third goalkeeper ahead of Labrovic.
So I think we’re going into Euro’s close to as best as we could hope for, but the odds are it still won’t be enough for a heavy run. The positive is for now players are healthy and in relatively good form. Lets go to the grid and assess how the starting position is relative to last world cup and current form rated 1 to 5 (5 being the highest)
Goalie: Livakovic: Form 3: Worse than last wc (can’t possibly be better than that)
LB: For now Sosa: Form 1: Worse
CB: Gvardiol: Form 4: Same
CB: Sutalo: Form 2: Worse
RB: Stanisic: Form 4: Same (juranovic was very good last time and key)
MF: Brozovic: Form 3: Worse
MF: Modric: Form 3: Worse
MF: Kovacic: Form 3: Worse
LW: Ivanusec: Form 2: Worse
RW: Kramaric: Form 5: Worse
C: Budimir: Form 2: Same
Bench: Form 2: Worse.
First round opponent: much harder.
Venue: Much better: German climate both favorable and likely one of the best homefield advantages after the hosts.
Let’s rate your assessing abilities….
Truth2 – Form 0: Worse
Ko te jebe….
The Truth2: Form 5 (5 = highest): BUDALA
What an absolute clown. No guy is in better form now than two years ago? Put the pipe down.
Karlsruher won 3-0 at Elversberg over the weekend. Our striker prospect Igor Matanovic didn’t pick up a goal or assist in this match. Hmm, in fact, he missed a big chance in the 42′ after going one-on-one with the keeper.
However he was quite instrumental in making the 2nd goal happen in the 56’… he dribbled his way into the box and finding himself without a clear shooting chance, he cut the ball back for his teammate whose shot was blocked by an Elversberg defender. The rebound went to another teammate whose shot (note that it would have been off-target) was deflected into goal by that same earlier defender who just got up from the ground and quickly stuck out his foot, lol. Talk about creating chaos in their defense.
This move by Matanovic finally confirmed for me what MART and Maminjo said earlier… Matanovic might not have pace in abundance but he’s definitely a big, strong guy with good technique. Have a look guys:
https://www.sport1.de/tv-video/video/sv-elversberg-karlsruher-sc-0-3-tore-highlights-2-bundesliga__DA288D3C-EFE7-4593-9350-1F1E9E2F4413
(02:43 Matanovic forces his way into the box)
Matanovic finished the 2. Bundesliga season with 14 goals in 32 appearances. Personally I wish he had netted 1 or 2 more but I hope his overall contribution has been good. Litmus test for him next season at Eintracht where Marmoush (a versatile forward) is basically untouchable in the starting lineup while Ekitike, who is a pure center forward and cost the club €16.5m, was in red-hot form toward the end of the current season. In comparison, Matanovic was transferred from St Pauli in summer 2021 for only €500k.

Seems like Musa scored again, in another Texas derby, this time against Houston Dynamo.
Lovro Zvonarek didn’t make Dalic’s list … is that surprising??
It’s not, he would be a “future star” pick and we don’t usually do that kinda thing… and midfield is a tough group to crack

It’s crazy to think sucic is barely on our team right now. He’s got to be ready and looked at for June?
He’s in fine form
Gvardi top form
Stanisic top form
Kova good form
Sucic top form
Modrić still in god mode
Krama Bayern destroying mode
Budimir still one of the higher scorers in Spain
Mario pasalic not a terrible season after a slow start I feel
Mail pasalic. Looks like a killer in the making
Pjaca I can’t comment on
Sutalo erlic and other cbs i don’t know about you guys
Broz maybe questions cause of Saudi
Petko I feel shows up
If livakovic can go insane again
We have a recipe for success friends
Basically more hrvati in Germany then in Croatia for that month
Dalic praying and has mastered the art of coaching the repka maybe?
Can this be a magical run???!
It’s in order to get them into condition for the final
Definitely very happy for Luka Sucic who’s done so well since coming back from knee surgery plus that knee issue a few months back— he even finished as his team’s top rated player (for Austrian league performances) on sofascore.
If he’s indeed moving on this summer, then I feel it was kind of a nice way for him to finish his time at Salzburg with this weekend’s MOTM performance while wearing the armband (fyi Sucic filled in as captain for the last 3 games).
Lastly, if Dani Olmo were to leave Leipzig in the summer (rumors are saying for Barca), I wonder if there’s any possibility Leipzig might see Sucic as a potential replacement…
I’m surprised that he came back the way he did from such a bad knee injury.
He seemed to be the only one of our young prospects to be able to come back from his knee injury, without seemingly losing a step.
Glad it was one of our top rated prospects in Sucic that managed to recover so well.
Cro city EPL champions!!
Gvardiol shaping into a world class left back.
That training and experience at Man City has taken his game to the highest level.
Jarni was the last dominate force at LB for Croatia.
Stanisic has had the best loan year in the history of the bundesliga.
Finally we have real fullbacks on both sides.
That type of width stretches the pitch for our midfield technicians.
Marco Pasalic on the right wing.
Perisic/Pjaca on the left.
Question?
Who is better 10 than Modrić ?
I like Maher but is he really in better form than Modrić right now ?
I would always start Modrić unless we have things locked up in the group and want to give some young legs run out.
Germany stadiums will be full of Hrvati.
Tried three times to get tickets. Cousin lives in Berlin. No dice. Stall stall stall, clog clog clog. Spain-Hrvatska cheapest on Stubhub is $440 for one ticket. Croatia games will have better atmosphere than German ones.
BTW via managingmadrid.com:
Luka Modric—8: Playing with a bounce in his step, connecting passes and always one step ahead of the opposition defender.
Kane should follow kova around if he wants a title
Great to see Kovacic and Gvardiol both lift the Premier League trophy today at the Etihad. Kova was ecstatic…a big day for them…great to see.
Sosa not even on the bench. Will he make the squad for Euro?
He will be on the squad for sure…but probably won’t be starting.
Looks like Sheffield United has already given up on Ivo Grbic. He hasn’t been playing the last few games and not today, last game of the season. If they didn’t want to see him today, then they probably don’t want him in the future. I was really hoping for another option for keeper for the HNS but it looks like he is not it.
It’s not like he’s young or anything.
Rather focus on guys like Labrovic and Kotarski.
The goal parade continues. Sucic with a goal and assist so far and Simic has also banged one in.
AZ and Davor spinning in their (psychological) graves
Sutalo scored his first goal today in the 2-2 tie with Vitesse. It came off a short corner kick, the ball moved across the field and then was put through, and he got his foot on it and knocked it in. Should help his confidence as the season closes….overall he probably played better last week. But getting his first goal at Ajax before he heads into the Euros is good news…..

It was stayed below young zvonarek looked lively in the loss
What do you guys see in him? I mean like who does he remind you of style wise from any current or former repka guys?
He’s played limited minutes so it’s hard to come with iron clad takes, but he makes smart decisions with the ball ( almost had a nice chested assist in a tight space that mueller didn’t finish) he’s consistently moving ( a couple times he did clog up space) and he has clean touches
The thing that stands out the most to me is it looks likes the Bayern squad respects him and applaud his decisions and are willing to move the ball thru him. Sometimes young prospects draw ire from vets, especially if they look like junk in practice and get subsequent minutes (even more so on big teams) …
I’d bring him to the euros
Zvonarek reminds me of Boban. Very elegant player who seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
He looks like Marko Rog to me.
Not how he plays, but he literally has Marko Rog’s face.
I just pray he doesn’t become the next Marko Rog on the field.
He legit does, I was a big marko rog guy too, he just never had the athleticism to make a difference
It’ll be telling this summer if he’s loaned out to “mature” or if Bayern want him on their bench next season.
https://youtu.be/TYxtCEiwG38?si=5–0lofBKvMRhWeW
I was reminded of this
Last day of league play kramaric may be one of
The all time great players
The no look penalty is just rude haha
So France England and Belgium can suit up 3/4 or greater men of color on their team & Croatia “perhaps!” Suiting ONE up in the future for the national team is embarrassing??
Am I missing something here ..even Italy has the odd black man starting for them!
Seriously you serb trolls are beyond pathetic… go back in your caves with your Marlboro’s your1983 Mercedes and adidas tracksuits!!
What an incredible display from krama. That first goal he set up was the best highlight
I get it’s the end of the year and Bayern has given up but still.
He’s playing some of his best right now
We don’t have our overall best team ever but I can’t say the guys overall have been in this individual form in a while
Tell me how has livakovic faired this season?? We really haven’t had too many updates
Back to gvardi. Have we ever had anyone at his Level at his age? It’s truly incredible. Had maybe not the best patches at times but he’s really shown a ton of growth
He was already top 3 defender at last World Cup
Let that sink in
And I don’t want to hear he got burned by messi. Just about everyone in the entire world has been burnt by messi
Everybody is playing very well right now except for maybe Sosa and Šutalo.
They’re the only ones I’m not hearing too much noise about…but they’re also not guaranteed starters anyway.
Ya I had hoped for good growth for both in Holland
How would you line the back 4?
Say Perisic isn’t an option at all for lb potentially
Sutalo had one of his better games of the season last week, a very solid game. I have watched many Ajax games on television this season. I thought he was their best defender last week. They play Vitesse in about four hours. Let’s see if Sutalo can have two good games back to back, and that might tell us he has turned the corner. It has been a disappointing season for both him and the team. Sosa and Medic were on the Ajax bench last week but did not play.
I can’t find a highlight, but Sutalo scored today.
the Francis news is really exciting. What is his background? Does he have a croatian parent as well?
As I’ve long said, we need to be realists here in terms of both winning soccer games but really also progressing the nation. The croatian population as a whole from an ethnic standpoint just won’t exist over time. These are just facts. The population is already in heavy decline and intermixing will continue to happen more and more. The idea of a croatian ethnicity is already largely a myth as the intermixing of croats which sit right at the european/asian/african cross roads has been rampant for centuries and millennia. To think there is much genetic difference between croats and other european people or really all people is silly.
As a result, we need to take the page from other european soccer powers and open up both our country and consequently our soccer team to immigration and be able to harness this additional talent. We need to think of croatia more so in nation terms than ethnic terms and when you do that you start to put the progress of the croatian nation as number one priority as opposed to some unrealistic and unworthy goal of croatian ethnic purity as the number one goal.
No offence truth guy, but you can keep saying the same spiel till your blue in the face, it doesn’t make an ounce of difference and it’s certainly doesn’t speak to the facts or any sense of realism that you suggest.
Your comment does not take into account the continued success of individual players and Croatia as a nation. I for one, with all due respect, strongly disagree with your opinion that the soccer nation as whole will not continue to excel. If that were true we would have dropped off after 98, but then 2018 happened. Then you’d said the same after 2018, and both the recent Nations League and World Cup happened (where Croatia won second and third respectively). I am going to say the opposite in that Croatia is long overdue to win one.
People were saying who will replace Modric when he leaves, but look at the incredible success for Gvardiol who is only 21 and playing in a top flight league in England. He was scoring against Madrid in the Champions League, and impressing both the coach and pundits over there.
Modric will have successors it is just a matter of when. The only hope that I have is that Croatia will win a major trophy with Modric still at the helm because I feel he deserves one.
In case you haven’t noticed, pretty much all of the Croatian players are currently in form, minus a couple in Perisic and Orsic. Albeit the two mentioned are exceptionally important to the overall squad we still have a squad with exceptional depth and incredible talent. So no I do not but in to your bullshit.
Apparently his mom is cro.
Here’s a question. Do you take an all white pulisic who doesn’t care about Croatia or a half Croat like him raised in croatia. Knows the language and all that stuff but cause he is mixed race he doesn’t look the part??
Im not trying to provoke an argument, im just saying who is considered “more” Croatian?!
If the kid is raised(born?), loves Croatia, wants to represent and is good enough… why the heck not
We accepted Eduardo, and were forced an inferior Samir
What about Dani olmo? Do we look the other way cause he is good and can pass for a croat looks wise?
If someone is born and raised in Croatia, then they’re Croatian.
The issue these Western countries are having with their first generation citizens, is due to high volume uncontrolled illegal immigration… coupled with the self-hating left wing culture where everything they do is to work against the native population (causing greater division and segregation within the country).
Croatia isn’t there immigration-wise or culturally. Maybe a bit of that exists in Zagreb, but the country is overwhelmingly proud.
Doesn’t matter how black you are, if you’re born and raised in Croatia….you’re wearing a checkered kit over a BLM t-shirt every day of the week.

???? agree with you all. My wife is from Kenya but she supports Hrvatska with all her heart because her husband that God gave her was is son of Croats.
If we were not too old we would have children, if my son was a long distance runner, he would rep either country of his choice but if he was a footballer, hands down he would represent Croatia ????????
Kenya is so poor they can’t even afford a domestic soccer league, so the choice would be obvious.
As stated, if you bleed the checkers, DNA doesn’t count. In the end we all come from Adam which is divided by Shem, Ham and Japheth.
As well the apostle Paul said the it best, if your a non circumcised gentile but love God, your a spiritual Jew but if your a circumcised Jew but hate God you are no better then any other pagan.
So if you bleed the checkers, you are a spiritual Croat, case closed.

Highlights from Morocco game
Francis draws penalty (for first goal)
Francis scores second goal
Look at the celebration – look 2:29 (you need to freeze frame it – still by still) – see the micro-aggression of Croatia #13 giving Francis a stiff left arm/hand (open palm) directly into his face – you need to freeze frame to see it – but it’s there (see how he changes the direction of his left palm from position that he will go jump on #16 (where back of hand might touch Francis) – and at last mili-second his left palm does a 180 – so that it ends up palm open into Francis face)
When’s the last time you’ve see a team-mates hand “accidentally” hit his own team-mate in the face during a celebration ?
This is yet another micro-aggression vs. Francis
I want the drugs that you’re taking. Ofcourse it’s accidental, they’re jumping onto eachother and a hand might hit someone’s face, who cares.
Here are the highlights

btw: look at the team photo line-up – start @ 8 seconds – see that micro-aggression by #2 – he doesn’t line-up w/ Francis (there is space in between for one person) – until #19 comes on field to complete the team – eventually #2 moves over and lines up next to Francis – but there is no reason they shouldn’t be like that from the start – that’s a micro-aggression
Someone from HNS should talk to #2 to improve his conduct with Francis (it’s the 3rd game they’ve played – they know how to line-up together by the now)
Look at celebration for 2nd goal
Francis wants to celebrate w/ Benkovic
But Benkovic pushes him off bc he needs to run down the field and slide
But Francis looks excluded from it all
Francis than only one just strolling to the corner celebration – bc Benkovic already shrugged him off
Most will not pick up on these micro-aggressions – but they are there
Look at post-match – start @ 2:55
What do you think a Croatian player must have said to England #17 – look at his facial expression and read his lips
It’s obvious
Croatia vs. England U15
Croatia wins 3-2

Francis Chinedu Echue draws a clever penalty (due to cute flick over 3 defenders) that led to the first goal by Paunovic (see 57′ min)
Second goal good pressing by Francis Chinedu Echue – Benkotic causes a turnover and beautiful 45 yard super-strike volley over the England keeper that the saw was way too high / off his line (see 131′ min)
3rd goal – world class goal by Francis Chinedu Echue – his positioning / run leading up to the headed pass to him was perfect – how he than maneuvers around the defenders (basically going 1 vs. 3) – excellent footwork and than using right foot to pass behind himself to his left foot and great strike (with his weaker left foot) into the net to win the game (while one of the England defenders was on their a*s) (see 204′ min)
Francis Chinedu Echue looks to be a fusion of a Drogba & Mandzukic – he’s very imposing on the field with his height / built (relative to other players / age cohort)
This guy will get a call up to senior team before we know it – he looks perfect to lead the Croatia line – hopefully he growths and fills out even more – and will have good pace too – his work rate looks to be very high
And before yesterday nobody ever even heard of him
Croatia U15 next plays Portugal tomorrow
If you look after he scores to winning goal
Minimal celebration
He picks up the ball and races back to half-way line to re-start the game
Obviously when you score to go ahead – there is usually a big celebration
Not this kid – he wants the game to re-start – bc he wants to score more
Winners mentality
