Duje Ćaleta-Car came on for an injured Jan Bednarek Friday night in the 41st minute of Southampton’s 3-3 draw against league leaders, Arsenal. In the 66th minute, DCC would head home a ball on the back post to make it 3-1. Arsenal would rally for two late goals but a victory wasn’t in the cards as fatal defensive errors could very well cost them the Premiership title with Manchester City breathing down their necks. DCC has been a fringe player for Southampton this season. He has not been called up by Dalić for nearly a year. However, it will be his goal that very well shook up the Premiership race this weekend.
Dion Drena Beljo scored the opening goal in Augsburg’s 1-1 draw against Stuttgart. He dove beautifully to head the ball in front of the net inside the first 10 minutes of the match. It’s his second Bundesliga goal of the season since making a winter transfer in January from Osijek. Beljo is 21 years old and on our radar as being a future striker for Croatia. Borna Sosa played 71 minutes in this match for Stuttgart.
Nikola Vlašić was given MOTM honors in Torino’s 1-0 victory over Lazio Saturday. Vlašić was given a 8.3 rating as his 43rd minute pass to Ivan Ilic led to the game’s only goal. It will be a great problem for Dalić to have if Vlašić can get back into the form he had in Russia. We still have to figure out who will anchor the right wing position with Krama, Pašalić, Vlašić still vying for the starting XI spot.
How come rebic doesn’t get a call up to national team can score
Nice goals by Budimir. His manager said afterward that those were the fruit of lots of extra time practicing and staying focused on improvement despite an unsatisfying season individually. He may not be the most gifted player, but you have to respect his contribution to this year’s success at Osasuna.
for those delusional people – calling Perisic a world-class
right now 5 – 1 | so I could not tell you – except there is…
Not a single Tottenham player–> a world-class
{{[even for Kane and Son]}}
Wtf does a Mississauga oil wholesaler know about Croatian footy? What else do you use that lube for?
Not soccer related to Croatian sports related.

Stanisic made mistakes for 2nd and 3rd goal..didnt position himself well for 2nd goal and close down quickly enough for 3rd goal
He will be dropped permanently soon after such poor performance
Gravenberch was at fault for the third goal. Not Stanisic.
Hmm, so Stanisic was at fault for the 2nd goal? Don’t think I wanna watch the highlights (not least not yet) as I don’t enjoy seeing our guys mess up.
I note that Pavard wasn’t available due to suspension. Wonder if that had anything to do with why Tuchel started Stanisic in this match.
A negative for Stanisic: based on comments at Bavarianfootballworks, it seems like fellow rightback Mazraoui put up a decent performance. On the other hand, Cancelo probably has to cover for the injured Davies at leftback in the remaining matches.
Honestly when you think about the competition that Stanisic faces at Bayern, it’s just crazy, isn’t it?
Mazraoui and Cancelo did well in that match. Poor stanisic..prepared to stay behind cancelo pavard and mazraoui. U cant just fall in such decisive moment.
It’s a good sign to see that (despite not scoring regularly) Beljo continues to start for Augsburg despite the abundance of forwards they have.
The have Beljo, Demirovic, and Berisha (who is having a breakout year and just got his first few callups for Germany).
Hopefully Beljo continues to start as Augsburg still has that American kid (Pepe) coming back from his loan in the Netherlands (which will add to the competition).
Yeah good sign indeed. I feel as if Augsburg is a Hrvati friendly club. I remember long ago when Jedvaj was on loan there, he was in the first team and played regularly. Maybe it’s a good place for our guys to gain a foothold in the Bundesliga 🙂
Budimir with a pair in the first 15 minutes of the game, 3-1 at the half.
Bad news.
Dalić will now call him up over Beljo and Musa, ha ha.
Dalic is absolute shiit!!
Huge goal for Beljo so he can break through and earn himself a call up for Nations league finals.
Him for Petkovic spot imo (if he keeps this up), can share the role with Musa upfront for now on we gotta look for the future and progress.
Ya we talk about needing to let the kids have some growing pains
It’s not like anyone of our strikers are killing it
So let’s see some more of the kids
