Ante Budimir (above) scored La Liga goal #17 Friday night as Osasuna blew a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 to Levante. Budimir made a back-door run to goal and slammed the pass across the box off the right post and in to make it 2-0. The goal keeps Budimir in 3rd place for most goals in La Liga this season, only behind Mbappe (24) and Muriqi (21).
Ivan Perišić had a huge game with two goals and ‘Man of the Match’ honors in PSV’s 4-1 win over Go Ahead Eagles Sunday. Perišić opened the scoring with a MONSTER header from inside the box. In the 2nd half, he scored a wonderful near-post shot to absolutely frustrate the Eagles goalie on the day. Perišić now has 7G/10A in 29 Eredivisie matches this season for the Dutch champs.
Petar Sučić (above) scored a magnificent left-footed curler from outside the box as Serie A champions Inter Milan easily disposed of Lazio 3-0 Saturday. The Croatian CDM now has 2G/2A in 32 Serie A matches this season at only 22 years old.
Andrej Kramarić assisted on Hoffenheim’s lone goal Saturday in a 1-0 win over Werder Bremen. Hoffenheim must now better Stuttgart’s result or make up a massive -5 GD on the final day of the season to finish 4th and book a ticket to Champions League .

Gvardiol offered to Real Madrid
Olic announced U21 squad today
Everyone notice he called up at least 5 players from “Croatian 2nd division crap”
Including Kardum from Sesvete – first Croatia call since 2023 for U18
If Dalic had BALLS he’d also call up Saranic
Local clubs get $150k per player just for group stage
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Ghana are thinking about taking 3 players from their local🇬🇭🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Ghana are thinking about taking 3 players from their local league to the World Cup.
For every player they call up, FIFA would pay $11,000 per day. If they don’t make it out of the group stage, they would earn around $150,000.
This means that 3 local clubs would receive this money, which would mean a lot in the context of the league.
This money could even help the federation in the long run as well.

Gvardiol starting is massive! The fact he broke his leg and now starting today is remarkable. Why is everyone panicking? He needs to get his minutes in now. The friendlies in early June will help. 34 days away from the England game. Better to have him play now. Stanisic as a left back, Gvardiol in the middle with Vuksovic. Idk who you put as right back?
I think it will be Stanisic, Sutalo, DCC and Gvardiol in a 4 – 2 -3 -1 formation.
If we revert to 3 – 5 -2 it will be Sutalo, Vuskovic and Gvardiol.
If Vušković doesn’t start every minute in this tournament, then our Euro2024 failure wasn’t an aberration and the game has passed Dalić by.
There isn’t a coach on this planet that would bench Vušković for a player like Duje.
Mart is looking for clicks lol
Of course Vuskovic is playing every single minute in the tournament and 100% starting vs Harry Kane

Guys
Josko is covering Brennan Johnson
He’s the slowest and zero work rate RW in the league
The only thing he’s good at is finishing and being at the back post for a tap in
Basically this is the opposite of Stanisic having to cover Kvara for two legs
Gvardiol first half
– Blocks a shot from the other team that would have been dangerous
– Crosses the ball into the box and it flicks off Foden and Marmoush scores.
– Forden crosses it and Gvardiol heads it but the keeper makes a great save.
Overall, he seems to be putting effort into the match but is taking it lightly.
Happy anniversary of “the kick.” 🫡
Boban?
Gvardiol starting for city today! Insane
Yes unbelievable, starting as left back.
Got caught slightly out of position in the 2nd minute but the CP player was offside.
That is wild, idk how I feel about it thought.
Great that he is “healthy” enough to play but you would hope they’d ease him back. Last thing we need is for him to reinjure himself.
What?
Hopefully, he will get in game shape the next couple of weeks- and avoid injury.
Pletisoka nose picking sitting on his fat butt at Opus Arena adding no value
He could be using today to visit Dele Thomas and/or his mother and discussing the Croatia NT
Lazy nose pickers
Stojko 2 goals especially the first one making a late case for the WC
Should Fruk really go to the WC over Stojko ? He looks exhausted from a long season Fruk
Give the Wild One his chance – we haven’t had that level of crazy since Mandzo and we need it
Stojko risked his body on that Zajc chance more than Lovro has in his entire career
Plete just snagged us Filip Pavić.
He can take the rest of the year off for all I care.
lol
And Vujevic from Swiss (it’s kind of crazy two more CBs want to join the Croatia CB stockpile – so they think they’re going to be better than Vuskovic?)
Just to temper expectations on Pavic – he’s going U17 – if he was really close for Bayern 1st team presumably he’d be moved up to U21 or at least U19 level)
Braga just sold Zalazar for 30m to Sporting (outbidding Benfica)
Reminder – Braga wanted to buy Jaga to understudy Zalazar for half a season and take over when he leaves
Will now he’s left – Jaga is a like-for-like with Zalazar – he’s also starting to star for Uruguay
Can Andy F-ing Bara get on the phone today to Braga and try to broker a move for Jaga there
Today – not tomorrow – and after u arrange it fire Jaga current agent and take over permanently
Thomas. I think he was talked about a couple years ago. If it’s the same kid. Didn’t he actually spend some summers in Croatia?
Or am I thinking of someone else
I remember it being a darker skinned kid like dele
Hey, if he has ties to Croatia and actually wants to play for us then sure
I would imagine cause yeah we are pretty monocultured on the team(which truly gives us something special most of the time)
I would think you really need to be on board
As others have stated
The United States of Germany is well, not that
I have a good friend who is German, lived in Canada most of his life now. And like he says, germany is a farce
And the only reason he would go back is to milk father Germanys teet
They have for sure lost what it was
So yeah let’s face it. Croatia is truly the best quality soccer country in Europe who has stuck to its own
This is not meant to state we are better cause we are us
We just have went back for kids who are ours to begin with and not done the international thing
The Eduardo and Sammir aside
The others had true Croat ties
If the Croatia NT was ok having a 100% Serb Miladin Prso scoring goals for it
Then
The Croatia NT should have zero issues with a 50% Croat playing for them
The only reason Dele is being highlighted – wrongly – is bc some people don’t like the other 50% – which speaks volume about their own conscious/unconscious bias than the merit of Dele playing for Croatia NT
Our PG is 100% American
Dannyj.
You’re thinking of Jeremy Toljan.
There is also Alexander Uwem (Nigerian father and Croat mother) born in Zagreb
He actually turned down Nigeria a few years ago – think he’s playing in 2nd Croatia league still
Jaga bench 12:30pm Wednesday
Anonymous still very sad about it (Jaga posted a story of him holding hands with his GF a couple days ago – maybe she should stop draining his balls so often – so he has more aggression on the pitch – no Anonymous is NOT joking)
Truth pimply Analyst F up the analysis again
Of course it’s great Pavic and Tolic chose Croatia
They are missing the BIGGER PICTURE
Dozens of German-eligible/born players from tons of different countries are choosing earlier and earlier to play for their “blood/ethnic” country instead
Why ?
Hypothesis – players have no allegiance to a “United Nations of Germany” kind of team – where there are limited “real” Germanys and rather it’s a hodgepodge of different “blood/ethnic” recent immigrants from around the world trying to be shoehorned together under one banner
@ maminjo
I was thinking this the other day. Pletikosa is killing it. Have we ever had so many foreign born prospects switching allegiance this consistently? Undoubtedly, Croatias recent World Cup performances make the pitch might stronger.
But still. Has Croatia even lost any foreign high level prospects recently?
Hodza to Kosovo off the top of my head.
He was stuck in a numbers game with us. He’d never make it
🚨 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆: Croatia’s national team staff are closely monitoring Mateo Biondić after his breakout performances with Union SG this season! 🇭🇷
[@RudyGaletti]
🚨👀 EXCL | Two English clubs and a Bundesliga side are monitoring Mateo Biondic after his explosive rise at Union SG.
The 22yo ST scored and assisted vs Mechelen despite breaking his arm just 2 weeks ago.
Croatia NT is also watching closely. 🇭🇷
Somebody give Pletikosa a raise.
This guy is cleaning up.
Not giving Pleti any credit for this one
Biondic played on the same U14 team as Franjo, Vidovic, and Matanovic so HNS has always known about him
This seems like an agent pumping up their client – Biondic is playing now bc Promise David (and some other guy) is out – Biondic should AT LEAST stay 1/2 of next season to keep improving before he even thinks of transferring (suspect the “English clubs” is probably Championship level)
Pleti WILL GET credit – and have the Nose Picker monikor be permanently removed – if u can pull off Dele Thomas – that’s a hard one and will need proper concentration
At least ALL the Croatian papers have picked up Dele Thomas since Anonymous brought him to everyone’s attention last week
Croatian Cup final today Dinamo v Rijeka at 18:00 hrs Cro Time in Osijek on MAXTV.
I hope that Dinamo wins, so that Hajduk gets a chance to play in the Europa League qualifying rounds. Hajduk will get knocked out of EL, but then they get another chance to take part in Conference League qualifying and there is a slim chance I repeat slim, that they might actually qualify for the league format of the Conf L.
If Rijeka wins, they will play in EL qualifiers and Hajduk in Conference League qualifiers.

Wednesday 12:30pm ET Jaga Game Day
Argentina announced 55 player squad – PAO Andino (who they bought in Jan too) has played basically every game for PAO since he arrived – and he didn’t even make the 55 names
The only way Jaga still has a chance to at least make May 18 list is if he starts tomorrow and gets a hat-trick
Jaga WC go odds down to 5% now – hopefully he reads this and plays lights out tomorrow
Pavic stanisic. Germans are gonna hate us
Forget them
Our back line…..
Ajmo
I don’t think we will suffer a transition like has been talked about
Sure without king luka it will change but man we could be scary again in 2030 as others have stated
Can we take another moment to appreciate that in the most competitive time in international football by so many countries. We show up
We are there
And as always no one is happy to hear our name called against them in a group
FYI, …Musa, who gave us a break, did not score for once, in with Salt Lake City match, but provided two assists.
His activity and presence provided opportunity for others. Seems to be a future compliment to Baturina and Sucic.
Still on schedule to win the league scoring title as well as blow the team scoring record out of the water.
Him and Matanović definitely give us more dynamics up front
I guess the good thing about Dalić as he wasn’t always sold on budimir anyway
So musa and Matanović may make an impact this year
I think both will be hungry
The key is now I think we have a better way to supply balls to them
We were so stagnant
I think This improves now
Who do you mark in the box
One of our strikers or the hulking gvardi or the tower of Prince luka
I can see us causing discomfort for other teams in the box and of course with more dynamics from the sucic boys and baturina
Again
How we do we put kova in, except for luka as ante has talked about for years with our other midfield options
Even adding krama as the piece in front of luka and Petar
Do we just stuff kova in?
My opinion is the song is to passive but i really like the use of traditional HRV tattoos. Asking you guys: is that something we know about or like? Cos i have been looking into it recently and would love a historical croat tat like this
Manimjo loves that stuff. Sure he’ll chime in at some point to help you out with it
I kinda change my mind…
tnb its actually cool.
Those traditional tattoos are called Sićanje.
You can read about them online, but they were done by Croats to mark their daughters as Catholics so the Ottomans wouldn’t kidnap them.
It’s mostly for girls though, plus they have a pretty religious connotation.
Probably not the best choice of tattoo for an atheist male.
Anon, have fun at Eurovision.
Report back
Have a good time
Dino is now down to the final 16 in Rome now. Maybe this is his breakout tournament.
The Euro Vision 2026 song contest final is taking place this on the 16th. Our song this year is very super unapologetic Croatian, like on a Marko Thompson scale.
Don’t know how it will go over, but in my mind it deserves to win.

PANDUR HEADING TO WEMBLEY MAY 23RD !!!
BACK-TO-BACK PANDUR SHUT-OUTS VS. MILWALL
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW
ONE MORE MATCH – ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN – AND PANDUR GETS PROMOTED TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE
ANONYMOUS EYE TESTS ARE THE BEST THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN !!!!!!
No prediction for Wembley – it’s a one-off – anything can happen – it’s really great Pandur got past Milwall as Hull were MASSIVE UNDER-DOGS – and will remain MASSIVE UNDER-DOGS at Wembley
Another Wellness check on Manimjo PLEEZE
Need to make sure he’s survived his WET DREAM
Filip Pavic playing for Croatia U17 at the Euros !!!
Simply incredible
Pletisoka – now focus on Dele Thomas – if u can convince him to switch – Anonymous will never call u a nose picker again EVER – deal?
I’ve also heard that Niko Ilicevic is going to play for Croatia. Another big talent! His uncle Ivo played for Croatia.
https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldCup2026Tickets/s/M1poLlANsq
@dannyj were you asking about refunds recently? Anyway keep an eye out apparently
Thanks brother
Vuskovic is being offered a new contract by Tottenham. I don’t think he should take it. He’ll sign with Hamburger. Tottenham is on the cusp of being relegated. Despite having endless injuries, it’s best if he looks the other way. Tottenham may not even make it. Why risk it? Best case scenario they make it and are then safe and regroup with all the injuries and reshuffling. They have lots of youth and can build. Best to leave them and sign for Barcelona after this World Cup.
USG Biondic goal and assist today
Wow wow wow
I thought he was out for the season w some injury – quick healer
He got married on Thursday, hence the rush back
It’s not owned by Croatian’s any more but it’s called Croatia Restaurant in Mississauga.
I have never been but there was on called Lika on Browns Line, but if they are still there I am pretty sure they are also not Croatian owned anymore.
A good place to eat downtown is Joso’s if you want food. But that’s more of a restaurant rather than a place to watch sports. This one has gone through the family originally the dad was from Dalmacija. It is expensive but the food is phenomenal.
Not may places unfortunately.
Even if you type in Croatian bar/restaurant not much comes up. Lots of places have switched hands or closed. It’s quite sad actually.
Otherwise you have places like the one mentioned above:
Sarajevo Meats; Royal Meats; Mraković….all of which are not Croatian specifically.
Otherwise you need to connect with the communities.
In streetsville there is a church…Church of Croatian Martyrs with a park nearby called Father Kamber Park…often times they will host games there.
Then there is the Queen of Peace Church in Norval which has a hall beside it and they often host games there as well.
You may need to look into these places. For those who aren’t afraid of faith that is. Lol.
Father Kamber Park also has a restaurant in it now, I believe. It has for some time.
These last two places mentioned are outlier places to watch games they are not downtown or close to the BMO field. So just keep that in mind for the Panama game if your hope was to be close to the actual event. Or depending on where your hotel or airbnb is.
In some cases you may need to travel by Uber depending. Streetsville connects with Go Transit on the Milton line so if your staying close to Union Station that helps. That is for Father Kamber Park.
I would be diligent about check departure times and and how you need to transfer if you are staying downtown.
Norval is a bit more difficult and may require a bit more more transferring. This is of course if your not taking an Uber. Or if you are not close to Norval.
I meant to attach this post on a thread below.
There used to be a place called Dalmatian Dog in Streetsville but that shut down years ago.
Croatia restaurant is still owned by a Croatian guy… Not sure of his name but he was an employee there when Stipe owned it and bought it from him and they continue to serve fantastic and authentic Croatian dishes. That being said, it’s a restaurant and not a sports bar.
As for Lika restaurant…. That got bought by Chinese years ago… Not one Croatian thing on their menu… They only kept the sign
Lost in the Hamburg-Freiburg excitement . . . Perisic two goals in 4-1 PSV win in the Eredivisie today, and player of the match on both Sofascore and Fotmob.
Man that first header goal of his is a real work of art.
Prpic with 90 minute today
First minutes since December 2025 – crazy
Got 2 yellow cards and thus a red and get sent off in ET
If anyone is looking for bars in Toronto. One Balkan bar that stands out is DOM Taberna. It has a nice patio, live music, and highly rated. 30 minute train from BMO field. Majority of Croatian or any Balkan restaurants are in the Mississauga, Hamilton, Stoney Creek area. Prominently Streetsville is where the Croat party is at. For other bars near BMO field…Brazen Irish Pub, Local Eatery, Loose Moose, Draft Room and Score on Queen Street. Those are my recommendations for you out of towners.
Appreciate this!
Croatia isn’t Balkan.
Also, from the website it looks like this DROM bar is a gypsy live music venue. I’m guessing that it is gypsy turbo folk music (that Serbs listen to).
Probably best to go to Croatian places than these cigan wannabe places.
Hvala bogu. Barem je ovdje jedan Hrvat. Vi ostali?
Croatia isn’t Balkan. Balkans are Turkish.
Jesu li neki od vas uopće Hrvati?
Get the fuck out of here with your Balkan bar. This goes back to what I wrote last week that this World Cup will be a terrible for Croatian fans coming over. 75% of you wont be able to sing any songs because you are so Americanized.
Bro I ain’t tour guide lmaoo. I’m giving places to go near the stadium and suggested a few places. Perhaps a hot dog stand is more suitable. Ask for a cevapi on a bun with mustard lol jk 😉 as Russell peters said “take it and go”
And yet you’re still on this website despite complaining about this for two years. And you’re still going to the WC spending thousands on a subpar atmosphere.
You’re as dumb as you sound.
Was it at me or for me or Davor above? Lol I’m trying to be positive and help Croatian fans when they come to Toronto.
Davor. Sorry for the confusion. He’s the only troll on here.
Appreciate the love from the Croatian Canadians. Some of the nicest people I’ve met in the diaspora.
There was a bar in Toronto called Hrvati. Was there once. Just did a search to see if is still open and saw this.
https://nationalpost.com/news/toronto/torontos-trans-balkan-bar-switch-feud-between-owners-turns-croatian-haunt-into-serbian-success
I commented on this above sorry, if you want to read my post.
I jesmo uopće Hrvati. Teško je kad nema dućana što su naše. Svi su se promijenile rukama i najviši od one kafiće i restorane nisu više naše. To je šta se desilo.
Čitaj što sam objavio gori u konverziju. Htjeo sam to objaviti.
What the Fcuk is Dom Taberna??? I just looked it up and they have Brazilian queer night…. Where are you sending people to? There’s no way this place is Croatian… Based on the description I think it’s run by Roma Gypsies.
Just watched Mario Pasalic come on. Forgot about him yuk, I really don’t want or need to see that guy live
You must be on your period again. Mario has done a lot for the NT.
Wow what a great game hamburg v Freiburg with our guys getting 3 of the 5 goals between them.
Jaga 17 min cameo
6 touches
4/4 passes
1 chance creates
1 recovery
1/1 ground duels
1 sad Anonymous Jaga being F-rd
Jagusic has nobody to blame but himself for listening to his stupid agent. If he went to Dinamo or stayed at Slaven until the summer he probably would have been called by Dalic.
1000% agree
They took advantage of small village Jaga and dangled a 5-year contract in front of him
Can’t blame him for taking the $$$ but wasn’t the best for his football career (short-term definitely)
Is there a better Croatian athlete right now at their sport right now than Macklin Celebrini?
Lamelo Ball maybe?
He plays for Canada.
With the limit on the number of players, will Dalic take Budimir, Matanovic, Musa, and Ivanovic? Or does one of those four have to be left off the team?
Just dump Pongracic.
We don’t need ALL of Sutalo, Caleta-Car, Erlic and Pongracic.
We already have Vuskovic, Stanisic, Gvardiol, Jakic, Smolcic.
No team calls up this many defenders, but I have a hard time seeing Dalic cut any of these guys.
* Pongracic is Serie A’s leader in yellows this season.
Maybe this is one benefit of Olic being part of Dalic’s staff for the WC (can’t believe I’m saying this)
Olic (“attacker-mafia”) will assess attacking threats (from prelim list that goes to Rijeka) and hopefully convince Dalic he needs more attackers and which ones can contribute
Historically u have only Corluka basically there and he’s probably convinced Dalic he needs so many CBs in “CB-mafia” style which has led to this bloated CB list
Basically ur pull as assistant coach consistent w number of players in squad that play ur position
Matanovic with two beauties and Vuksovic with a fluke almost goal with that free kick. Matanovic always hustles and finds his way to score with headers. We will be beating England if everything falls into place. Gvardiol/Vuksovic/Stanisic/ will be unstoppable. Sucic and Matanovic will be our top players upfront.
“almost” goal?
It was actually a goal
Budimir man
Jaga still bench 12:30pm
Speechless.
Anonymous hopes he leaves in the summer and not stick around for the new coach (whoever that is) and try to get to a top 5 league (if he can) and fight it out there
Jaga’s agent sent him in the wrong direction. Playing for Cesc, and with Baturina and Smolcic, at Como is the perfect fit.
Especially with Paz moving on and Baturina stepping into the leadership role.
Jaga release clause is 16.8 million Euros. Does that give Como or any other team the ability to talk to him and sign him if they pay it? If so, does it make sense for Como or another top-five-league team to pay that amount, and get him out of this bad situation in Greece?
It’s too big a risk to pay 17 million for a player in the Greek league who can’t get off the bench.
Even though we know he’s good, most teams aren’t going to pay this much for a guy who has only ever played for Slaven Belupo.
Lots of examples of players being sold for less than release clause
Also lot depends on details: when active (timing/window), what circumstances, etc
A RC (I don’t know the details of his) is not an impediment to him being sold necessarily
Beautiful moment
Luka gets the “Free Vuskovic #44” banner from fan in the crowd
And lays it on the ground for the team celebration
That’s the FUEL that has driven Luka to his level – it’s impossible to regulate for – but living second he’s awake he knows he’s playing for Mario too
He picked up the banner – he’s taking it home
I was saying this before, and I’ll say it again, Igor is our future striker!! He has the profile, the positioning, the movement, and the touch. He just needs to work on consistency that’s all.
That game against Poland in the Nations League or Euro was unmistakable for me. He has that predatory instinct.
10 goals for Igor this season.
And Vuskovic is right near the top of Bundesliga defenders with 6 goals.
With Vuskovic and Igor crashing the net on corner kicks, we will be more dangerous than the experts and bookies think. . .
4:24 Extra-Time
Luka Vuskovic no-look scorpion kick to clear the long ball out
That’s the BEST clearance Anonymous has ever seen in their life
Igor 2nd goal
Two incredible finishes
The first one is like Mandzukic cutting across the defender
The second one header – a perfect connection on the header – the ball goes from his head flat/straight horizontal – Anonymous has never seen that before – and than placement in the corner of the net – that might be the BEST header Anonymous has EVER seen in terms of technique – the trajectory is 100% flat/straight horizontal, not even sure how u do that (@Crnkovic – plz must watch)
His OOP, in particular pressing and getting stuck in, is really good he’s like a 1972 Boston Broad Street Bully hockey player out there – really aggressive and causing havoc (obviously he’s trying to avoid Luka and target the other two CBs where/when possible)
So would you say he is a bit more profile to mandzo?
I was gonna ask who is like but seems you already answered this moron
Not suggesting any kind of official error. The 100 percent correct must be intact.
It is therefore clear you are simply testing us morons. Seeing who is alert and who isn’t . . .
And the answer is: Yes, we are watching, we are paying attention.
We are alert.
It WAS the PHILADELPHIA Broad Street bullies from the 1970s. “Moose” Dupont, Dave “the Hammer” Schulz, Don “Big Bird” Saleski, et al. At the Spectrum. Coached by the late, great Freddie “the Fog” Shero.
Igor again!!!!!!!!!
The thing right now
Is we have alot more ability to score
We always talking about strikers and rightfully so
But goals from guys like sucic(both of them), baturina, defender’s potentially like vusko and gvardi
If we do anything it’s by sheer community effort
May everyone stay healthy
The usual suspects can still perform but the new boys time to transition is now
Vuskovic goal
He pulled rank on Arsenal’s Fabio Vierra to take it (that’s all u need to see to know he’s ready to start at Barca – Vierra is a proper player with proper pedigree – and he lets a 19 y/o “kid” take it instead)
Perfect along the ground free kick in the corner (no Broz-like player laying behind the wall to prevent a kick like that going thru)
2-1
As mentioned previously, Vuskovic is already too good for Barca or Madrid – but will have to settle until they create a new team good enough for him
Vuskovic goal!!!!!!!!!
Sunday Jaga 12:30pm game day
A nice goal by Igor today against Hamburg and Vuskovic.
Just watched the two goals
Was Igor trolling Vuskovic punching the goal-post (and breaking his hand/fingers) with that celebration of punching the corner flag ?
Looked like it
Love the trash-talking amongst Croats in the same game – Pero copying Baturina’s celebration by flopping on the ground – last time they played
Davies for Canada might not make it in time. He’s 25 and always injured. As a Canadian Croat, I’ll be cheering for Bosnia. It’s been a while since they made it at the big stage. Them beating Italy was impressive. Canada just doesn’t have that level of talent to keep up. We lost in hockey to the states which still haunts me and always will. Canada can’t seem to win at anything now. David isn’t having the best year either. Mark my words, Bosnia will suprise and win their opening game 2-1. Bosnia and Croatia top their groups.
Not a Hab fan I presume?
I am cheering for the Habs as a die hard Leafs fan. That’s the level I’ve stooped to. Buffalo or Montreal winning I’ll be happy with but I’d rather see a Canadian team win. We haven’t won since 93. Croatia was just starting as an independent country.
Petar Sučić score a banger for Inter today. Mark my words, he will be one of the breakout stars of the World Cup.
Hope you are right about WC. The potential is there for a breakout.
He was player of the game on Sofascore. . . .
Heck of a left-footed curler, reminded me a little of Modric’s goal against Argentina 2018, but the left foot and opposite side of the net . . .
How did all of you get to pay 1k for the tickets? Or did some of you get them for cheaper?
I live in Montreal and I’m so disappointed that the tickets were this expensive…. Such a shame
I kept hitting refresh when I got the notice from FIFA that the Toronto matches were going to be sold at face value and scored a couple. I don’t know what the availability is on there now.
I just checked StubHub and tickets for the Toronto match are just under $400 USD for the cheapest seats.
@Crnkovic

He made a goal-line clearance but went clattering into he post awkwardly
Came off a few minutes later still in pain on his right side
